On earth the next day Shade woke up and made some pancakes with a wide smile then remembered how Kari began acting the other day. She hummed in thought as she grabbed her things, gave both of her dad's a kiss goodbye then left for Kari's house with a plate of pancakes like the morning before.

When Shade arrived at Kari's front door she noticed the note and took it then began to read it to herself. Her eyes widened and she dropped the plate of pancakes in shock then rushed back home crying out of confusion and worry.

"Daddy! Dad!" Shade called, using different ways to say "dad" to differentiate the two. Both of her father's came running and saw how upset she was and began to comfort her.

"What's wrong honey?" Luke asked as he brought Shade into a tender hug.

"Kari, she's..." Shade sniffled and held up the note for both of her father's to see. They gasped and frowned at the note.

"It's ok sweetie," Brian said in a soft tone. "She'll be back. I'm sure of it." He began to smooth out Shade's hair while Luke went and got Shade some apple juice since he knew that it would calm her down. Moments later it was decided that Shade would take the day off from school since they would look for Kari together to try and find her.

In the Pokèmon realm Kari slept soundly in her new home as the sun began to shine brightly.

Soon there was a tweet by Kari's ear, then another and another. "Pidgey!" It called. "Pidgey! Pidg-Pidg!" Kari grumbled tiredly and opened her eyes slowly to see a sand colored bird on her stomach tweeting kindly to get her awake.

"Mmmm-mornin." Kari moaned as she sat up with a stretch, causing the bird to fly onto her shoulder.

"Pidgey!" The bird called, most likely known as a Pidgey. Kari gave her a smile then stood and went to change then go outside. She went back to the beach area where the big cave was and went inside. The child frowned as she felt like the size of an ant, if not smaller, upon entering the cave. Kari looked around and noticed that only Arceus was present today while the other legendary Pokèmon were off doing their own thing.

"Hello Kari. How was your sleep? I assume Pidgey was a nice wake up call." He greeted plainly and Kari nodded.

"I slept well." Kari gave a small smile. "Yeh, she has a good singing voice." She giggled with a smile and Arceus blinked in slight shock.

"How did you know that Pidgey was a girl?" He asked and Kari shrugged.

"I dunno, lucky guess I think." Kari gave a nervous giggle. Arceus took a mental note of this then went on to explain something's that were important to Kari's situation.

"Kari, you know that there are many wars going on in your world. Most are for small and foolish reasons." Kari nodded. "Well, I said yesterday that I saw something in you that could change humankind. Well, this is how you change them. Figure out how to stop those wars and change people's hearts as well as getting them to understand. How you change them and how you explain things will decide if you get the Pokèmon back on earth." Arceus said and Kari went wide eyed at such pressure.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Back up. Stop wars? Change millions upon millions of people?! That's impossible! I mean it can't be done! Everyone thinks on their own and it's natural for others to collide over different beliefs. I can't do it, I'm sorry."

"I didn't say EVERY heart. I know it is natural for conflict but this amount on this scale is not natural. It must be brought down but not forever extinguished." Arceus explained and Kari grumbled.

"How do you expect me to stop wars? I'm just a single ten year old girl. I won't be able to cause enough impact to stop them." Kari said and Arceus chuckled.

"You'll be fine. There is something that you have that no other human has and something that no Pokèmon has. Not even the legendaries. Now as to how you do it, I suggest you start by talking to the other legendary Pokèmon, since they have fought with each other many times before." Kari sighed in defeat and gave Arceus a nod.

"Alright. I'll go talk with them." Kari said and began to leave the big cave.

"Kari, I need to tell you, I'll be sending you on a mission within a week so I hope you will figure this out by then. If not then that is fine, you have plenty of time." Arceus called and Kari nodded with a gulp then left and went to talk with the other legendary Pokèmon. First she talked with Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Groudon then with the bird trio and Lugia, the beast trio and Ho-oh, Mewtwo and Mew and Genesect, and the rest. She had spent the whole day talking with the legendary Pokèmon and figured nothing out. So she ate dinner with some Bellossom, Gloom and Oddish then went to bed.

The next day Kari woke up to the call of a Rattata squeak. Kari smiled kindly at the Pokémon then went out of her cave and then began to walk around. She decided to have a little fun today since she had nothing to do. Kari went to hang out with Keldeo for a while. The two played in the stream happily. Soon Mew joined in gleefully and the three laughed and had a lot of fun. As they played a Pokémon watched them from a distance and sighed. Kari noticed then stood up straight, she had been knocked down into the water not too long ago, and got splashed by Keldeo.

"Got ya Kari!" He laughed happily and Kari giggled at him then trotted over to the Pokèmon with a kind smile.

"R-ri?!!" The Pokèmon called and took a step back.

"H-hey. Don't be scared. I... I won't hurt you. I'm Kari, it's nice to meet you."

"R-Riolu..." The Pokèmon gulped and waved. Mew then flew up.

"That's a Riolu. He seems to have taken an interest in you Kari." Mew giggled and Kari blinked.

"Pokèmon and humans have not been in touch for millions of years. No wonder he's curious." Keldeo said while walking up to the small group. Riolu nodded, agreeing to the two legendaries with a gulp. Kari smiled and giggled.

"Well, y-you can join us if you want." Kari said nervously, she was not used to making friends since Shade was her only friend. Riolu nodded happily and joined them. They all had fun together then went to eat some food under an Oran berry tree then went back to hanging out. Eventually Kari looked at Riolu and hummed. "Hey, Riolu. I have a question."

"Ri?"

"I was thinking. Would you like it if I call you Ace? I mean, I think it be cool but if you don't want me to then I won't. I was just asking." Kari smiled nervously and Riolu blinked with an opened mouth as if in awe then nodded quickly. He liked the idea of being called by a human name. Kari smiled then nodded with a light giggle. "Alright, from now on I'll call you Ace." Kari smiled and the day went on with the group having fun together until they had to go to bed for the night.
