Third-person P.O.V

Shanaya ignored Aakash for a long time, but she kept checking her profile for messages from him even though, she is not replying to him. She got busy in her college works, orientation is around the corner. She doesn't want to start going to college just yet, because she is afraid of initial ragging. She decided that she will go to college after ten days. She didn't even say that to her family members, she just said the orientation is not a big deal and doesn't matter even if she didn't attend it. Her brother kind of supported her in this. Days are going on quickly, it's been Fifteen days the college has started and tomorrow is the first day of her engineering college. She is kind of relaxed now, and ready to face the challenges that college life brings.

She wanted to share the news of going to college to Aakash, opened her profile, and started texting him:

Sweety_143: Hi, Aakash
I hope you're doing good.
sorry for not replying soon. I am kind of busy with my college works.
Hope you understand me.
Tomorrow is the first day of my engineering college for some reason                I felt like sharing the news to you. I am taking computer science and engineering as my major.
I might be busy for a while and thank you for your patience and not giving up on me. I can't wait to talk to you and meet you.

You know what today I want to say you my name and also want to share a photo of mine which you're waiting for a long time now. My name is Shanaya and yes I forgive you.  Happy?

Amidst that, an idea popped into her head and she executed it by laughing to herself, thinking about Aakash's reaction. Then she attached a photo of the actress in the image attachment followed by her photo as a second image attachment and sent to him.

Ignoring him for 2 weeks she got to know that Aakash never forgot to text her. He shared all the things that are happening around him like a daily update. She liked it how he shared things and gave importance to her even though he didn't know about her fully yet, at last, I thought he persuaded me enough. He kind of earned the eligibility to see me after almost a month and half of texting, ignoring. Now her little heart is curious to know how his voice will sound like? She felt bad about not having a mobile phone for 1st time in my life. She used to think it is as a waste of time seeing her friends, but now she changed her opinion. The feeling that she has on this guy is making her think the site of whatever she used to believe before. Shanaya thought him as his first boyfriend. In her definition A boy who is her friend. She is confused about her feelings, with all those messages that Aakash sent has made her feel special. She started thinking positively about him. She started listening to the songs he posted on her profile saying it was his favorite playlist, and she started enjoying them. It was her favorite pass time in the last few weeks.

Aakash, on the other hand, is waiting for messages from sweety. He is waiting for her to forgive him, and he wanted to get to know her badly and wanted to talk to her and listen to her voice and meet her but for all this to happen she needs to reply which is not happening for a long time. Every time he sees a bar of chocolate or key chain the thoughts are automatically going to her. He doesn't even know her real name yet. There are so many things he wants to share, but he doesn't know what to do then an idea struck in his head, and he started sharing all the important and funny information with her through messages. He also prayed that she should accidentally come online and the will have a conversation. It's been fifteen days and it never happened, but he doesn't want to give up so soon, there is something about her that is attracting him.

He started his internship in a reputed company and also wanted to do his final year project with the same company. He did not want to mess up his work by thinking about sweety. He kept his attention and focus on the work and doing a good job. He even got an appraisal for his work and as soon as he comes home he started sending messages to sweety about the things that are happening at work and with friends like how they are teasing him and so on. As usual, he is at the office and the day was very busier than usual. He came home very late and tired from work. He ordered a pizza from domino's as they are the only ones open for midnight delivery. He got up and thought to get fresh before pizza comes and went to take a shower. His thoughts automatically went to sweety, and he finished the shower and changed into pajamas and opened the laptop to see if there are any messages from sweety.

Opening the account he saw a lot of notifications then he sighed and clicked on them hoping to see the only name he wanted. As soon as he opened there are messages from sweety and the happiness Aakash felt was indescribable. Some images need to be downloaded, and he was reading the messages first just he was about to read the last two messages the doorbell rang. Cursing at the timing of the pizza delivery guy he went to take his order and as he was happy today he gave more than the usual tip to the Pizza delivery guy. Closing the door he kept pizza on the table in front of him he read the messages and opened the first photo. Seeing it he was angry because he thought it was her photo and realizing it's an actress and not the person he wanted to see. He thought she was making fun of him. Still, he has the hope maybe second was her picture, and he doesn't want to lose the chance of seeing her. He decided to download it and click on it, but the buffer is too much, and he had to wait for good 15minutes until the picture is downloaded.

He was scared of opening it because he thought what if she is not like the image that formed in the head? Am I ready to see her? Then his inner voice scolded him "Till now you pestered her to send a picture, Once she sent it, now you're having second thought's idiot? Just open it" with that I decided however she looks it does not change the fact she is special and opened the photo. After a good two minutes of seeing her picture, Aakash thought he didn't deserve her. She is beautiful and her big eyes 👀 attracted him the most. He saw that photo again and again. He knows her name now Shanaya Her name rolled off his tongue beautifully. He thought the perfect name for a perfect girl like her name means sweet and beautiful so is she. Now he wants to talk to her and hear her voice and meet her. He decided to text her:

Aakash: Hi shanaya,
You have a lovely name and it suits you pretty well.
I have seen you're picture.
You're beautiful and I don't have words to say how I felt after seeing you.
All the best for your first day of college.
I am very tired at work today and nothing new happened to share.
I want to hear your voice badly wish I can call you now. I just remembered I don't have your number. Here is my Number: +91 945XXXXXXX.
You know you can call me anytime.

I will be waiting for your call 📞and I am very happy to see that you forgave me. I can't wait to talk to you. I will say the rest of the things when you call me.

After sending her messages Aakash went to the kitchen reheated the pizza and ate. He went to sleep with the thought and excitement to hear from shanaya and his mind is now captured by a permanent memory of Shanaya's photo. Aakash awaits for shanaya to call him and drifts to sleep.
