Tyler sat in his office still in shock. No one has ever talked to him like that before instead they'd always treat him like a king. Girls will do anything just to have him look at them. They'd always say and do anything in his favor but she- she was different.

Ellie didn't even care if he was a managing director, she just talked to him like a mere commoner and he was surprised that he was admitting this but he liked it. He liked this side of him around her atleast he had  someone  he could be different around.

"Oh well" He sighed.

Tyler just relived all the memories with the janitor and couldn't help but giggle. He laughed out loud even more.

"Sir, the..." Sophie stopped dead in her track and gave her boss a quizzical look. What's up with him?

Tyler jumped up in shock breaking him from his reverie "Don't you know how to knock?" He questioned, angry and embarrassed that someone had seen him in that previous state.

"Sir, I did like five times but you didn't respond and this is very important" Still shocked from what she saw.

Tyler cleared his throat "What is it?" still confused that Sophie had knocked on his door more than once and he hadn't noticed. He seriously needed to see his therapist.

"Sir, Darlene didn't show up for her first photo shoot and they decided to use another model. After that Darlene was used for other advertising boards" Tyler clocked his right eyebrow still confused as to how that was a problem. "The public and the people we were advertising for said they needed Darlene's replacement"

Tyler nods taking the information all in "Just call the model and make the change. Don't see how that's a problem"

His Secretary took a long deep breath "Sir, we have to satisfy the public. We could have ignored them but we just can't"

"Sophie, I am still at sea as to why this is an emergency" or maybe it is and he was just spending too much time with a certain dumb girl for him to notice. Tyler chuckled at the thought of Ellie.

"Sir, I said it is an emergency but you are laughing. If I may ask Sir, what's so amusing?"

"Uhm... Nothing. I just remembered a joke Akpororo cracked" Sophie's eyes were wild in  bewilderment.

This was not like her boss. A serious matter like this and he was thinking of a joke Akpororo cracked. Something was really up with him but she decided to let it slide for now. "The person who replaced her for the Sasha clothing line was a janitor and we can't just breach the contract for Darlene. The public really liked her and Sasha clothing line requested for the Janitor" She informed.

Tyler nodded his head slowly as the information sank in. "Oh... Now I get. Where is the picture of this janitor. If she's really that good we could recruit her and as for Darlene, we would think of something without having the contract breached" He responded fully in boss mode.

Sophie brought the photo of the model as he continued "Darlene came late to the photo shoot. She didn't keep to the contract but I am sure we could figure something..." He stopped mid-sentence as he looked at the model his secretary had put  on his oak table.

Now it was confirmed, he was crazy. He was now seeing her everywhere. After now, he would call his therapist.

Tyler laughed hysterically  and that made Sophie step back in fear which earned him a quizzical look. "Sir, you okay?"

"Yeah, this actually reminded me of someone I know" He laughed at the thought of Ellie being a model and shook his head and laughed out even more. The two didn't even go together. His smile faded once he studied the picture well.  Her lips were pouted, her eyes were smokey and her back was hunched slightly whilst her hair framed her oval face as she was seen in one of Sasha's clothing line.

He then recalled Sophie calling her a janitor. Ellie was a janitor too. He laughed mentally not wanting to disgrace himself more than he already has. He was sure it was just a mere coincidence or was it? "Sophie?" He called, his eyes never leaving the picture

"Yes Sir?"

"What is the name of the model?" She fiddled through some papers  before finally answering "Uhm... It's a Miss Ellie Brume"

Suddenly, the room started spinning and his mouth was dry, from what actually? He walked over to a table in his office, poured himself a full glass of water and downed it in one gulp.

"Sir, do you know her?" She asked surprised at his sudden reaction once he heard her name.

"Yes" Surprised at his response. The Tyler he knew would deny knowing a janitor and noticed Sophie mirrored his expression. He figured she was thinking the same thing he was thinking.

Tyler cleared his throat "I need you to arrange a boards meeting by 3 o'clock"

"Yes Sir" She nods and scurried out of his office.

Tyler sighed as he picked up his phone and dialed his therapist. He would have to see her after the boards meeting.

Ellie had gone through tons of  apartments, flats and face-me-I-face-yous. Some were nice but too far from work, some were dirty and some were too expensive then she decided to settle for an apartment that was a forty minute ride from work. The apartment had 3 floors, which hers was located on the last.

Her apartment was so small that she was sure it would fit her room back in Sky View Hotel and there would still be lots of space but like they say back home at all at all na e bad pass so she would manage this until she had enough money to afford a better one.

She moved to the kitchen which was small- sorry tiny, the bathroom wasn't any better either. It was much smaller than the kitchen and dirty. The shower was rusty all over  and the toilet looked like it had seen better days.

The good thing was that the apartment came with it's own furniture. She would have to go shopping.

"How can they be so irresponsible with their own property that people would pay to live in?" She asked no one in particular.

By the time she was done cleaning it was 5 in the evening and she had not eaten lunch.

Ellie grabbed her purse and walked out of her apartment to grab something to eat after making sure the door was locked. She thought she had seen an eatery somewhere closeby. She would have to ask... Her phone rang and caught her off her thoughts. "Hello" She said unsure of who was speaking.

"Good afternoon Ma'am. Am I speaking with Miss Ellie Brume?" She looked at the phone for a moment wondering why they were asking of her before she spoke again "Yes please. Is anything wrong"What trouble had she landed herself in? All she wanted to do was go eat, sleep and have no one bug her.

" Not at all. I am from the Star Modeling Agency and Mr Tyler Xander requested for you"

"Right now?"

"Right away. Thank you"

"Yeah sure" Ellie rolled her eyes as the line went dead. She should have known he was going to land her in trouble after everything that happened today. Without wasting much time, she got out of the building and hailed a taxi.

On getting to his office after asking for directions, she met a pretty lady who she assumed was his secretary and walked to her. "Hi, I am Miss Brume. I was asked to come see Tyler" The shock on the Secretary's face was so evident. Ellie assumed it was because she addressed her boss informally but she couldn't care less.

"Yes, Mr Xander would see you now" She informed emphasizing on the words 'Mr Xander'. Ellie assumed she was the one that spoke with her in the phone since she sounded like her.

Sophie led Ellie to Xander's office which she walked into without knocking and His secretary glared at her "Miss, You can't just do that"

Ellie gave her one of her glares too "Oops. Too late"

"Why did you not knock?" asked an angry Tyler

"Well, you see Sir, I couldn't stop her" She said pointing at Ellie

"Ellie?" Tyler asked startled as he noticed her presence

"Yeah, it's me. Remember how you were going to barge into Madam Ani's office? Well, this was how she was going to feel if I had not stopped you"

Sophie cocked an eyebrow at Ellie hoping Tyler would put the young woman in her place but to her surprise he didn't instead he just sat there and cleared his throat clearly embarrassed.

"Well, sit. This isn't why I called you here. Sophie, please excuse us"

"Alright Sir" Sophie excused herself shutting the door behind her as Ellie sat down.

"So? Why did you ask for me?" She asked, the worry evident in her voice.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Tell you what?" She asked confused

"That you were Darlene's replacement"

"I don't just rub my achievements in other people's face unlike someone I know" She gave him a knowing look once she finished talking.

"What? No way... I... I.."
.
"I....I. You what?? Please go straight to the point. I'm starved"

Tyler rolled his eyes " Alright. We had a meeting about the issue at hand, the clothing line you modeled for really liked you" He paused "So..."

"So, what?" Ellie asked impatiently

"So, the boards have come to a decision that you would be recruited as Star agency's model" Ellie's eyes went wide in shock.

She didn't know what to do. She didn't know whether she should cry, jump or laugh. Was this even real? "Somebody should pinch me. Are you serious?" Her eyes were already brimming with tears.

"Yes, here's the contract. Please sign it" He brought out some papers and handed it to her to sign.

"Shut the front door" Ellie said still in shock.
