A small boy blinked twice as an Eevee growled. A second one whined weakly behind a corner. The boy paused as he knelt down and put a hand on the more violent one's head.

"Shh... you're hurt..." A gentle light escaped his hand as a dark shadow hissed and fled. The Eevee's growl calmed as it purred. "There you go..." He then smiled at the other Eevee which had limped over to him. "Hi there... let's get you healed..." He picked it up and carried it to the nearby center, the other following behind.

He stayed with the smaller Eevee as its sibling worried, unable to sleep. The boy was patient with both Normal types, helping them through the pain and distress. Eventually the smaller Eevee was able to join the other, who was very happy about the news. They cuddled for some time before going to him to thank him. He giggled as he was pushed down by the bigger one and they licked his face.

"You're welcome." He managed to say between giggles. He then felt faint as he laid down, alerting the two Eevees. The smaller one laid near his head and gave him comforting purrs while the other one went over to the nurse, who noticed.

Same as he had done for them, the two Normal types stayed with him as he rested. The smaller Eevee rested next to him while the other monitored the washcloth on his head. He smiled weakly as he petted them.

"Thank you..." The bigger Eevee smiled as its sibling purred softly.

The trio walked out of the center as he rubbed his face.

"Ok..." He then paused, which made the duo Eevees turn to him. "Do you two want to join me?" They nodded before he pulled out two pokeballs. "Good thing I have two..." He set them down as they tapped them. He smiled as he sent them out once more. "Alright. Let's go." They nodded before they set off at his side.

A small girl yelped as a pokemon launched out at her, having a dark aura around it. A Bulbasaur had the aura, but she was terrified. She hid behind a tree before a yelp filled the air. Scared, she peeked around the tree, seeing a Ralts and Misdreavus chase the angry pokemon away. She paused before stepping out, gaining the two's attention. The Misdreavus flew to her side instantly checking if she was wounded while the Ralts waddled over and hugged her leg to comfort her. She giggled softly as she picked it up.

"Thank you..." She then looked around, knowing she was lost in the dark forest. The Ralts sensed her fear before alerting the Misdreavus, who nodded and guided her back to the village.

"What generous pokemon!"

The small pokemon smiled as the girl was comforted by her grandmother. Her grandfather gave them food as he hummed.

"If you want to take them as your own, I can get you some pokeballs." She paused as they looked up at her.

"I... wouldn't mind. They helped me so much." They smiled as they finished the food and went to her. "Hello there..."
