Noise Level: Someone Tell These People to Shut Up!

Third Person POV:

In the center of the Arena, two flashes of light appear at opposite ends of the battle grounds. When the light fades, two figures appear kneeling on the ground equipped in full gear. The one on the left is wearing what looks like black assassin clothing with a bow and quiver on their back, the figure is wearing black boots with black jeans and a hood covers their face.

On the right is another figure, this one is wearing black boots, black pants with two daggers sheathed on his right side, a can of mace attached to his belt on his left side along with a cutlass, a bow is on his back as well as a quiver, a watch is on his left arm and a silver bracelet on his right arm. He has a wolf pelt covering his head and has silver looking armor on. The two figures stand and stare at each other for a moment as a voice rings out through the Colosseum.

"Welcome everyone to the first Match in the Colosseum!" The voice says and a man appears standing on a podium "Today's first match is against two Heroes, one who was cast into the heart of Damnation and yet he is prospering, Our Hero of the Damned is Perseus Jackson, or now known as Shadow, son of Hades and Lady Styx, Assassin of Tartarus!" the crowd roars in approval as the assassin figure just looks around confused as hell "Our other Hero, is one who has come back from the dead just to protect the one he loves, his name is also Perseus Jackson, but his name is better known as Lunar, Son of Poseidon, and Sally Jackson, Guardian of the Hunt and Lady Artemis!" The Crowd erupts into cheers and Lunar looks around

"These two powerful beings will be battling it out to see who will win, I am your host 'The Author'" The Author announces as Lunar and Shadow face each other

"Your name is Percy?" Shadow asks and Lunar nods

"Yeah, yours is Percy as well?" Lunar asks and Shadow nods "Well this is an interesting fight, Instinct what do you think the chances are of us winning?" Lunar continues as Instinct appears and looks contemplative

"Fifty-fifty" He says as he disappears and Lunar summons a round bronze shield with a silver crescent moon in the middle and pulls a pen out of his pocket and uncaps it causing Anaklusmos to appear

"Not going to lie, I like those odds" Shadow says as he summons his own circular shield that his half-brother Tyson made him and he pulls a pen out and summons his own Anaklusmos

"Let the best warrior win" The Author announced and the two heroes shot towards each other

Lunar left behind a silver streak while Shadow blurred as he used Hermes' blessing of super speed. The two swung their swords at each other and when the identical blades connected a warping effect pulsed around the two combatants. They quickly exchanged blow for blow, neither one of them causing any injury to the other.

Lunar lunged forward and feinted a strike to Shadow's left but shadow read it like a book and quickly blocked the attack before countering by shadow traveling behind Lunar and attempted to stab him in the back. As Shadow swung down, a silver shield appeared and blocked the strike. Lunar spun around and slashed at Shadow's stomach.

Shadow jumped back before he surged forward and shield bashed Lunar who simply blocked with his own shield. Shadow then attempted to kick Lunar's knee but his foot was swatted away as Lunar kicked his foot. Shadow then jumped back and retracted his shield and riptide before he extended his hidden blades before he charged Lunar at full speed. Lunar quickly deactivated his shield which turned into his watch and capped Riptide before he pulled his daggers out and met Shadow's charge.

Shadow thrust his arm forward trying to sink his hidden through Lunar's chest plate but his arm was parried as Lunar saw the attack coming. Lunar then slashed diagonally across Shadow's chest and opened up a small cut on the Assassin's clothing but it quickly repaired itself.

"Not bad" Shadow said as he jumped back and retracted his hidden blades

"Not too shabby yourself" Lunar responded as he sheathed his daggers

Shadow then surged forward towards Lunar who copied this motion. Shadow threw a quick punch at Lunar's jaw but Lunar turned sideways and pulled on Shadow's fist making him over extend. However, before Lunar could land a hit, Shadow dropped into a shadow and appeared a few yards away his hands smoking.

"If it gets to hot let me know so I can let you out of the kitchen" Shadow said as he raised his hands to his chest and thrusted forward causing a torrent of fire to be launched at Lunar

Lunar raised his hands and a wall of water appeared out of thin air and deflected the fire.

"Shadow used Flamethrower on Lunar, it wasn't very effective at all" Lunar retorted as he willed the water to form into spikes which he then launched at Shadow

Shadow pulls a card off of a deck of black cards and swings his arm to the side causing the card to disappear and a black and dark crimson red broad sword to appear which he used to cut the ice spikes in half. Lunar summons Lunar's light into his right hand and the two charge each other again.

Shadow cleaves downward with all his might while Lunar cleaves Lunar's light upwards and as the blades connect, the reality around the two blades warps as all momentum stops. The two push harder into their respective blades and cracks start to form around the two blades as reality starts to break.

Shadow pulls back before he shadow travels a few feet away and swings his sword again as his eyes pulse sea green under his hood.

"Darkness' Wrath!" Shadow shouts as his broadsword flashes and a beam of black energy shoots toward Lunar

Acting quickly Lunar raises Lunar's light into the air as his eyes start glowing silver as he swings down, creating a crescent moon of silver energy which launches at the beam of black energy.

"Crescent Moon!" Lunar shouts as he finishes the move

When the two energy attacks meet in the center of the arena they push on each other, causing more warping effects of the fabric of reality around them as well as producing more cracks in the surrounding area. Suddenly the two attacks explode, sending dust and dirt into the air around the two combatants. However, in an instant the sound of blades connecting echoes through the arena and the dust is blasted away revealing two teenagers who look exactly alike except for a few facial differences. Lunar's eyes were glowing a Pure Silver whereas Shadow's eyes were shifting from Sea green to a glowing black.

The two broke apart and circled each other like a pair of wolves fighting for dominance. Shadow's eyes finally settled on glowing black as he charged, his broad sword raised as he prepared to cleave down. Lunar met the charge but at the last second cloaked himself and rolled away causing Shadow to look around wildly for his opponent.

Suddenly, Lunar appeared behind Shadow mid-swing with Lunar's light. Shadow rolled to the side before spinning around and facing Lunar before he let loose a torrent of flames at him. Lunar, being unable to react quick enough was engulfed in the fire as Shadow increased the intensity of the fire. Just then a black coin flew out of the fire and as it hit the ground it just disappeared as shadows formed around where the coin landed.

"Phoenix! I could use a hand!" Lunar shouted and suddenly a figure wearing red and gold armor with fiery wings flew out wielding a gold blade that looked dangerous and a red and gold shield that matched the man's armor

Phoenix quickly flew around and spotted Shadow and let loose a torrent of super-heated fire. Shadow backflipped out of the targeted area and pulled another black card from his deck of cards and threw it into the ground. At that moment, shadows gathered and a female assassin appeared and took stock of the situation.

"Umbra! Glad you could make it!" Shadow yelled and Umbra nodded as she drew her bow and notched a few arrows before firing them at Phoenix who simply knocked them away as he landed next to Lunar

"Now this is getting interesting! Lunar has called on his best friend Phoenix, guardian of the Hearth, and Shadow called his sister Umbra, former huntress of Artemis" The Author announced and Lunar drew his bow, notched an arrow and focused

Lunar's arrow started glowing silver and Shadow drew his bow and copied Lunar except his arrow gathered a swath of shadows around it and the two fired at each other. The arrows met in the middle and when they connected the surrounding area warped so much that a hole appeared in the fabric of reality just as an explosion occurred sending a small amount of dust everywhere.

"Ladies and Gentlemen the fourth wall has been broken! I repeat the Fourth Wall has been Broken!" The Author announced and the crowd roared with excitement

Shadow and Lunar charged each other as they both shouldered their bows and willed their weapons away. Then they both summoned Anaklusmos and the two met in the center and the hole in reality spread open even further. Lunar pulled back and swung across Shadow's chest which Shadow blocked and countered by swinging his sword straight at Lunar's head.

Phoenix took to the air and dive-bombed Umbra who shadow traveled away, forcing Phoenix to pull up and try again. However, both Phoenix and Umbra were pulled into shadows forcing them to leave the arena leaving only Lunar and Shadow to duke it out.

Lunar ducked under the strike from Shadow and swept Shadow's legs out from under him. When Shadow hit the ground, he dropped into a shadow and re-appeared standing upright a few feet away but wasted no time in charging lunar with a growl. As Shadow got closer to Lunar he dropped into a shadow but re-appeared in the same spot as Lunar spun around thinking that Shadow traveled behind him. Shadow thrust Anaklusmos into Lunar's back and it went through his armor like a hot knife through butter. Lunar dropped to his knees as Shadow stumbled back exhausted, but suddenly Lunar's Anaklusmos disappeared and Shadow felt a blade be thrust through his own torso as Instinct finished the fight before he shimmered and faded away back into Lunar's head.

Both combatants fell to the floor bleeding everywhere and their eyes locked causing both to smile at each other. Lunar raised his fist with his last remaining strength and Shadow copied this action as the two-fist bumped.

"Good fight" They said in sync as they used their last breath and their heads hit the ground as both heroes died

"Well, that was an amazing fight, I think they both deserve something" The Author announced and he snapped his fingers causing the bodies of the two heroes to disappear before re-appearing looking perfectly fine "Lunar, Shadow, you two battled each other epically, I will allow you to choose one item from the weapon rack below to use in your future lives, you may also trade contacts if you wish to request aid from one another in the future" The Author announced and the crowd cheered

Lunar walked up to weapon rack and picked out two hidden blade vambraces that held Aieon metal hidden blades. Shadow walked up to the rack and picked up a tomahawk and they looked at the Author.

"I see you have made your choices, do you want a way to contact each other for help?" The Author asked and Lunar and Shadow looked at each other before looking back at the Author

"Hell yeah" Lunar said

"We would op as hell on the battle field, so sign me up" Shadow said and The Author snapped his fingers

An Aieon metal coin appeared in Shadow's hand and a black card appeared in Lunar's hand.

"There you go, a way to ask for assistance from each other" The Author said as he snapped his fingers again and the two heroes vanished in a flash of light and the hole in reality repaired itself

"Thank you all for attending the Colosseum match tonight! The show is now over and you are allowed to leave at any time" The Author said as he vanished into thin air
