Jungkook breathed heavily putting down the weight bar he had just lifted. His heart was pounding loudly and the sweat was drastically dripping down his forehead.
He was unaware that he had an audience watching him lift. With his hectic internship, he had little time to go to the gym which was one of his favorite hobbies.
When he turned around to walk to the next machine he froze. Taehyung was right there among the crowd watching him. Had he been there long enough to see his struggling face?
He was still wearing his navy blue scrubs and his name tag although it was flipped so they couldn't see his name. His arms were crossed around his chest like he was seriously thinking.
Jungkook looked away heading in the opposite direction even though he had already done his workout with those machines.
Taehyung followed him and timidly tapped his sweaty back. He flinched a little when he felt his muscles through the shirt. Jungkook looked muscular, he just didn't know he was this muscular. One punch and he'd be done.
"What?" Jungkook asked, a little annoyed.
"I...I'm here to apologize for my childish behavior as you call it. Although, I really don't think it's childish at all."
Jungkook rolled his eyes and kept walking. Taehyung panicked and rushed behind him once again, "Okay! Okay! I'm childish."
"Very." He murmured picking up random weights.
"I brought you this as a peace offering. I realized that it's a horrible gift since you're working out and all." He said, extending his hand out to reveal a pack of marshmallows.
"Wow. Out of all the candies in the world you bring me marshmallows? They don't even taste good."
"Ahh! Take it back! I love marshmallows! I—hey! Where are you going?" Taehyung screamed as Jungkook speeded walked away into the locker rooms.
There was a slight headache lingering behind Jungkook's head. It could be the straining exercise he had been doing or maybe it was Taehyung bugging him.
Why did he like him again? He was so irritating and irksome. Had no respect towards him and had very poor social skills.
"I'm sorry!" He screamed as the locker door closed behind.
"You have nothing to apologize for. We're nothing. The stupid elevator kiss was nothing. Our bathroom talk was nothing."
"It meant something to me." He whispered.
Jungkook sighed, sitting down on the small bench. He kept his eyes on the floor in front of him, unable to look Taehyung in the eyes. He could feel himself melt at the sight of him and that made him feel weak.
"How do you know I was here anyways?"
"Your friend told me."
"Dammit Jimin."
"How do you know it was him?"
"If you give Jimin food he spills every secret."
"He seems to like marshmallows." Taehyung whispered.
"Jimin likes everything."
There was silence after that. It seemed to be forever until Taehyung stepped in between his legs in front of him. Jungkook swallowed down the nervous arousal. He could smell the hint of laundry detergent radiation from his scrubs.
"Jungkook, can I kiss you?"
His heart skipped erratically in his chest. It was thumping loudly against his eardrums. No amount of exercise could compare to the adrenaline he felt right now.
Taehyung grabbed his chin and lifted his face to meet eyes with him. His face was a deep pink too and Jungkook could tell he was very nervous.
"Are you going to ignore me afterwards?"
Taehyung shook his head embarrassed, the blush deepening. He stood awkwardly in front of him shifting his feet from one side to the next.
Jungkook nodded slowly, unable to decline his request. Taehyung hunched down to his height and gently pressed his lips on his.
His way of kissing was slow and romantic. Paying attention to every detail on his mouth. Almost like he was painting a beautiful picture and his lips were the canvas.
"I'm not very good at kissing. I've spent most of my life studying and trying to become an attendee." He admitted.
Jungkook stood up and now they were both the same height. The eye contact was long and very intense until Jungkook broke into a smile.
"I don't think my lips have ever connected so perfectly on someone else's."

"Dr. Min, I checked on our patient and she's feeling good. All her vitals and blood work are normal. Do you need me to do anything else?" Vernon asked.
"No, no. You can go ahead and leave. You've exceeded your shift by four hours."
"Are you sure? I don't mind staying."
"It's fine really."
"Thank you sir."
"You're..." Yoongi's voice trailed off as he spotted Vernon and Yuta walking down the hallway.
It was a painful sight. Jimin seemed so happy without him and that just made him realize how much of a shitty person he was. For trying to ruin his date, for trying to make him hold on even though he wasn't emotionally healed. That was shitty.
"Welcome." He murmured finishing his previous statement.
"Is something wrong Dr. Min?"
"I just have a stomachache."
Vernon noticed what Yoongi was looking at and he too winced. "I better go. I think I have one too."
Yoongi sighed, turning around while banging his fist on the counter. He murmured curse words to himself attempting to do the anxiety techniques Hoseok taught him for distraction.
"Okay, okay, five things I see. Uhh...door, paper, counter...fuck!" He screamed once he felt Jimin lightly tap him on the shoulder.
"I'm sorry!" Jimin screamed apologetically.
"You startled me." He replied still wide eyed.
"I didn't mean to. I just wanted to...say hey." Jimin smiled shyly.
"Hey. Umm...how are you doing?"
"I'm doing good and you?"
"Good. Good." He replied as bland as he could. Trying to not engage in the conversation was hard. Especially when he was craving his company.
"Oh well that's good." Jimin replied, nibbling his lower lip. He kept staring at Yoongi trying to analyze his behavior.
"Been pretty busy lately huh? I heard that you had this awesome bowel obstruction. Well, not awesome for the patient, but you know what I mean."
"Oh yeah. It's been busy. Yeah."
Jimin's heart sank taking the hint, "Okay. Well, I better get going then. You seem busy."
"Wait!" He said once he took a few steps.
"Yes?"
"I just want you to know that..." Hoseok's words came to his mind booming loudly. Give it space. Give it space. Give it—
"Hypothetically speaking," he began shoving all of Hoseok's advice to the very back of his head. "If you and I were to ever be intimate. Hypothetically speaking of course,"
Jimin's heart skipped a beat at the start of the conversation. The blush crawled up his neck expanding all over his face.
"I would like you—correction I like you the way you are. Just the way you are. I wouldn't want you to do any changes to your body because I think you're absolutely gorgeous. I mean everything about you is so stunning and if someone doesn't like you or your body then they're fucking insane."
Jimin looked down at his feet bawling his hands together. "Jungkook said something to you didn't he?" He asked, embarrassed.
Was it payback for accidentally telling Taehyung his location? He couldn't help it. He was a nervous and sad eater. If food was offered he'd speak.
"No, no, no. I don't know him." He replied confused.
"He's your intern too." Jimin reminded him.
"Shit. That's right he's the spokesperson. And, no, he didn't tell me. I just uhhh...we'll Yuta and you are getting pretty serious so I thought I'd give you my input. Not that you need it or anything. I just don't know how to keep my mouth shut."
"Thank you for your concern."
"I shouldn't have said anything." Yoongi whispered, shaking his head.
"I don't think I'm ready for that with Yuta."
Yoongi looked up at a timid Jimin who hid his face away from him. "I shouldn't have said that either." He admitted seconds later.
The silence was almost too long, but not uncomfortable. It wasn't until Jimin spoke up again that Yoongi realized how long they had been standing there.
"Dr. Nakamoto is probably looking for me. I'll see you around."
"Okay. Sounds good."
"Bye Yoongi." He waved while walking away.
Yoongi felt himself smiling at his sweet face. Three years ago he would've never known he'd find comfort in another voice.
