These Will Be Your People.

Jessica Maguire laid in bed with her eyes wide open. A new place and new school and her nerves were an absolute wreck. Jess and her brother James had just moved from England to Ireland due to her parent's separation because her mother was a scandalous one. One thing that made it better is they were living in the spare rooms of their Aunt Michelle and Cousin Jenny's home. Our Lady Immaculate College was the new school and start and Jenny reassured Jess that the rest of the girls would adore her. James she was not quite sure well because it was an all-girls Catholic school.

"What the bloody fuck are you still doing in bed you gimp?" Jenny yelled as she jumped on Jessy's bed. Jess looked at her wide eyed and shook her head. Jenny was often outspoken and to be honest Jess had no idea how she lasted this long at a Catholic school.

"You snake, I am nervous." Jess squealed. Jenny rolled her eyes throwing a pillow at her. She picked up the girl's uniform trying to model it in a flashy way.

"Now you know, you just can't wait to put this on." Jenny grinned. "If anything, you will get the attention from the ladies."

"Excuse me what?" Jess asked confused.

"It's an all-girls college, remember?" Jenny said once again refreshing her memory. A loud bang came from the hallway with a few utter choices of words and this time it was Jessy rolling her eyes. Her brother James appeared in the doorway looking just as frazzled as she was but mostly for different reasons.

"We really need to get going soon, we don't wait to make a bad first impression." James said looking towards his sister. James was her best friend despite being her brother. They had been through a lot together especially recently and regardless of how giddy or annoying he was at times she would not have it any other way.

"I swear, James. For someone going to a school full of girls, you are oozing with the confidence." Jess chuckled.

"I mean, why wouldn't he be excited? School full of girls. In uniform at that." Jenny winked punching James in the arm.

"Piss off, you goon." James smiled at her. The trio even though Jenny was there cousin they always seen her as a sister because of how close they were growing up.

"Alright, you lot give me some privacy so I can change. Get about this nerve-wracking mess of a day and just get it over with." Jessy huffed. James and Jenny joined arms frolicking out of her room.

Jessy was not happy about the uniform. She had worn a uniform before but hated it and how it presented her. Like these schools are all about being yourself but how in the world one can bloody express themselves in a uniform was beyond her. Plus, it was the most god-awful shades of green and blue Jessy had ever laid her eyes on. Pulling up her skirt she looked at herself in the mirror and put on the cutest pair of knee-high socks, her own little twist. She was sure one of the Sisters would give her shit about it later. Suddenly pebbles hit the window and, in this house, she was not surprised or in Ireland for that matter. People were wild here compared to back home. She approached the window, slowly opening it to see three girls. One of them was nose deep in a book, the other was slinging a licorice looking lasso in the air and the other was pointlessly dancing. These were Jenny's friends she was meant to get along with.

"Hey you!" The black hair girl yelled. "Climb on down here would you?"

"Climb? Like out the window?" Jess asked confused.

"Wendy stop, you are going to scare the poor thing." A girl with strawberry blonde hair whispered from her book.

"Oh Elen, she might as well get used to it." Wendy huffed. The dark-haired girl pointlessly dancing stopped noticing the nervous look on Jessy's face stepped forward with a smile.

"I think what these flutes are trying to say is, hurry up so we can fuckin meet you, yeah?" Aoife smiled at her.

"Yes, on my way down." Jess smiled leaving the window but quickly came back. "But not out the window, I am coming down the stairs."

Jess slung her backpack and dashed for the door. The group of girls seemed like some characters especially one Jenny would make friends with. Because if she was being quite honest the whole group was...different. Going for the stairs she preached to herself to not seem so nervous and try her hardest to get along with everyone. Jenny and James stood by the front door with their backpacks just waiting for Jessy's arrival.

"Are you ready to meet the monsters behind this door?" Jenny dramatically said covering the front door.

"They cannot be no more different than you, that is for sure." Jess laughed. James ruffled his hand in her hair and she quickly pushed it all back down in place.

"Stop it you twat, it will look like a bird nest." Jessy joked at him. James scoffed pointing to his curly mop.

"Have you seen this mess of a mop on top of my head?" James smiled at her. The door was suddenly full of noise. Giddy voices from the outside and the pounding of fists scattered the poor door. Jenny jumped in excitement throwing the front door open. The trio of girls ran inside and was obviously excited to see their friend and two new people.

"Jessy, James, this is my fucking hot mess of a crew." Jenny said. She opened her arms towards her friends as if they were her own little circus.

"I am probably the most normal one besides you it seems." Aoife said stepping forward. "How in the world did you deal with that wild thing your whole life?"

"Well, she is my cousin." Jessy giggled at Aoife's choice of words. "You sort of get used to it. I am Jessica, you can call me Jess or Jessy."

"I like that." Aoife smiled at her. Aoife was a girl of confidence and Jess could tell that they would get along.

"This is my human." Jenny smiled at Jess pulling Wendy towards her. "If you thought I was adventurous wait until we hang out with Wendy Bendy."

"Wendy Bendy?" Jess asked raising her eyebrows at her.

"Just a nickname." Wendy said smiling at her. "I apparently have lost a few marbles up top but haven't we all. Candy? I chewed from this end just so I could offer."

"No thank you." Jess politely said. "Just my nerves, afraid it would all come back up."

"Hey I get it, trust me. But with us in tow you won't be alone or go in the wrong direction or whatever motivational shit gets you all happy." Wendy chuckled. Jess liked Wendy she was different but a good different and brought happy energy to the group.

"You will get used to the craziness I promise." Elen reassured her. "Trust me, this lot is wild but in boring old Derry it makes it fun I suppose."

"That's for sure. There is not much to do around here. Lots of pubs, lots of unique people." Jess squeaked.

"Those two are the craziest." Elen jokingly whispered pointing towards Jenny and Wendy. Jess laughed at Elen's sense of humor.

"Trust me, try living with that one." Jess whispered pointing at Jenny.

"Alright." Jenny said loudly. "You all have met Jess. This is James. James, the girls."

"Hi, umm I am James." James said awkwardly. Being the only boy had got to be nerve wracking. It did not go without notice that despite the room full of personality he was trying his hardest to fit in.

"Oh, thank God." Wendy scoffed. "I am so happy you are a boy. For a minute I thought Jenny was lying and was afraid you were a really hairy girl."

"Wendy!" Aoife rolled her eyes looking at her friend. "You are not ugly at all James."

"Thanks. So, I am cute?" James stuttered as he looked up at Aoife.

"Oi, James, zip your trap, yeah?" Jessica looked at her brother speechless. That boy put himself in more and more awkward conversations than she could count on both hands. And his feet too.

"Well, shall we?" Jenny directed towards the opened door. "It is the first day of the rest of your life."

All the girls and James rolled their eyes at Jenny's sarcasm and started the walk to the bus for the new college year.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Our Lady Immaculate College sat comfy on top of a grassy hill. Everyone but Jess and James, had already been there for one school year but this year would be there first as a group. The weather was gloomy as usual, and it most commonly seemed to stay that way in Derry. James shuffled awkwardly not trying to stand out but that was becoming more and more difficult. Walking down the halls girls gleamed and some smiled at the sight of a boy.

"I feel like a sore thumb." James whined.

"I mean, we can get you a skirt. You would fit in quite well, throw some shadow on the lids, highlight your cheekbones. We can call you Janie." Jessica teased her brother.

The girls walked into the large auditorium. The stage was littered with several girls, teachers, and the famous Sister Michael. Sister Michael was like most nuns but at the same time she was not. She had the beliefs of a Catholic nun but was very unorthodox in her own way. She is very sarcastic and apathetic towards her job. She also despised the French and cinnamon. She was even caught doing judo on the weekends. The girls took their seats to prepare to listen to the endless ramblings. Especially the annoying Jenny's endless ramblings of comparing a student to a flower on the stage. Jenny deemed her annoying Jenny because she claimed she was the better Jenny. Sister Michael approached the podium causing some to laugh at her rather short stature.

"Some beautiful words there." Sister Michael scoffed. "Unfortunately, that is all they are, sentiments and words. What you have just witnessed is a piece of fiction. The reality is much harsher and far more brutal. New girls, keep your guard up, watch your back. Oh, and speaking of watching your back, I'd like to introduce James Maguire."

James blushed looking down at his feet. Jenny and Jessica lived for this moment and enjoyed the humiliation James received, that is what family enjoyed best. Wendy giggled causing Elen to bite the collar of her shirt to keep from laughing.

"Shh, poor boy is an absolute wreck." Aoife defended him.

"Make it more obvious, don't get your panties in a twist." Wendy teased her. "Just don't get caught snogging him."

"Show yourself, James." Sister Michael blurted into the microphone. James awkwardly raised his hand and chatter broke out amongst the room of girls. They were like pack animals hunting their prey. "James, as much as I want you to be the only boy here at Our Lady Immaculate...well times are changing. Boys come on out."

That is when the girl's lives would change. Out walked four beautiful, overly fucking confident boys. James smiled at the thought of no longer being the only boy. The first boy was the tallest and he had the bluest eyes and raven black hair. The second had his blazer thrown over his shoulder, probably the most confident of the group with a toothpick between his lips. The third boy, somewhat resembled toothpick boy but he had the brightest green eyes and chiseled jawline. The fourth boy had a mop of red curls and beautiful blue eyes and from under his curls you could sneak an earring he had snuck past Sister Michaels attention.

"This lot is from Christian Brother Boys college." Sister Michael sighed into the mic. "But they can't seem to stay out of trouble. So, with agreement from their teacher, they think a woman's touch will calm them down."

"I will show them a touch or two." Jenny chuckled eyeing the green-eyed boy. "Gosh, Jessica make it less obvious."

"I want to be that man's toothpick." Jess huffed like she used her last dying breath. Her and toothpick boy were sharing stares.

"And can we talk about baby blue eyes over there." Wendy held her chest. "Like hold me back before I let that bloke ruin my life."

"It's the red haired one for me." Elen giggled. "Can you just imagine running your fingers through those long, beautiful curls?"

"And before I give introductions," Sister Michael interrupted the girl's conversation. "I will not have a repeat of the Mr. Mullin affair."

"What's the Mr. Mullin affair?" Jess and James both asked in unison.

"Student teacher." Elen whispered to them.

"Yeah, two fourth years, tied him up and started to dry ride him." Aoife blushed looking at James.

"Yeah, but you got nothing to worry about." Wendy joked looking at Jenny. James raised his eyebrows in confusion.

"Because he was really good looking," Jenny jokingly giggled. "So, you got nothing to worry about."

"These are some of your new classmates." Sister Michaels voice boomed through the auditorium. "This is Cillian Murphy, brothers Joe and Finn O' Connor and Harry Walsh. Now boys I must warn you, if you don't want any trouble..stay away from that group."

Jessica could not hold it in anymore. She let out a fit of laughter seeing the look of shock on the faces of Jenny, Wendy, Elen and Aoife. They had told Jessica the whole way to school how slick they were. Sister Michael proved them wrong and she smelt their tricks and silly behavior right under her nose.

"I am bloody fuckin offended." Jenny said. "I am an angel."

"Yeah, from Hell maybe." Jessica teased her. She stuck her tongue out at her cousin and Jenny tugged playfully at her hair.

"Let us pray." Sister Michael closed her eyes. She began reciting the prayer before the start of the day. But the girls and James did not close their eyes and neither did the new group on the auditorium stage. This would be a remarkably interesting school year. "Amen. Ten minutes to get to first class. If you are late, detention will be delivered.

Groups of girls scattered through the auditorium. Most took Sister Michael seriously and Jess and James stood wanting to half ass take her seriously as well. Being new they were nervous. But all the girls and James stood there because the group of new boys were walking straight towards them.

"Am I imagining this?" Jess stuttered over her words.

"Wendy quick, how does my ass look in my skirt?" Jenny asked excitedly. Wendy gave her a thumbs up.

"Push your tits out girls." Wendy advised all of them but only two of them took the advice.

"Why are they so interested in us?" Elen nervously asked.

"Have you met us?" Aoife smiled. "I am kidding but I think they are lost."

The group of well-dressed boys stood before them. All of them smiling and all of them eyeing every girl up and down. For once, the girls were speechless. James chuckled at all of them except Aoife, who was laughing at them too.

"Well hello, you are a beautiful bunch." Cillian winked at all of them. Wendy nodded fast and looked at her friends for a push of courage to 'Mr. Baby Blue Eyes,' as she called him earlier.

This school year was going to be interesting.
