Also below is a list of eye colours that will corilate to what Effie is feeling that will be in every chapter from now on as helpfully suggested by pyschobaby1199!

Blue- sad

Red- Angry

Green- Disgust/ill

Rainbow- Happy

Neutral- Purple

Fear- Orange

Embarrased- Pink

Surprise- Yellow

Hatred - Black

Now on with the story!

I was sat in my room I had recently asked the TARDIS if she could find me a sketch pad that I could draw on. So now I was drawing inside said sketch pad and was drawing the TARDIS. When suddenly I was nearly thrown off my bed as the room shuck. I got up and ran towards the console room where I saw the Doctor running around the console with Rose looking at him humorously. I look to the them and ask.

"What on earth is going on?!"

"It's mauve." The Doctor replied. I raise my eyebrow as Rose asked.

"Mauve?"

"The universally recognised colour for danger." I walked up to the console and grabbed the monitor and looked at the screen seeing a strange container that we were following through the vortex. 

"What happened to red?" Rose asked.  

"That's just humans. By everyone else's standards, red's camp. Oh, the misunderstandings. All those red alerts, all that dancing. It's got a very basic flight computer. I've hacked in, slaved the Tardis. Where it goes, we go." 

"And that's safe, is it?" Rose clarified. 

"Totally." A small bang erupted next to us I raised my eyebrow and asked him.

"Do you wanna change your answer there Doctor?"  

"Okay, reasonably. Should have said reasonably there. No, no, no, no! It's jumping time tracks, getting away from us." 

"So what is it we're following exactly?" I ask. 

"No idea." The Doctor replied Rose and I look to each other in shock my eyes turning yellow. We turned back to the Doctor and Rose asked. 

"Then why are we chasing it?" 

"It's mauve and dangerous, and about thirty seconds from the centre of London."

After we materialised we exited the TARDIS and looked around we seemed to have landed in a back alley. The Doctor left the TARDIS and looked around slightly frowning and asked.

"Do you know how long you can knock around space without happening to bump into Earth?" Rose looked around before answering.

"Five days? Or is that just when we're out of milk?"

"Of all the species in all the Universe and it has to come out of a cow." I chuckled at this.  The Doctor looked around trying to see any clues where the object was.  "Must have come down somewhere quite close. Within a mile, anyway. And it can't have been more than a few weeks ago. Maybe a month." both Rose and I look shocked at this Rose asking.

"A month? We were right behind it." I raise my hand adding in.

"To be fair Rose from what I could see it was jumping time tracks so we're lucky we even got to the right planet" the Doctor pointed to me in agreement. Rose smiles at this, since I started traveling with these two I have also let my smart side out more then ever, which I am very glad about.

"How much is a little?" Rose asked.

"A bit." I raised my eyebrow asking.

"Is that exactly a bit?"

"Ish." The Doctor mumbled sheepishly.

"What's the plan, then? Are you going to do a scan for alien tech or something?" The Doctor looked at her raising an eyebrow.

"Rose, it hit the middle of London with a very loud bang. I'm going to ask." I see him pull out a small black wallet with a blank piece of paper inside. However, Rose looks at it and reads aloud. 

"Doctor John Smith, Ministry of Asteroids." I look at them both confused cutting in saying.

"Sorry, but that's a blank piece of paper" The Doctor and Rose looked at me surprised.

"Wait you can't see anything?" The Doctor asks, I shake my head. "That's very interesting but something we'll discuss later"  As we walk towards a door Rose comments.

"Not very Spock, is it, just asking." Either the Doctor doesn't hear her or just doesn't respond.

"Door, music, people. What do you think?" Rose crosses her arms. 

"I think you should do a scan for alien tech. Give me some Spock, for once. Would it kill you?" I laugh covering my mouth as the Doctor glares at me playfully. He then looks at Rose's shirt.

"Are you sure about that t-shirt?" Rose looks down at her shirt. 

"Too early to say. I'm taking it out for a spin." I look at it and shrug.

"Well, I personally like it Rose" This made her smile at me I suddenly hear a voice coming from above us.

"Mummy? Mummy?" I look up and see a small kid on a rooftop looking back at Rose and the Doctor I try to yell to them.

"Doctor? Rose? There's a kid up there!" I see that they have gone so I run towards where the kid was. Looking up I saw the kid was wearing a gas mask and was looking down at me. "Are you all right up there?" I ask but the kid just repeats themselves.

"Mummy?" I notice a fire escape staircase and begin climbing up to help the small kid down from the roof. When I finally got to the top of the roof I put my hands on my knees taking deep breaths when I finally caught my breath I saw the child was still above me so I looked to the kid and yelled.

"Okay, hang on. Don't move!" I look around for a way up when I suddenly see a rope in front of me I quickly grab it and pull it making sure it wasn't going to break. I start to climb but as I get a fair way up I hear the child say.

"Mummy. Balloon!" I look up to see that the rope was attached to barrage balloon and my eyes widened as it starts moving going higher in the air. I tighten my grip on the rope as I yelped at the fear of how high I was. I look around and talk to myself.

"Okay, at least it can't get any worse" That was when I saw searchlights begin to comb the sky and they light up German planes in the air with me. "Oh you have got to be kidding me!" As the time ticked on I felt my arms beginning to become tired I felt explosions getting closer to where I was when I suddenly felt my grip fail and I began falling. When I thought that was how my life was going to end I suddenly stopped falling. I looked around and saw a blue beam holding me in in mid-air. I suddenly heard a man's voice talk to me inside the beam.

"Okay, okay, I've got you." I look around asking.

"Who are you and how are you doing this?"  

"I'm just programming your descent pattern. Keep as still as you can and keep your hands and feet inside the light field." I looked around seeming to understand what he was saying. But weirdly enough I felt as though I had heard that voice before. "Oh, and could you switch off your cell phone?" I roll my eyes at this chuckling slightly. "No, seriously, it interferes with my instrument." I sigh and pull my phone out that the Doctor had given me.

"There is that better?" 

"Yes thank you. That's much better." I look around at the fact that I'm still in mid-air.

"Yeah, well could you please make it so I'm not floating in mid-air?" I heard him chuckle at this and replied back.

"Be with you in a moment." I looked down as I felt myself falling when a bright light blinded me for a second I knew my eyes were orange from falling so fast but when the light stopped I saw I was on a ship of some kind but I feel arms around me keeping me steady. "I've got you. You're fine, you're just fine. The tractor beam, it can scramble your head just a little." I look at him feeling dizzy I look at him and I see that his eyes widen in shock. Fear now going back and embarrassment as I realised that he must of seen my eyes change colour but dizziness was taking over and as I started to faint I heard him ask in utter shock.

"Effie?" When I blinked my eyes open I saw that I was on a bed in the space ship looking around I saw the man who saved me but he also knew my name my eyes turned orange I came eye to eye with the same man. "Hey it's okay you don't need to be scared" I raised my eyebrow.

"How did you know I'm scared?" He smile and held up a small book.

"Cause of the colour chart" I looked confused and got up out of the bed. 

"Colour chart?" I walked up to him. "Wait how did you know my name from before? Who are you?" He pressed a button and a co-pilot chair pulled out he pointed towards the chair.

"Please take a seat Effie and I'll explain everything" I sat down and he turned towards me and took a deep breath before breathing out rubbing his face. "Okay firstly my name is Captain Jack Harkness and Effie... I'm your father" My heart felt like it stopped and my world stopped for a moment my eyes turned a mixture of emotions but I leaned back into the chair before managing to speak.

"B-but how? w-where have you been?" He pulled out the small leather bond book and opened it handing me a picture it was my mum in her beautiful dress I saw her in when I was eaten by the demonic creatures. 

"I met your mum years ago at a bar I noticed that some guys were hitting on her and clearly making her uncomfortable so I went up to her and managed to get her away from them. We got to talking and met up everyday after that. I found out that she was the last of her kind as there was a time war and her planet was held hostage by creatures called the Daleks" My eyes widened slightly remembering meeting the Dalek and the Doctor explaining the time war. "Her planet was destroyed and she was lucky to escape after years of being with her we eventually decided to have you but when you were born that's when my bosses found out. You see I was a time agent and it was kind of against the rules to have a family or relationship as it would make us weaker. When they came to our house they decided that they would take you away from me and make it so I could never find you. Your mum didn't want that but when she grabbed you and tried to keep you away from them she was killed by the agents. They then took you away and used their vortex manipulators to a random time and did the same with me but then broke my vortex manipulator" Tears were now falling down my face after hearing about my mum and my dad I felt a hand on my shoulder as I looked up I saw my dad smiling comfortingly at me. "I'm sorry for not being there for you Effie, but I'm so glad I've found you now" I smiled at him and jumped up hugging him I felt his arms wrap around me hugging me back. After a few seconds we let go and he asked. "So how are you here?" 

"I'm travelling with these two people with a time machine" I saw him raise his eye brow. "Really I met them when I was in the orphanage I was raised in" 

"Well, I wanna meet them so lets find them" I followed him as he walked down the ship.

"How are you going to do that?"

"Easy. I'll do a scan for alien tech." I smiled and ran after him.

"Awesome"

We soon walk down a hallway of a hospital until we run into the Doctor and Rose when Rose sees me she runs up to me and hugs me tightly I hug her back.

"Effie are you okay?" the Doctor asks.

"Yeah I'm fine Jack rescued me" I said turning to him.

"Good evening. Hope we're not interrupting. Jack Harkness. I've been hearing all about you on the way over."

"I told him about you guys kind of adopting me from the orphanage" 

"And it's a real pleasure to meet you, Mister Spock." I smirk at this as dad shakes his hand and walks into the ward. 

"Mister Spock?" The Doctor asks. 

"What was I supposed to say? You don't have a name. Don't you ever get tired of Doctor? Doctor who?" 

"Nine centuries in, I'm coping. Where've you been? We're in the middle of a London Blitz. It's not a good time for a stroll." 

"Who's strolling? I went by barrage balloon. Only way to see an air raid."

"What?!" Both Doctor and Rose exclaimed. 

"Then I met Jack, my dad" I said smiling as I heard them both exclaim.

"What?!"

As we entered the room I saw Jack using his wrist tricorder to examine the patients.

"This just isn't possible. How did this happen?" 

"What kind of Chula ship landed here?" 

"What?" I looked up at this point remebering a conversation we had on the way here.  

"He said it was a warship. He stole it, parked it somewhere out there, somewhere a bomb's going to fall on it unless we make him an offer."  

"What kind of warship?" Rose asked him. 

"Does it matter? It's got nothing to do with this." 

"This started at the bomb site. It's got everything to do with it. What kind of warship?" The Doctor asked.

"An ambulance! Look." He pulled up a hologram of the chulu ship from his wrist device. 

"That's what you chased through the Time Vortex. It's space junk. I wanted to kid you it was valuable. It's empty. I made sure of it. Nothing but a shell. I threw it at you. Saw your time travel vehicle, love the retro look, by the way, nice panels. Threw you the bait"  

"Bait?" Rose asked raising one eyebrow.  

"I wanted to sell it to you and then destroy it before you found out it was junk." 

"You said it was a war ship." 

"They have ambulances in wars. It was a con. I was conning you. That's what I am, I'm a con man." My eyes widen at this. "I thought you were Time Agents. You're not, are you."  No one answered and Jack sighed and rubbed his face I walked away not able to take this just a few minutes ago I thought my dad was some kind of ex-agent who was trying to get revenge but now he was a con-man I hadn't noticed until it was to late that I had gotten closer to a patient who suddenly sat up and grabbed my arm. I looked over and saw no one noticed until my eyes locked with Rose's.

"Doctor we have a problem" Both Doctor and Jack looked up and saw Rose was looking towards me. I was trying to take deep breaths but I was already scared as I saw a scar form on my hand and I could feel pain start in my chest.

"Effie!" I saw out of the corner of my eye dad run towards me but the Doctor grabbed his arm. "Let me go!"

"There's nothing you can do now. I'm sorry" I pulled against the patient who suddenly fell back down on the bed letting go of my hand which I held tightly. My head suddenly banging pounding as my chest felt like it was tightening and constricting all I could remember was coughing and coughing when I felt something breaking out from my face before all I saw was blackness.

I blinked my eyes open and moaned getting up slowly I saw I was back on the TARDIS in my room. I heard my door opening I looked to the door and saw my dad stood there. 

"Hey glad to see your awake" I smiled and rubbed my head.

"What happened?" and so he explained everything that happened up to the point where he was going to be travelling with us.

"Hey do you wanna go get some food and we can just talk?" I nodded and got off my bed following him to the kitchen were Rose and the Doctor were there. We all sat down and just talked making me the most happiest that I have been in my life.
