"Don't you want to fall in love, loved, get married and have your own kids?" Aelin asks further. She wonders how Alice has always looks like she doesn't give a shit at all.

"If at all I really want to have kid, I can always foster the unfortunate kids. Right?" Aelin knows her cousin will avoid the question brilliantly. She knew that Alice has brought that topic a few times before this. Of how, she never intends to get into marriage, how she wanted to foster kids when she has stable incomes, of how she wants to stay old and die at old folks home. She wonders how this woman can be so carefree.  So.... psychopathic.

"Then I guess Alex won't have his chance."

"Who's Alex?" Aelin smiles upon seeing her cousin's reaction.

"A good brother of my boyfriend. He's a really nice person."

"Is he good looking?" Aelin rolls her eyes.

"He's handsome, really. In fact, he's a lot older than you, and crazy just like you. I'm sure you'll like him. Even if not as more than friend." Alice smiles, seemingly accepting Aelin's explanation.

"She's still saying something like she doesn't need a man to be happy and she can adopt a child as her kid?"

They continue to chat that night while hugging each other until they fell asleep in each other's arms.

"Alex, can I talk to you?" Jayce just barges into his brother's room and sits on Alex's bed. Alex who is at that time playing games, goes to sit opposite of Jayce, on the same bed.

"I'm going to meet Aelin in few months. Ca-"

"Really!? That's a great news!!! You have always wanted to meet her now uff-uff-"

"Shut up everyone will hear you at this rate!" Jayce closes Alex's mouth with his hand and scolds him in controlled voice.

"I know you're afraid, scared, but at the same time thrilled, excited, happy. You may feel upset and anger too, since it has been too long you didn't meet her. Because of our schedules, her classes, yours and hers internal problems, it is hard. Not only me, but everyone is happy for you." Jayce cools down as Alex speaks to him softly.

"But, if you don't want others to know, I'll respect that. I take it as you want me alone to go with you?" Jayce nods his head, and Alex ruffles his hair playfully.

"Ahh I guess I can finally meet my soulmate" Alex lays down on his bed before continuing.

"And meet the most anticipated person, especially you." Jayce smiles and lays down next to Alex.

She knew that he and Alex will be coming to her. Just like him, she's afraid, but at the same time she's excited. This has been too long. She wishes she can just marry him right away. And she knows, he feels the same way too, maybe worse than her.

She looks up, to see the face of the man she couldn't live without. Jayce stares into her eyes lovingly, softly caressing her long soft black hair.

Aelin wakes up quite early in the morning today. She decides to drop a call to Alice, to ask her companion to meet Jayce.

They continue to chat about Alice's dream, where she saw Jayce and Aelin together. Aelin isn't really surprised about Alice's dream. Alice has always had a special psychics. What she dreams always come true. There were quite a few situations where she mentioned about the dreams and it turned out to be true.

Aelin shakes her head, as she remembers about one of the bad occasion when Alice's dream come true. Not every of her dream is a good dream, some of it are bad, and when that comes true, Alice would always shut herself off. She doesn't shows her real emotion to people and always seems to be happy outside, so you can never know what's going on in her head.

Aelin then remembers what Jayce told her before, about how Theo seems to be asking about Alice. She chuckles and somehow impressed once again by how accurate is Alice's dream. She doesn't tell Alice about that yet, scared that Alice would turn him down. Alice was once a fan of that group, and she especially likes Theo. But once she goes into college for her degree, she doesn't have much time to invest in them, and somehow Alice seems to dislike Theo so much.

He seems arrogant now that they're famous

Is what Alice has always say about Theo. Aelin wants to make sure Alice doesn't hate Theo anymore before telling her anything about Theo. She doesn't want to ruin Theo's feelings, especially her cousin's feelings.

They continue to talk about Alice's dream, though Alice doesn't tell much about her dream to Aelin. Alice doesn't want to give so much hope to her, just in case her dream doesn't turn real this time.

There are a lot that she skips, which she thinks, it's better for Aelin to experience it in real life. So that it will be a core memory for Aelin.

Alice put down her phone after a long text with Aelin. She smiles as she remembers the texts again, and then her dream. She seems happy in that dream, and Aelin seems happier now that she's with Jayce.

"I really hope that day come fast"
