there are so many words that can be used in order to describe Calytrix Scrusso. one of them is social awkwardness. the gal claims that she can make anything awkward! well this also means that she's quite antisocial overall. it also means that she's quite distant and a tad inattentive. she often zones out of a conversation and wanders off into her own little world. Calytrix is also known and called a smol bean. why? because she's short and sweet and innocent.

she's basically the type of girl who understands the Shakespearean language without even knowing who the heck Shakespeare is. and that's saying something! Calytrix possesses an artistic soul too. she loves painting in her free time in order to express her emotions and she loves staying up late at night doing so. yup, she's an insomniac.

Calytrix is also quite shy and timid at first sight. normally, she would leave it to the others to talk stuff for her. some think she's mute but truthfully, she isn't. a good thing about Calytrix is her observant and analytical side, along with her sometimes being known as a walking lie detector. she's certainly an unforgettable gal unless you don't know her.

she's also, sadly, a frank introvert who is horrible at lying. no matter what, Calytrix can't lie for life. this just means that she's honest that's majority of the time. sometimes, though on rare occasions, Calytrix is a tad sarcastic. well what did you expect? the gal's not soft-spoken all the time after all. she also has an excellent sense of humour and a kind-heart. yep, obviously she's got a large heart of gold. she's selfless and generous, always putting others above herself.

• umbrakinesis
to manipulate both light and shadow equally. it is basically similar to the concept of stealing light in order to create more darkness. using this ability can cause disruption to any electrical appliances within the user's area.

• darkness manipulation
Calytrix is able to manipulate, create and shape darkness itself such as shadows. using this ability, she can just about cover almost everything in darkness. it can be channeled into a variety of things, both as an absence of light and a solid substance. one can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows, etc. however according to Calytrix, she has yet to unlock this power and go into depth with it.

• communication with the dead
now she can't exactly see or summon the dead, but just communicate with them. most of the time, according to Calytrix, this often occurs when she's asleep where she would often communicate the dead in her dreams...or nightmares, it depends.

Backstory |

Calytrix had a very average and ntypicak backstory, frankly. she had two very supportive parents, her father and her mother. now her mother was often the busy one and her father was more like the stay-at-home dad. this meant that Calytrix grew up being extremely close to her father. they would go to diners together, play board games together, go stargazing together, and many more! sadly when she was ten, her parents were on a verge of a divorce. until, well, her baby sister had been born. and that sort of reunited their family once again, if that made sense. so yeah, that's just Calytrix's boring backstory.
