"Harry, you were drugged. You didn't get drunk, that who- girl drugged you. She did this on purpose!" I find myself yelling by the end of the sentence. Frustration boils inside me, anger that I was foolish enough to believe everyone. Stupid enough to not trust him. So helpless that I couldn't support him.

After a few moments, he's had time to process. His mouth spreads into a huge grin. Not what I was expecting...

"Oh my gosh," he sighs, pulling me into a tight hug. "You just gave me the best news ever."

"Did you just not hear what I said?" I mumble against his chest. He pulls me away and flashes another grin, but then frowns. His thumb reaches up and wipes the tears I didn't know had fallen.

"Don't cry baby, we can put this all behind us now." He smiles, trying to cheer me up.

Instead, I push myself into his chest again. His arms instinctively wrap around me and I sob. "I'm so sorry Harry. I didn't trust you, and this horrible thing happened to you. I was so selfish and stupid. You don't deserve this."

"Hey, you couldn't have known. You just saw what was in front of you. It's okay, I would have reacted in the same way." A frown is etched into his face and I want nothing more than to smooth it out.

"I'm sorry," I plead again. He shakes his head dismissively. "Do you want to talk about it?"

He runs his hand through his hair, releasing his grip on me. "I don't know. It's weird that it happened, but I can't really process it, ya know? I think I just need some time."

"Yeah," I sniffle. "Of course. I'm always here to talk."

He pulls me into one last hug. "I was so scared. I thought you were going to leave me."

I pull away and cup his face. "I'm so sick of playing these dumb games, Harry. I want to be with you. As long as you want that too, I don't care who knows."

His lips crash into mine and it takes me by surprise. I immediately respond, kissing him with everything I've got. He licks my bottom lip, making me open my mouth. Our tongues dance for what seems like an eternity until there's a soft knock at the door.

"Hey, the boys are getting ready to leave," Audrey's small voice fills the room. We move apart and Harry gives me a lazy smile. Once he's out of the room, presumably to help them pack, Audrey stalks toward me. At first, I fear her judgment. After all, she was the one who told me to take control.

This is different though. For once, I actually feel like Harry and I could work. We are soulmates after all.

She surprises me by pulling me into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry," she whispers in my ear. I tense up, wondering if she's heard the conversation between Harry and I. "I was such an ass. That kiss was...wow. I can tell he really missed you and it's my fault."

I chuckle. "Silly girl, not even the great fates could keep Harry and me apart. But I'm done playing these dumb games, so you better stop interrupting me," I send her a fake glare which she sees right through.

"Okay, I would have felt so bad. Now come, they all want to say their goodbyes to you." She takes my hand and we walk out into the living room. Bags are scattered around the room, and I'm surprised they actually managed to pack in such a short amount of time.

"Ellie," Niall smiles. He doesn't seem to remember our earlier conversation, which I'm very glad about. It saves us both the embarrassment. Well, I don't mind, but I'm sure he wouldn't want to remember his dramatic confession to me. I think it's cute. "Take care, okay? And come visit us soon. We really miss you." He ruffles my hair as I pull him into a hug.

Zayn avoids eye contact, hinting that he remembers our conversation. I'm beginning to doubt that he was actually drunk in the first place. I skip over him, knowing I have to properly talk to him alone.

Liam smiles at me, his mouth full of food. I cringe before pulling him into a hug. "Behave," I warn. "Take care of your girlfriend too, okay?" He nods before grabbing his bag and waving goodbye.

The brunette comes into my view and I could literally kiss him out of happiness. I doubt that Harry and Eleanor would approve, so I hold back.

"Louis, you amazing soul. I love you so much and am forever indebted to you," I half tease, pulling him into a hug. Part of it is true. I'm so grateful for him and his persistence. Without him, there would always be a small part of my mind that thought Harry could cheat on me.

Now I know it's not true.

"Just glad to help a fellow color seeing friend out," he playfully nudges me. I laugh with him, agreeing.

"I'm going to miss you," I sigh. Louis has been a real friend. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends, but they're practically useless when it comes to Harry. Louis seems to know him best.

"Come visit soon, seriously. Eleanor would love to see you. You know Harry could arrange it in a snap."

I nod, knowing how true it is.

He grabs his bag and everyone heads out to Harry's car, except Zayn. I ask Audrey for some privacy and she happily walks out.

"Zayn," I sigh. "Man up. Take what's yours. Don't give yourself a horrible image at the expense of your happiness. At least try, okay? And keep me updated, I would always love to help."

He gives me a small smile. I always saw Zayn smirking, it's weird to see such a genuine smile from him.

"Will do Ellie. Hit me up if Harry's ever being annoying. I'll put him in his place." We both chuckle at his empty threat and walk out to the car.

"Goodbye boys!" I say one last time. Harry needs some alone time with the boys, and I'm not going to object.

"Bye boys. Thanks for coming over. Next time I'm charging you for rent!" Aud chirps before linking her arm in mine. We happily skip inside.

I'm so glad we had this little weekend. It ended so perfectly. I found out so much stuff that it's overwhelming, but I'm glad nonetheless.

~~~
I hear the door open and I sit up in the bed. Harry must be back from dropping the boys off. Before he comes into the room, I lay back down, pretending to be asleep.
When he's in, I feel the bed dip. His strong arms wrap around my body and he pulls me into his bare chest.
"God I've missed you so much," he whispers in my hair. "If only you were awake..."
My heart rate increases. I've missed him so much, even though he's been here. I feel like our relationship has gotten to another level.
I stir and turn to face him. Even in the dark, I can make out his facial features.
"Harry?" I mumble, my voice laced with sleep.
"I'm here," he nuzzles his head into my shoulder.
"Kiss me," I beg quietly. His head pops back up and he smiles before attaching his lips onto mine. I want to do more, I'm craving his body. Before I can sneak my hands into his hair, he grabs my wrists.
"Go to sleep baby, we have plenty of time for that. You're tired."
I pout at the rejection, but listen. I turn away from him and he pulls me into his chest again. I fall asleep with a smile on my face.
A shrill ringtone fills the room. I open my eyes and reach around for my phone, but can't find it. I sit up to get a better view and find it laying on my dresser. When I pull away from Harry, he groans.
I walk over and silence my phone before checking who's calling. I don't have a contact saved for the number, so I send the call to voicemail. Seeing the time, my eyes go wide.
I need to be at work!
Panic fills me as I scurry around my room. I quickly go to brush my teeth, with a new toothbrush, and wash my face. I don't have time to shower, so I tie my hair up and run back out. I grab the easiest outfit I can find and put it on.
When I walk out of the closet, Harry's sitting up on the bed. "What's wrong?"
"Work!" I say before slipping my shoes on. "I was supposed to be there like ten minutes ago."
"Let me drive you," he offers, getting up and putting on some clothes.
Normally I would object, but I don't have a choice today. I need to be there ASAP.
Although Audrey and I used to have similar schedules, we don't anymore. Part of the reason is my last minute trip to England. My boss wasn't too happy with the news, especially because I didn't give a 2-week notice. Now, she schedules me to her convenience, which sucks for me.
Harry grabs his keys and I stare at him in awe. My breath hitches as I take in his appearance. He's wearing a random t-shirt and sweatpants, but he looks amazing doing so. I'm kind of jealous of how hot he can look, especially with no effort.
"Quit ogling and let's go," he teases, heading out the door. I hide my smile as I meet him at his car.
He finally pulls into the mall and I sigh. I don't want to work another shift, I'm just not in the mood.
"You know this wouldn't be a problem if you...." Harry begins.
"Yeah yeah," I sigh. "I can't not work Harry. I can't always depend on you."
Amusement takes over his face. "I was gonna say this wouldn't be a problem if you knew how to drive..."
My cheeks heat up with embarrassment. "Ah."
He chuckles as I hastily scramble to get out the car. Before I can open the door, Harry presses down on the lock.
"Harry I'm going to be late..." I groan.
He puckers his lips and taps them with his index finger. I roll my eyes and kiss him on the cheek instead. I use his brief shock to unlock the door and scoot out of the car.
If he was actually dressed, I know he would follow me into the mall until I kissed him.
He rolls down his window, presumably to give me a piece of his mind. "Pick me up at five!" I yell, never looking back. I can hear him scoff, but pay no attention.
I clock in and hurry to find some work to do. My eyes light up when I see Drew folding clothes. I grab a random stack and head over, purposely bumping into him.
"Drew! How have you been?"
He smiles and gives me a thumbs up. "I've been better. What about you? You're never here anymore!"
"Don't remind me," I groan. "I've been scheduled for weird shifts since my last minute trip. I think she's just taking her irritation out on me."
Drew laughs at my misery. "Hope you learned your lesson."
I roll my eyes and begin folding my pile. I wonder if I should bring up our phone conversation. The time doesn't seem right. I don't want to ruin this playful mood we have between us, especially because things have been so tense lately.
"So, I'm assuming you didn't know that Audrey and I got an apartment?"
He sheepishly smiles. "I know."
I frown at his response. "So then why haven't you come visit yet?"
"I don't know," he shrugs. "You know, most normal people have to be invited to a place before they go."
"Okay," I snort. "We aren't vampires Drew."
He laughs at my snide remark and I'm glad the conversation is still light.
"How are things between you and her?" I anxiously wait for his response.
"I haven't called her yet..." he sighs, pausing his work. "I'm scared. I don't want to let my guard down around her. I don't know her. What if she's not what I hope she is?"
"I've been there Drew. Honestly, you just need hope. That's what I did with Harry, and look how that turned out. We're finally happy." A content smile finds its way to my face. "Besides, I know her and she's more than amazing.  She wouldn't be my best friend if she wasn't. Just try, okay?"
A silence sets in between us as he thinks over my words.
"Besides, I'm not going to marry you if you're still thirty and single. I met my end of the bargain, now it's your turn," I joke, hoping to lighten the mood. He flashes me a small smile before carrying his neatly folded clothes to the proper section.
I mindlessly hum to the music and continue folding. A pair of arms reach for me from behind and I tense up.
"Thank you," Drew whispers in my ear. He pulls away from the hug and disappears.
"Hey Drew," I call to his retreating figure. "Come to my place after work?"
He smiles and nods, then goes to the stockroom, making me grin too.
Everything seems to be working out now.
