Hi, everybody!

Sorry that I may have gotten you excited about an update. 

I've been doing some thinking, and I realized today that although originally I liked the idea for Color of Love, I don't know if I want to continue it. I've just been reading some really great fanfics with cool, original ideas, and it made me realize this story does not seem to be going anywhere.

My first thought was to delete it and forget it ever existed, but for some reason, I don't want to part with Color of Love just yet. So we're sticking the label "hiatus" (which means I won't update it for a while) on it for now. 

I don't really want to focus on creating updates for you guys without my utmost excitement for the future events of the story. I will update it if I feel like it, but it will not be too often, so it's not officially discontinued.

This brings me to a more serious revelation of mine. Now, I know a lot of you stick with my stories because they're primarily Gray x Natsu, which is fine. But if I'm being honest, I'm sort of sick of the pairing. I don't watch or read Fairy Tail anymore, and I haven't in a few years. Now that I think about it, I don't know why I've lasted this long. 

This means that I will (probably) no longer write anymore Gratsu stories.

I hope you all choose to stick with me and my writing, because you all mean the world to me. Without you guys, I wouldn't have been so inspired to write all these years.

It's just... you know. Want to write things that inspire me, not necessarily because I know I'm going to get tons of reads. Because that doesn't matter to me as much as creating a story I am truly proud of. I hope that makes sense?

However - fear not! I will still be writing The Angel Uprising; if you haven't checked that out yet, it is on my profile. For now, I'd like to focus on that, and then when it's complete, move on to other fandoms and maybe branch out my writing style a bit.

I'm not giving up on writing, I promise!! Writing means the world to me, and I never want to stop. 

Sometimes it's just time to let go and move on.
