TW: Homophobic slurs

Tony's POV

My blood boils as I watch the security footage from Peter's room. Even more so as I watch that smart ass Hiro flip me off through the camera. Who does he think he is? Turning my son into a faggot.

I hear the elevator ding and quickly close down the hologram. The door opens to reveal my teammates, equally as angry as I.

"What the fuck did you do?" Natasha demands, her voice scarily calm. I open my mouth to speak but Steve cuts me off.

"We heard everything you said. How dare you say such things to a kid. As his father you are supposed to love him unconditionally, accept him. Not make him feel like a god damn freak." Steve's voice thunders around the lab. I have never seen him so angry.

"I am entitled to my own opinions and if you don't like it then leave." I snap, turning back to my project. I hear the footsteps to late. Steve grabbed the back of my shirt and slammed me into the opposite workbench.

"Listen to me Stark. We are getting the kid back and you are apologising to him."

"Or what." His intimidation tactics won't work on me.

"Or I will tell the world how Tony Stark is a fucking homophobic bully. Let's see how many people will love you then."

Bucky pulls Steve off me allowing me to breathe. He storms out the room, rest of the avengers in tow. The only person who remains is Pepper. Tear stains are evident on her cheeks. She looks at me with such a betrayed expression. Before leaving she mutters two words.

"Fix this."
