What William expected was to meet a young lady, possibly in distress or needing a case for him to figure out or something.

What he was not expecting was for himself and Albert to see a young lady with an unusual appearance and an even more peculiar critter on her lap.

Looking over her, he quickly figured that she's a grown woman, possibly in her early 20s. Her hair and skin tone implies a foreign background or an extended time of outdoor activity. Her facial features have a mix of Asian and possibly Pacific Island origins if he had to guess. She also has no ring on her hands, she's unclaimed. No make-up on her features either, so she may not be a prostitute.

Her eyes were especially unusual, since he's never since such a vibrant shade of purple. Almost like amethysts.

The suit however, he never heard a woman openly wearing one as its considered scandalous. But it was tailored for women, so it worked for her. It looked expensive implying she's not poor. And it also had an unusual badge he never saw before. It looked like a medal on a coat of arms with a sword and shield along with a circular object that's half red and half white, implying she's someone important. But the meaning of it escapes him.

Then there was the peculiar critter.

It looked to be a squirrel of blue and white and it had yellow cheeks. Though it looked adorable, something told him it would attack if provoked. It was also close to the woman so he guessed it was her companion.

Then there was an unusual bag with multiple pockets next to the bed. It looked baggy and it had a large strap meant to be put over one's shoulder. If he had to guess, she was some kind of traveler, and from the strange shoes, that had looked worn at the soles, she's done a lot of traveling by foot rather than carriage.

How...........interesting.

"I see your awake. Are you feeling alright? You had a nasty bump on the head." Louis asked as he checked her head.

"Ah, thanks. Um, how did I get here?" She asked.

"One of our friends, Fred, found you unconscious and brought you here. Though the critter insisted on coming as well." Louis explained.

"Oh, you mean Pachi? She is my best friend after all." She smiled as Pachi nodded and leapt in her arms.

'So it's name is Pachi? Or rather her. Must be Japanese.' William thought.

"Well, it's a pleasure to meet you. My name is William James Moriarty." William introduced himself.

"I'm Albert James Moriarty and the one tending to your head is our younger brother Louis James Moriarty." Albert said, as he noted that the woman did not react to his name or to be honest, their family name.

Usually women would be lining up to them and flirt with them. But since she wasn't she possibly never heard of them.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Leilani Hiroshima." Leilani introduced herself.

'So she's Japanese/Polynesian? A rare breed to come across here.'

"Well, were you traveling somewhere. I can guess, someone tried to assult you." Albert asked.

However, Leilani had a feeling she was not in Alola or even her own dimension any more. The Ultra Wormholes are unpredictable and some scientists believe they could lead to dimensions where pokemon don't exist, which is why they called Pachi a critter. She was about to say something when.....

"Leilani! Hey, can you let me out please? I can't find a signal! Bzzzt!" A voice got their attention from her bag.

"Oh goodness! I forgot him! Pachi, can you let Roto out?" Leilani asked her partner as she nodded and opened the big zipper.

The Brothers did not expect for a floating orange contraption to come out of the bag. It even had a face!

"Leilani! I can't find a signal or contact anyone at home! What happened? Bzzt!" It said in a panic.

"What is it, brother?" Louis whispered to William.

"Not even I have the answer to that, but this is getting interesting." William smiled.

"......" Leilani looked at the brothers and then sighed. "Guess there's no point in hiding it. If I have to guess, you never heard of Pokemon, hi-tech, or Alola, right?" Leilani asked catching the brothers off guard.

They looked at each other and shook their heads.

"Well, that confirms it........Roto, Pachi, we are in another dimension."

"This is not good. Bzzt."

"Paaaaa...."

That caught William's attention. Another dimension? As in a world different from this one? Astronomers have been looking over the stars and planets while searching for new discoveries, but this is something else.

"Can you offer any more proof that what you said is true?" William asked.

"Sure. My bag please." Leilani said as Louis handed her the bag, and she took out her pokeball belt. Selecting one pokeball, she pressed on the button making it larger.

"Jumpluff, come on out."

This time, they saw a blue spherical creature with small red eyes that has three puffs on its body; one on top of its head and two as its hands.

It was cute as it floated to Leilani in worry and she patted her head in reassurance.

"Well, I've never seen anything like this, I'd call it proof." Albert said in amusement.

"Roto. Can you also show them data for Jumpluff, Pachi, and yourself?" Leilani asked.

"Of course! Bzzt!"

Then Roto's screen showed a picture for each pokemon.

"Jumpluff, the Cottonweed Pokemon. The Evolved form of Skiploom, and the final evolved form of Hoppip. Despite appearances, Jumpluff are brave fighters, often protecting Hoppip and gardens they live in. It rides warm southern winds to cross the sea and fly to foreign lands and descends to the ground when it encounters cold air while it is floating.

Pachirisu the Elesquirrel Pokemon. It stores its own fur balls that crackle with static electricity together with its favorite berries in tree hollows to surprise thieves and predators. It makes this  electricity with pouches in its cheeks and shoots charges from its tail.

Rotom the Plasma Pokemon. It enjoys teasing and frightening people and Pokémon, often invades appliances and takes control of machines, allowing it to change its form.
It is said that a young male inventor's creation has caused Rotom's multiple forms to be developed."

Well, things have certainly gotten interesting.

"I have more than them, though some are a little too big for this room. Plus explaining them will be like teaching a school." Leilani admited.

"I see, well, I can tell you are probably still tired. We can discuss more tomorrow if you wish." William nodded. "I hope your recovery goes well." Albert added.

The two left as Louis gave a little bow to excuse himself.

Leilani leaned back on the bed with her companions.

"If we are here for a reason, I hope it's a good one." Leilani said with a small smile.
