I was flabbergasted at the person I was staring at. He did not look anything like the friend I knew before. I mean he didn't have that same brown hair he used to. His hair was now black, he was taller than he used to be and his body looked fitter and more toned than before. It was as if I was staring at an alien but despite this change he was still my best friend.I ran towards him and hugged him tightly. He definitely didn't look like this when he woke up the last time I saw him and when I felt him,he was more muscular,just as he looked.

"Kyle, how, why, what?".

Kyle laughed at me and told me he missed me and that he would explain everything but we would have to do it in private. He told the guy he was talking to that he was leaving then told me to follow him. I looked back at Z and she nodded at me as a confirmation to go with him. Kyle looked at the both of us and frowned. What's his problem?.

I followed him into a room that looked way better than the one I had in the West Wing and it also looked better than the one I first visited him in. The way Kyle moved quickly around the room with familiarity made it seemed that this was his room. "Is this your room?", I asked.

"Yes", Woah! The dude is living the life,I mean I love him but I can't help but feel a bit bad for myself,my room in the West was trash in comparison but it was better than nothing.

" Have a seat".He offered,I sat down on the couch as he sat across from me on another one.

"So I know you may have questions,obviously, so I will get to the bottom of every question you may have. So as you may know, I touched that mushroom back then in Mushroom land however after I touched that mushroom I could talk to the plants,we thought I got superpowers but so it turns out it was poisoning me in which it sent me into a coma to test me to see if I was worthy of something. When I was in coma,the mushroom brought back some painful memories and some illusions but I overcame them because of you everytime.

You were always there,even when I didn't know it, you were there guiding me all along. Which is why I had to win, for you. I knew I couldn't leave you here with all these people. So I was determined to beat all the trials to come back to you. I got to talk to my future self who told me some things about this place and about you.

These people Fran are not who you think they are. They are planning something major and you are going to be a big part of it. You can't trust them, especially that girl you seem to be falling for."

"Who Z?, don't worry, she's cool."

"Don't you get it Francis, once they find out you are the chosen one, they are going to put you in prison or do God knows what."

"Kyle, what are you talking about?, I'm the chosen one for what?".

" You are the bridge Fran, for both worlds and if the kingdom finds out, I don't know what they'll do to you, but my future self told me to protect you at all costs because our future depends on it. You are the key to everything Fran. The start of a new beginning."

I looked at him in shock. I knew I was meant to come here but I didn't know why. I really wanted to find out what it was but now that he's actually saying it, I can't believe it.

"How am I the bridge?". I asked

" Your great, great, great, great, great grandfather got the gene, or the broken gene as they call it here. It remained dormant for many generations up until you. You activated the gene somehow, causing the Queen of our world to activate her powers. My future self didn't tell me how you did it but you did. You and our entire world was transformed and because of you we became stronger, smarter and more powerful and my favorite more physically and sexually appealing. However, this world hated that so they tried to kill you. They will do it now if they suspect you are the chosen one, you cannot trust any of them, especially her."

"Listen, I get it, I never trusted them from the start. I mean, they literally tried ushering me away the moment I got here but I trust Z, she's the only one here that made me feel needed, like I wasn't crazy and I feel something for her. I don't know what yet but I think I will soon".

" What is wrong with you, how can you not see that she's using you. Stop being so naive for once in your life. Listen to me and stop being so stupid." He yelled.

"I am listening!" I yelled back.

"You. Clearly .Are. Not!". He screams at me.

" Who gave you the right to dictate my life, telling me who to talk to and who not to. If you knew it all, why didn't you tell your mother and father exactly what you wanted, you weak pathetic little twat!", Kyle went to open his mouth to respond but I cut him off. " Maybe if you invested all that you knew in your life then your father would've wanted you", Kyle eyes gazed over as tears drew up in his eyes. I felt bad about what slipped out of my mouth, I didn't mean that however, it was too late to take it back. Then a look of anger drew upon his face.

" Shut up Francis!, just shut up. You knew how deeply that would hurt me, maybe because you're so inconsiderate that's why you never had anybody, at this point it might as well be that you don't have me either. You are a mean, weak, spineless, orphan boy. Maybe that's why your parents disowned you before they even knew you".

Once he said it an immediate look of regret came over his face. I was hurt that he would say that to me so I got up and walked out the door. I heard him try calling after me but I didn't bother turning around.

I kept walking, with anger coursing through me, I mean it felt as if I could literally feel steam coming out my ears. I held my hand in a fist. I just wanted to hit someone. I walked and walked until I saw Z in my view and I stormed past her as she leaned up against the walls, her foot resting on the wall, hand folded as she was dressed in a full black leader suit. "Woah, wait up lover boy. What's got you so angry?", she said, walking up to me. I halted in my step and turned to her. I was seeing red.

" I don't want to talk about it", as I went to move past her she grabbed my arm.

" It will not hurt to talk, I can be your listening ear".

" What part of I don't wanna talk don't you get". She had this conflicted look in her eyes. She took a deep breath to calm herself.

" Okay, I get it, I get what it feels like to be angry but it's best if you talk about it. If it makes you feel any better I have somewhere we can go if you want to cool off". I thought for a minute, then I said." Fine, where do you want to go, Princess?".

" To Illian Waterfall".

" Where is that? ",She smiled then said. " The faster we move the faster we get there".

The next thing I knew, I was sitting in front of a river that had a huge cliff with a waterfall going down it. The impression it gave was as if someone was traveling down that fall really fast and they were going to fall to their death, it reminded me of Sinagara Falls back on Ogore Thelea. Sitting across from me on a rock was Z, staring into the water. She told me there was something behind the falls, however, I could not see it because it was hard for my eyes to pick up. I looked upon the ground to see plants swaying in a frantic way. It seemed exciting as if it heard great news. I looked up to see things that resembled butterflies moving from plants to plants. All these too had a bioluminescent glow.

The ambiance of this place gave the feeling of tranquility and I felt at home especially with Z sitting next to me looking so beautiful. I could feel myself becoming calm as I opened up to speak.

"Kyle and I had a fight", Z turned to me, not looking shocked at all, in fact it looked as if she knew.

" I figured, I saw you storming out of there angrily but don't worry even perfect marriages have problems", I picked up a pebble to throw at her. She laughed as she dodge it" Hey!", I said then continued. " We're not married, if anything it seems we are now getting a divorce".

"I don't think it will lead up to that. I can tell that your friendship means a lot to you so don't give up on him just because of an argument that could be resolved easily." I looked at her in shock.

" When did you become so encouraging?". She looked over to me, then at the river and back at her lap while throwing a pebble in the water.

" I'm not all heartless, other-worlder, I feel things too, maybe way more than you", she had a sad look on her face. I got up and walked over to her and reached down to touch her but she swatted my hand away from her, turning her face away from me.

" Hey, look at me", she still didn't look," please?". She slowly and reluctantly turned her face to me. This allowed me to touch her face, resting my hand on her jaw. I tilted her head up to look into my eyes. " I'm sorry. I didn't mean to come off so harsh. I just didn't think it would make you feel this way. I will consider what I say to you next time just forgive me, please?".

" Whatever lover boy", she said as her face showed a slight brightness to her cheeks as she quickly walked away from me "I need to cool off", she quickly took off her pants and I turned away from her to give her privacy. I respected her too much to do that. I didn't turn until I heard a splash in the river.

I didn't see her for quite some time as thoughts came to mind. I can be a bit neurotic so I reviewed all the past events of today. Today was quite interesting.... And as my mind began to drift the waterfall sounded louder with every fall of droplet. I waited at the rock for her to rise out of the water. Just then she came up slowly, as the shimmering of her dark skin tone intensified with every waking moment. I was jealous, jealous of everything that surrounded her and everything that knew her being. I wanted to be the only one that knew her, felt her, saw her and touched her. As I looked on ,the only part I could see was her face but even that was worth the wait.

His golden eyes were locked on me, the way his gaze looked was as if he had a hunger and I too was hungry. I. Wanted. Him. I know I should stay away from him, he was broken. He would ruin me, I just know it. But I couldn't help but notice his perfect smooth skin that I would love to touch or his perfect hair that I desperately wanted to run my hands through. I wanted him. I needed him. And I was gonna have him even if it meant that I would burn down the whole damn world.

As her body slowly rose from the water, every little droplet fell from her skin and it was as if my eyes suddenly had perfect vision. I could see everything, from her shimmering skin, to every perfect curve, her long beautiful hair that fell to her waist and her hips that swayed as she walked up to me. I was locked on her, it was as if nothing else mattered ,only her. I wanted, no, needed nothing more. She stood in front of me, took my hand and brought it to her lips as she kissed it, she then released my hand and took hers to bring to my face. She tipped up until her face was close to mine then she slowly leaned in and kissed me. Hard and passionately as if she was starved. Kissing her felt as if I was in a drought for a long time and for the first time I had water. Fresh, pure, never ending water and there was no power in this world or the next that could separate me from this feeling.

I thought that my hunger would end the moment I kissed him but no ,it grew. It grew from a little furnace to a fire and it felt like the one I experienced as a child, that never ending heat, that one that could destroy lives and burn flesh down to bone. However despite this incredible heat I didn't stop. I grabbed his neck to try to get him closer to me, I kissed him like my life depended on it.

I was hot, I never thought a kiss could carry so much flame, I was burning and I'm afraid that if this river wasn't close to me, I would be ashes. All of a sudden I felt this weird feeling that made me pull away from Z in shock, My body was literally burning so I horridly took off my clothes and jumped into the river. The cool water felt amazing. I tried moving my body but couldn't. It felt as if my body was being manipulated as I was led to a place and it seemed as if it were the one Z was talking about, it looked like a cave. The place behind the waterfall. As my body was being led to that place I saw a blue glowing small basin that was surrounded by gold in the middle of the cave embedded on a rock and as I stared into the water a woman came into view. Who was that?
