Reunited

"No...No....No...." she muttered to herself, before feeling her self sinking into the force. She could feel the pathways of the man's injured body, the ones that were connected and the ones that needed to be reconnected. This was going to take time. But she didn't have time. If she was going to save his life, then she would need the Force to flow through her like never before. She gave fully into the Force, letting it sweep her away from reality.

Feeling dizzy, Ahsoka opened her eyes to find the man was slowly breathing. She saw two medics behind her and turned to them. "I've put him in a healing trance, so he won't wake up for a few hours."

One of the medic nodded as the other pulled a stretcher over to the man's body. Taria stepped forward and used the force to gently lay the man on the stretcher.

Ahsoka started to recover from her dizziness and looked up at Fives. He looked like he was about to faint.

Fives' face had gone from tanned to very pale. His smirk had been replaced by shock. He didn't know what to do but stare at the man. Ahsoka walked over to the clone and helped him to the floor. "I don't know what to say..." muttered Fives after a few seconds.

"Neither do I..." agreed Ahsoka, standing up. She watched the stretcher as it began to move away from her vision. Her eyes tuned back towards Fives, who stood up and walked over to her.

"This is the moment when you're meant to follow them and sit with him until he wakes up and then have an emotional reunion." Fives pointed at the man. "Now...go, Ahsoka."

Rolling her eyes, Ahsoka jogged after the stretcher that was heading for The turbo lift that lead directly to the huge medbay on the Cruiser.

Slightly smiling, Fives smiled at himself before walking off with Riyo and Taria, to discuss the coming days ahead.

Entering the medbay, the two medics took the stretcher into the nearest private room.

Two other medics appeared at the door and helped the other two medics roll the man onto the medcot in the middle of the room. They then reported their assessment to the two medics before walking off, past Ahsoka out of the room.

"Are you with him, General?" asked a male medic.

"Yes," replied Ahsoka, having a feeling that she might be kicked out.

"You can stay," responded the medic, "But do not distract Joe, she hates being distracted. She will insist that you leave, not matter what Rank you have, General."

Ahsoka turned to see a brown haired woman already assessing the man's vital signs and placing an oxygen mask over his face. She wore a serious face, complete with a wise, ancient forehead. Her green eyes immediately darted over to Ahsoka. "What are you looking at?" she snapped, still working, "Ben, why aren't you helping me, you lazy boy?"

"I'm not a "boy", you old hag!" argued Ben, now injecting some pale blue liquid into the man's neck.

"Don't call me a hag, boy!" replied Joe, now with a bright red face.

Ahsoka backed out of the room, leaving the poor, semi-unconscious man to listen to the duo argue.

After about 20 minutes of constant insults, the old woman huffed past her, making her way towards the staff room, while Ben walked off in the opposite direction, wondering why he was on shift with the old hag.

He stopped by Ahsoka. "Go in and sit by him." He gave her a small smile, "He's going to need a familiar face when he opens his eyes to a sterile, white room." He then nodded in goodbye and left Ahsoka to do what she wanted to do.

Quietly, Ahsoka made her way back into the room, where she found the man, still passed out, underneath a thin, plain white blanket. She looked at his tense, yet relaxed face. She could see the scar that went past his eye. His mop of brown hair was slightly longer than it had been since she last saw him.

Ahsoka Tano sat down next to the body of Anakin Skywalker, her former Master and close friend. For the first time in months she felt relaxed and at peace. For the first time in 3 years Ahsoka was next to Anakin. Her mentor. Her friend.

She wanted to close her eyes...just a short nap would do...

Panting like a Wampa in a desert, Anakin Skywalker bolted upright and began to look around. He took in a white room with a white floor, a white bed, a white bedside table, with his arm casually resting on it, and a white seat. The white seat had a snoring Togruta slouched in it. Ahsoka.  Had he crashed his ship, again? No...wait the last thing he was doing was going to help Mace Windu...Darth Sidious...

He couldn't recall anything after that. Where was he? Why was Ahsoka next to him??!

"Ahsoka?" He called out.

Immediately, the former Padawan, snapped to attention and looked directly at her Master. Tears of joy began to run down her face as she heard him call her name. She threw her arms around him.

At first he was confused why she was so emotional, but after her memories and thoughts poured into Anakin's mind he understood why. He placed his hand and his stump around her and embraced her. He could feel her crying. "It's okay, Snips, I'm here now."
