Eclipse
Commander Yularen stood to attention, in front of Rex's finest troopers, as the deadly Sith Lord walked in with a body slung over his shoulder. "Lord Vader." she greeted, " The re-programmer is ready.
" Excellent..." responded the Sith Lord, placing the body of Clone Captain Rex upright in a seat before strapping down his arms and legs. His eyes wondered over the clone captain, as he stepped away from the chair. He then sat down behind the control desk of the re-programmer and pushed a button.
A head restraint appeared form the side of the chair's head rest and slithered across Rex's forehead.
"Bring in our special guest...." ordered Vader, swivelling his chair to stare at the two clones. He watched as the clones nodded and disappeared from the room. " As for you Commander, I will see that your Father hears about this success."
" Thank you, My Lord." responded the commander as she adjusted her cap and brushed dust off her shoulder. " I will not fail you."
" I do not tolerate failures, Commander. " replied Vader, now looking back at the clone. " I believe that you will not fail me, ever." The Commander looked at him and nodded.
Vader looked at the bright room that surrounded him. Everything was bright, medical white, with wires tucked away neatly inside all of the tech, as well as all of the lighting from the walls and ceiling. His eyes wondered across the room. He hated this room. It was to light.
" Sir, one of the clones announced, " the prisoner you requested." Standing at blaster point, was a young adult. Long, greasy, black hair clung to her tired, pale face. Her blood shot eyes met Vader's and quickly looked away. She wore a torn leather tunic with filthy, almost unwearable leggings. Her bare feet marked the floor as the clones pushed her forward. Her half starved body recovered its balance as she gave a hard stare to the Sith Lord.
" Tell me where Ahsoka Tano is or I will end your brother's life." threatened Darth Vader, pointing to the Captain.
Flickering his eyes, Captain Rex took a fresh breath of air. His eyes adjusted to the light and darted around the room.
" Ah, nice to see you have survived that shock...." smirked Darth Vader, walking over to the Captain. His eyes stalked his old friend as if he were prey. "Don't bother moving unless you want another shock..."
Captain Rex just stared back at his old General. His blank eyes locked with the golden eyes of the fallen Chosen One. " You were meant to balance the force, not be consumed by the Darkside.
" You were family, Anakin."
Filled with hate and anger, Darth Vader's hand slapped Rex on the cheek. " Shut up, scum!" He turned to the other clones, holding the prisoner. " Bring her closer."
Being shoved forward, the prisoner looked at Rex. Her eyes met his with a small glint of joy, but it soon disappeared.
Sat behind the control desk, once more, Darth Vader pressed a combination of buttons.
Suddenly, two hatches, on both sides of Rex's head opened to reveal two very small drills arched out above his forehead. " Don't say anything, I promise that everything will be alright." Rex said, trying to reassure his little sister.
" I would advise you tell us everything you know, clone." Darth Vader looked at he prisoner, before turning back to the clones behind her. " Jesse, Echo, remove your helmets.
Following orders, synchronised, the two clones removed their helmets.
Scattered around the close shaven sides of the Jesse and Echo's heads were four identical scars. Their eyes stared blankly at Darth Vader.
Echo's once-soft-eyebrows had been replaced by what looked like two strange metallic implants. Above his right ear lurked a fresh, raw scar. The left side of his jaw had been ripped out and replaced by an external device. Half of Echo's face had been torn off and replaced by implants and other high tech bionics.
Clinging around the back of his head, Jesse had been hooked up two a thin band that linked up to a small implant in the centre of his forehead. Just like Echo, he also had a small scar lurking behind his right ear. Where his right hazel eye had once been, there was now a huge metallic structure forming around a bionic eye.
" What have you done to them?!" demanded the prisoner.
" I have enhanced them, clone." smiled Darth Vader, proud of his expensive work. " I have made them even better...much more useful." He paused as he watched her.
"E-Echo?" she questioned.
Echo didn't move a muscle. He just continued to stand to attention, awaiting orders from one of his superiors.
"Don't bother scum, they only take orders form certain officers." He eyed the Commander, standing in the shadows. " Now, back to business...
"If you don't tell me where Tano is, then I will get rid of your precious little Rex for good."
Whirr....
In the corner of his left eye, the Clone Captain could make out that one of the drills was closing in on him, fast. He eyed the prisoner to reassure her.
" Once both of these drills have dug into that clone's flesh, then he won't remember who he is." Snarled Darth Vader. " You still have time to stop all of this, you filthy clone scum.
" Where is Tano?"
" I won't tell you....Anakin." hesitated the prisoner, attempting to physic out the Sith Lord.
"Very well...."
The whirring sound entered the side of Rex's skull, tiny pellets of bone flung everywhere. Pain channelled up and down his body.
He screamed.
The drill stopped.
