Balance

"They are fulfilling their true purpose, Jedi Scum." snarled the Sith Lord, playing around with his lightsaber. Prowling around in a circle the Master and his fallen Apprentice eyed each other like tigers, ready to make their next move.

"This isn't you Anakin," replied Obi-Wan, attempting to persuade this dark incarnation of his beloved brother into the light. "Snap out of this whilst you still can. I know there's still good in you. You know that too, don't you? You used to be a hero; everybody, even me, looked up to you. Look at what you've done to yourself. There's still away we can fix it."

"I know there's away i can fix this..." He dashed forward. The fallen Knight clashed with the Ginger General one more. Their lightsabers' florescent glow illuminated their war driven faces. If one of them had to die tonight, then so be it.

"Sir," begged Sev, feeling weaker than ever. The sparky spirit in his eyes had banished. His golden eyes had lost their colour. "Save yourself. Forget me. You're more important than a meat droid."

"Don't be stupid, Sev." replied Jade, feeling the blood from her stub oozing down her arm. Yes she felt dizzy, but she didn't care. All she wanted was Sev to make it out alive, along with the others. Closing her eyes, she sank into the trance that Anakin had taught her. Hand placed on Sev's bleeding chest, she entered it - searching and reaching out to every cell she could see. She focused on his wound, letting the Force find every nook and cranny. Then it began to pull everything together; it began to reverse the wound. The bleeding stopped. New flesh began to cover this hole in his chest, sealing it. She opened her eyes; surprised that it had worked.

She coughed-   her breathing shallow and rapid. Her mind pulsed in pain and fear as she turned to see the fallen apprentice and his former master duelling to their deaths. Her skin was pale; she was week. The musty aroma of smoke traveling to her lungs wasn't helping. She looked at her stump of dry blood and loose flesh. She knew she wasn't going to last much longer. But she had to do something.

Obi-Wan was tiring quickly - his attacks and defences were becoming sloppy. Overpowering his former Master, the Sith Lord's aggressive strikes effortlessly began to take down the renowned duellist. "Anakin, listen to me." begged the ginger Jedi, one last time. "You were the chosen one, the person who was supposed to bring balance to the Force and take down this very thing you have become. Palpatine has twisted your mind, leaving you blind to the truth. You were apart of my family before all of this happened. Now you're just a mindless toy, being used to get what Palpatine wants." Vader's furious blade swung at Obi-Wan. narrowly missing his neck.

A flash of turquoise energy engages Vader's blade, forcing the feared Sith back a few steps. Turing around, Obi-Wan's tense eyes relaxed for a brief second. "Congratulations," applauded Jade sarcastically, trying to ignore her aggravating pain, "You've just angered the wrong clones." Standing along side the clone Jedi, Sev and the remainder of his squad raise their veteran weapons at the Sith Lord and his useful troopers.

"It would seem that you're more foolish than I thought, Girl..." replied Vader, ready to fight. His Sith eyes glare at his former Master, slowly regaining his strength. Obi-Wan' s lightsaber illuminates his bruised and battered face, keen to finish what he started.  Throwing him self directly at the two Jedi, Vader's blade locked into combat - keen to please its Master.

"Do not shoot to kill!" yelled Sev, firing at one of Vader's troopers. "Do not shoot to kill! These are our brothers." Sweating with tension, underneath his iconic helmet, turned to face one of Vader's mindless cyborgs, aiming directly at his healed chest. Holstering his gun, he kicked the cyborg in the head, knocking off the cyborg's helmet. Staring in disbelief, Sev shook his head. "What have they done to you...?"

The cyborg lept to his feet, immediately calculating the best way to kill his enemy. He had to live up to his Master's usefulness. He needed to please the Sith. He wanted to rip this traitor's head right off his body. He swung a punch, only to have Sev floor him to the ground and pulling him up. The violent cyborg attempted to gain the upper hand but Sev was quicker - he reached under his fallen brother's jaw and pressed upwards, knocking the cyborg unconscious.

Gently laying his brother on the ground, Sev pulled out his gun and shot at an oncoming cyborg, disarming him, as an injured clone floored the cyborg. Satisfied that his brothers were going to follow his orders to the letter, he turned his attention to finding a safe way out for everyone - even the unconscious cyborgs. His helmet began to scan for any escape points. There were none; Vader had planned ahead of them, something  that Anakin Skywalker was rubbish at. If they were going to make it out of this, they would have to do the one thing Anakin Skywalker had been good at - improvising. And Sev hated improvising. Getting rid of the thought of having to actually improvise, his attention turned back to the fight its self.

Blocking more than attacking was expected for a Jedi, but Obi-Wan had made an exception to attack more than block. Yes he was tired, and concerned about  his daughter's missing arm, but he knew that he had to win if any of them wanted to make it out alive. He needed to make it out alive because he had a fiancé that expected him to make it out of this. He had a duty to not only the Jedi but to the fallen Republic. This victory would mean that they were one step closer to restoring the Republic - with a decent, incorrupt government, minus a grey nut job raison for a Chancellor.

Red, blue and turquoise illuminated all three duellers' faces. Clash after clash and attack after block, Vader was finally tiring. And it was showing with his strikes starting to become sloppy, strike after strike, the father -daughter team began to over power the Sith Lord. "Get to safety Jade," barked Obi-Wan, seeing that his daughter's stub was violently leaking. "I can handle this from here."

"No." replied Jade, force pushing Vader into a stack of crates, causing them to crush the feared Sith Lord. "Now we can get to safety. "

Snap-Hiss.

Holstering her lightsaber she turned her attention to Sev, who was attempting to be a medic by patching up the survivors the best he could. She knelt down next to him. "How are you feeling?" she asked, feeling dizzy.

"More like, you need immediate medical attention." replies Sev, instantly trying to wrap a bandage around her stub. Rolling her eyes, the clone Jedi let her new ally gently clean and wrap the stub - by the time he was done, her blood had already drenched the mountain of bandages.  They stood up. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "And thank you - for saving me."

"You're my brother - I'd do anything to save you." Pulling  Sev in to a hug, her head began to feel faint, loosing her balance. "I-I-I don't feel...." Her sight began to become a blur, she couldn't focus anything....and then everything turned silent. Her worn and torn body became limp. Everything became pitch black...
