Amanda stood next to Gandalf as Orcs and Wargs appeared from holes within the mountain side. The dwarves of the Iron-hill instantly followed their lord as they rushed into battle. The elves stood still, not moving towards the battle which was about to begin.

" The elves.... Will they not fight?" Amanda asked the wizard as they watched the Dwarves form a barriar with their spears out. Gandalf pushed through the army of Elves as he looked to the king.

" Thranduil! This is madness!" Gandalf called as Amanda shook her head and ran through the elves. The Dwarves began to shout battle cries as Amanda rushed between the gap of Elves and Dwarves. She drew her twin blades from her hips and her whole body ignited in flames. Wings that were bigger than before spread out as she lept over the barrier of shields.

" Amanda!" She heard a scream over the growls and yelled of the battle about to comense.

' I will not let them fight this alone.' Amanda said to Fiona through her thought.

' Are you an idiot! You are going to get killed!' Fiona yelled to her. Amanda quickly killed off several Orcs as the elves then lept over the dwarves, joining the battle as well.

' I promise you I will be safe.' Amanda said as she sliced an orc and burned another. Amanda let out a roar and then a blast of fire emitted from her, killing all the orcs within a few meters of her.

(Back in the mountain)

" I'm going over the wall! Who's coming with me." Fili called as everyone yelled in agreement. They wanted to go and help fight the battle underneath them. Fiona watched as fire ravaged through the battle coming from Amanda.

" Stand down." Thorin ordered as Fiona's head snapped to him. She marched over to him and someone questioned what he had just ordered.

" Are we to do nothing while they are giving their lives, while Amanda is fighting a losing battle!" Fiona asked as she grabbed his cloak and made him look at her. Everyone looked to the battlefield with a saddened look.

" She, is a traitor! She deserves to die!" Thorin growled at his love standing before him.

" Don't you dare speak of her like that! She ne...." Fiona began but was cut off by Amanda yelling at her in her thoughts.

' Fiona! Don't you dare tell him! You must stay by his side!' Amanda yelled as she sighed.

" She done it to protect you from yourself. I am going and that is finally." Fiona growled as she turned and began towards the edge of the wall. But Thorin grabbed her too stop her from leaving.

"You are going no where." Thorin growled as he walked back into the mountain.

" I said stand down!" Thorin growled as they all followed back inside, unable to look at the battle below. Kili how ever did not move,meh watched as his loved one fought for her life and the life of others.

( Back within the fighting.)

The orcs where to many, even with Amanda fighting. This was a battle they would never win. Amanda saw that more orcs and trolls had arrived and we're trying to cut them off from the city. Amanda looked to Gandalf who was fighting as well.

" Gandalf! Head to the city!" Amanda yelled as he nodded. Amanda pushed her hand forwards causing fire to create a path so they could run towards the city. The men, Amanda and Gandalf all rushed through the piles of dead orcs and into the city. The orcs made their attack on the city with catapults on the back of trolls. They launched stones into the buildings, knocking them down as they went. Amanda dodged the falling rubble as bard rushed up to her.

" Are you alright?" He asked still amazed her a fiery form. Amanda nodded.

" Yes I am fine. Bard, where are your children." Amanda asked sounding like she had two voices. A really low sounding voice and her own.

" Oh no." He said as his face went pale.

" I will help you find them, come." Amanda said as she rushed through the streets with Bard. They shouted their name but there was no answer.

" Have you seen my children?" Bard asked the townsfolk that ran for shelter.

" I saw them in the market!" A woman yelled to him as he turned to Amanda with a desperate look. Amanda placed her hands onto his shoulders, her flames not hurting him at all.

" Do not worry, you and your children will get through this. This war of the city of Dale will be won. But there is something I must do to ensure Thorin, Kili and Fili live. Bard, you are a great father do not ever forget that." Amanda smiled to him with a nodded before turning to leave.

" Amanda what are you doing?" Bard yelled knowing that she meant she would will give her life from them. She never looked back as she rushed past Gandalf quickly.

" Amanda! Where are you going?" Gandalf yelled after her.

"To kill the beast." She yelled back at him as she took off running through the city.

Meanwhile...

(Thorin pov)

I walked along the gold hall where we attempted to drown Smaug in gold.

Gold...beautiful gold...how I love it....

But I heard thoughts in my head. Things that Dwalin, Balin, Bilbo and many others had said. I saw myself drowning in this sickness..

Then I see Fiona's beautiful, innocent face. My heart ached for her. For her smile, for her touch, for her voice. Is gold really worth more than her?

What a fool I have been.

I few away the crown in disgust and I shed my grandfathers robe then headed for the armory, taking a sword in hand. I will not let this go further. I will take down Azog once and for all.

I made my way towards the company who saw me and stood. Kilis eyes were in rage as he shot up and glared towards me

"You see all that has happened Thorin! Because of you is war raging outside! Our kin is fighting masses of Orcs out there! My lover could be dead for all we know! I will not hide, while others fight our battles for us!" Kili burst out in anger. I smiled sadly at him and approached him.

"You are right...we will not...not anymore." I chocked hugging him to me. He hugged me back tightly. I pulled away and patted his shoulder.

I looked towards the company. My eyes went to Fiona who refused to even look at me. Pain panted through my heart but I am to blame for hurting her so much.

"I know I should not ask you of this, especially you Fiona after the way I have treated you...but will you follow me...one last time?" I asked. I was met with silence but slowly they rose their swords and nodded

"For Erebor" Gloin smiled

"For family!" Fili and Kili said grinning. I smiled and raised my own sword "for The wolf and phoneix" I said smiling at Fiona. She looked at me and to the others who looked to her with pleading eyes. She stood and walked towards me. I stood still nervously awaiting what she has to say. I was caught by surprise when she grabbed my cheeks and pulled me in for a kiss. I held her tightly to me as the company cheered around us. We pulled away and she laid her head against mine "i will follow you always. I'm so glad your back" she chocked. I held her close "I just needed a push my love" I said. She smiled and rose her weapon "du bekar!" She cheered. I laughed and motioned Dwalin to me and told him of the plan.
