Howls were heard in the distance as everyone ran to the fields to avoid the pack. Gandalf stopped and from behind a rock as he spotted Radagast and Fiona in the distance, bursting out of the bush "ha ha! Come and get us!" Radagast yelled. He looked down at Fiona with worry "I hope you know what your doing young lady!" He said

"Don't worry! It'll make things easier for both of us and the company!" she yelled standing up. She leaned forward to the side as if preparing for a race "wish me luck!" She said before leaping off. It caught some of the orcs attention so they changed their course for her. Fiona began to run and immidietly she felt the speed. She grinned and leaped over some rocks, avoiding her predators.

Gandalf saw this and smirked 'I thought as much' he thought. The company watched in awe as Fiona ran from the Orcs in the distance.

"She's so fast!" Ori gasped

"Indeed..." Thorin said in shock.

"Just like before..." Amanda said to herself. She looked at Star in worry "head for the valley of the elves" she whispered to her. Star neighed and trotted away.

"Does she really know what she's doing?" Fili asked Gandalf in worry.

"Do not worry, She will keep them at bay, let's move!" Gandalf said

The Company rushes across a rocky plain. In the distance, Radagast is being chased by the Wargs and Fiona a handful herself. One of them crashes while trying to catch Radagast who had dodged under a bridge of rock.

As the Company runs across the plain, they see the Wargs not too far from them, so they hide behind the rocks. Thorin saw Fiona rush in the distance. He could barely see her for the speed she went.

"Stay together!" Gandalf ordered

Thorin ordered them to move so they ran further while Radagast managed to knock a few Orcs and Wargs off course. As the chase continues, Thorin stops behind a rock so that he is not seen by the Wargs but Ori starts to run out of the cover. Amanda quickly jumped forward and grabbed the young dwarfs sleeve "No Ori! Stay back!" She gasped pulling him to his brother. When the coast was clear Gandalf urged everyone to move on.

"Where are you leading us?" Thorin asked.

Gandalf doesn't answer he ran forward. Thorin rolled his eyes and followed him. As the Warg scouts chase Radagast, one of them stops and scents the air. The company take cover behind an outcropping of rock.

They kept silent as they heard the scout and his Warg appear on top of the outcropping, scenting the air while un sheathing his sword. Thorin looks at Kili and nods; Kili nodded and loaded an arrow. He noticed Amanda did the same.

Amanda and Kili quickly step out and shoots the Warg. The Warg and the orc on it fall near the dwarves, and the dwarves kill them. The sounds of their fight carry quite far; the other Wargs and Orcs stop chasing Radagast and Fiona as they hear roars and screams from behind the rocks. Fiona skidded to a stop "oh no" she whispered.

"The Dwarf-scum are over there! After them!" One of them yelled in the black language.

Gandalf looked into the distance. He knew that they were being pursued now.

"Move. Run!" He yelled.

The company runs through a grassy plain; Wargs begin to surround them from all from different sides causing the company to halt.

"There's more coming!" Kili yelled running towards the company.Thorin looked at him "Kili! Amanda! Shoot them!" He ordered. Kili kept shooting as the wargs closed in on them.

Amanda did the same and managed to hit a few wargs. She didn't see one of them leap at her until Kili tackled her to the ground "are you ok?" He gasped

"Yeah!" She said getting back up.

The leading Orc was closing in on Ori who shot a stone to it's face but it did no damage as he thought it would. Thorin pulled him back and armed himself until he heard a warrior cry. He was shocked to see Fiona leap over and tackle the beast the the ground and wrestle it down.

"Fiona!" Amanda yelled tackling the Orc and Warg with her.

Thorin held up his sword "Hold your ground!" He yelled

"This way, you fools!" Gandalf yelled from a nearby rock. Thorin snapped his head towards him. "quickly! Go all of you!" He ordered.

The company ran to safety down a slide that led under the rock with Gandalf. Amanda and Fiona got up and ran together but a Warg stood in their path. They armed themselves until a grey blur knocked it down and barked loudly.

"Kiba?!" Fiona gasped

"When did he get big!?" Amanda cried, stunned at the site of a very large Kiba.

"Kili! Fiona! Amanda! Run!" They heard a Thorin yell. Kiba shrunk down to size and ran for the cave with Amanda and Fiona in tow. Kili was beside them.

He and Amanda slid down first and Thorin had followed but before Fiona could reach it a searing pain shot through her waist. She screamed in agony and collapsed on the grass.

"Where's Fiona!?" Thorin yelled, realising she was missing

"She's still up there! Fiona!" Amanda cried trying to climb the slide. Horns were blown from a distance and out of no where an Orc rolled down the cave on top of Amanda "get this fucking thing off of me!" She screamed. Dwalin and Thorin pulled it off letting her move back.

"Elves" Thorin spat.

"There's a path. We must follow it" Gandalf said. Amanda stormed up to him in rage.

"We have to get Fiona!" Amanda screamed at him.

"She will be fine Amanda. Calm yourself" Gandalf said calmly

"How can I be calm when my best friend is up there! Probably hurt!" She yelled. She didn't notice her hands were turning red and her hair rose slightly.

"Calm yourself! She is fine I swear it!" Gandalf yelled. Amanda growled at him and calmed herself before storming up the path.

"I cannot see where the pathway leads. Do we follow it or no?" Dwalin asked

"Follow it, of course!" Bofur said following Dwalin

"I think that would be wise." Gandalf mumbled looking towards Amanda who looked like she had cooled down.

The Company begins following the path. It is quite narrow, and it is a crack between two tall cliffs. At times, the dwarves have difficulty going through. The pathway eventually opens out into an open area; there is a valley below. They looked in awe. Amanda smiled softly upon looking at a beautiful city below.

"The Valley of Imraldis. In the Common Tongue, it's known by a another name."

"Rivendell." Bilbo and Amanda breathed out.

"Here lies the last Homely House east of the sea." Gandalf spoke happily. But Thorin was not so happy with him "This was your plan all along, to seek refuge with our enemy." He growled.

"You have no enemies here, Thorin Oakenshield. The only ill-will to be found in this valley is that which you bring yourself." Gandalf spoke but Thorin was not giving in too easily and continued to argue "You think the Elves will give our quest their blessing? They will try to stop us."

"Of course they will. But we have questions that need to be answered. If we are to be successful, this will need to be handled with tact and respect and no small degree of charm. Which is why you will leave the talking to me." Gandalf said.

He wasn't convinced but kept silent as they arrived to the main courtyard. Gandalf greeted a young elf who informed the wizard that Lord Elrond was absent until horns were sounded. Thorin yelled for the dwarves to close ranks and put bilbo in a protective circle.

Bofur was the first to notice Fiona's dark blonde hair "Fiona!" He cried in relief. The company turned white upon seeing their companion. Thorin especially, who almost couldn't breath but Balin laid a hand on his shoulder to calm him.

Lord a Elrond dismounted his horse with Fiona cradled in his arms, barely awake and breathing. An arrow head was seen lodged in her hip and blood seeped out fast. Amanda immediately went to her friend "Fiona!? Fiona can you hear me?" She said placing her hands over her cheeks "Amanda?" She slurred

"I'm here honey...can...can you help her?" She asked Elrond who nodded "I will see to it that she is healed well. In the mean time you will all dine and rest" he informed the dwarves.

He went up the steps and Thorin watched with a worry in the pit of his stomach. He locked eyes with her and he heard her mumble his name.

"She'll pull through laddie. She's a tough one" Balin said to him.

"I know..." Thorin mumbled as he followed everyone inside...

"Tho...rin..." Fiona mumbled as she was set down on the bed. Her eyes darted round wildly in fear but when Elronds face came to view she calmed down "wh-where's Thorin...Amanda?" She slurred

"You will see him soon my dear. Close your eyes. It will be alright" Elrond whispered. Fiona nodded and closed her eyes as Elrond began to inspect the wound...but he didn't expect it to start closing itself.....
