"Ugh I'm going to be sick" Fiona coughed while holding a hand to her nose. Kiba whimpered and bolted right back out the foul smelling cave into Bilbos arms.

"Well it is a troll hoard my dear. Be careful what you touch!" Gandalf warned as most of them formed a single line down deeper into the troll cave.

While Thorin and Gandalf spotted some swords in a barrel, Amanda wandered to another part of the cave where she spotted something unusual.

An egg that was red as lava sat amongst some rugs and pillows. Slowly she set her hand on it and felt warmth seep through it and something like a connection.

"What's that?" She heard Fiona ask. Amanda held the egg to her "it's an egg...no idea what though" she mumbled. Fiona touched the egg but hissed and jumped back "ouch! That's hot!" She yelped. Amanda rose an eyebrow and took off her glove and felt it. Strangely enough it didn't burn her. She put it in her bag "that's really weird" she mumbled to herself.

"Let's get out of this fowl place! Amanda! Fiona! Let's go!" Thorin called. Amanda made her way out with Fiona in tow but something caught Fiona's attention. She bent down and brushed off some leaves finding it to be a sword. She picked it up and unsheathed it slightly, finding runes she could not understand. It was like a long curved sword, almost like the ones you see in aladdin ex. On the hilt was a wolfs head shape. She frowned in curiosity.

"Fiona? Coming lass?"

She looked up in fright, spotting Bofur at the cave entrance. She held the sword and jogged up to him. They left the cave and joined the others

"Something's coming!" Thorin yelled. He instinct fully nudged Fiona behind him, brandishing his weapon. The noise came closer and to everyone's shock a man riding a sledge, pulled by rabbits appears "thieves! Fire. Murder!" He yelled.

"Radagast". Amanda sighed in relief.

"So it is Amanda. What on earth are you doing here?" Gandalf asked

"I was looking for you, Gandalf. Something's wrong. Something's terribly wrong." Radagast stuttered. Gandalf looked at him in worry

"Yes?"

Radagast opens his mouth to speak, but shuts it. He opens his mouth again, but closes it again having forgotten what he was going to say

"Oh, just give me a minute. Um, oh, I had a thought, and now I've lost it. It was, it was right there, on the tip of my tongue. Oh, it's not a thought at all; it's a silly old..."

Fiona reaches over and pulls a stick insect out of Radagast's mouth "-stick insect!"

The dwarves looked disgusted as she set it on his hat.

The two wizards moved off to speak, which gave Fiona the chance to inspect her sword.

"Found something in the cave then?"

Fiona looked up and was surprised to find Thorin looking down at her. She nodded "yeah. But I don't know what these symbols are..." She said handing him the weapon. He unsheathed it and scanned the words "they look dwarvish" he mumbled.

"Wow that's so cool! I've always wanted to learn Khuzal" Fiona said in excitement. Thorin rose an eyebrow "really now? I could teach you sometime if you wish" he offered. He had to resist smiling when Fiona nodded her head enthusiastically.

"What does it say on the sword?" She asked. Thorin sat himself next to her and took her hand, placing it on one word "this one means courage" he said. Fiona nodded in understandment, trying to fight off the blush that was rising on her cheeks. He slid her hand over the next word "wisdom, love..." He mumbled glancing down at her. He loved the way her eyes twinkle with interest and he could smell a faint scent of pine from her.

He snapped out of it and stood "um ahem, do you know how to use this sword?" He asked. He noticed her blush and lower her head "no not really..." She admitted.

He sighed and took her hand and made her stand "you have to learn. Watch me" he said drawing out the sword he found. He showed her some basic moves and urged her to repeat him. She was doing fine until she lost her balance and fell over "ugh! Dam it!" She cursed getting back up. Thorin chuckled lightly making her pout "hey it's not funny" she mumbled.

"Your right I'm sorry. Here, you need to work on the stance" he said coming up behind her. He laid his hands over hers and moved her to a more sturdy stance. Fiona could feel his breath on her neck and shivered slightly.

"Like this, alright?" He whispered in her ear. He seen her nod and backed away slightly, feeling almost at lost for not having her in his arms.

Fiona swing the sword and stayed balanced this time, and grinned in victory "I got it!" She cheered. Thorin laughed and patted her shoulder "you did well. I'll teach you some more...as long as you teach me how to wield that whip" he said pointing to the whip that rested on her hip.

"It's harder than it looks but ok" she said. Thorin smiled and for a moment he lost himself in her blue eyes and felt like it was just them and no one else. Fiona could swear he was leaning towards her so she looked down at her feet shyly "we better get back to the others" she mumbled

"Ahem yes...yes let's do that" he coughed, walking away to the company. Fiona smiled to herself and jogged up to Amanda.

"Hey Amanda!" Kili called. He jogged up to her with his hands behind his back "erm I still want to show you some archery so I found this" he said presenting her with a bow and arrow set. The bow was a crisp white colour with gold metal caps on each end and he had picked up a quiver of white arrows with red feathers.

"Wow I love them! Thanks a lot!" She grinned while hugging the surprised dwarf. Kili chuckled and wrapped his arms around her "thought you might like them" he mumbled into her hair.

Suddenly there was a howl in the air.

"Was that Kiba? Or Was that a wolf? Are there--are there wolves out there?" Bilbo asked.

"Wolves? No, that is not a wolf." Bofur said slowly. They failed to notice a wolf like creature sneak up behind them in the trees.

it leaps into the midst of the Company, knocking down Nori. Thorin strikes and kills it using his elf blade .Another one attacks from the other side but Kili shoots it with an arrow, bringing it down. However, it gets back up, only to be killed by Dwalin with a swing of his axe.

Another one leaped towards Bilbo who yelped in fright. Out of instinct Amanda leaped over with a roar and plunged her blades in it's back, killing it instantly.

"Warg-Scouts" she gasped while pulling Bilbo out from under the Warg.

"Which means an Orc pack is not far behind." Thorin growled.

"Who did you tell about your quest, beyond your kin?" Gandalf asked.

"No one." Thorin said seriously

"Who did you tell!" Gandalf yelled angrily

"No one, I swear! What in Durin's name is going on?" Thorin demanded

"You are being hunted." Gandalf sighed. The dwarves looked at each other in worry "we have to get out of here" Dwalin said.

"We can't! We have no ponies; they bolted, only this ones here!." Ori called from where the ponies were left last. He had star following behind him.

"I'll draw them off." Radagast said jumping on his sled. Gandalf looked at his old friend in worry "These are Gundabad Wargs; they will outrun you." He warned. Radagast smirked "These are Rhosgobel Rabbits; I'd like to see them try." He said proudly.

"I can help!" Fiona said causing an up roar with the dwarves "are you mad woman! You'll get killed!" Dori protested

"He's right lass it's too dangerous" Dwalin said but Fiona ignored them and jumped on the sledge with Radagast

"Fiona! I won't allow this!" Thorin growled.

"He's right Fiona I can't let you" Amanda said in warning. But Fiona stood firm on the sledge. She looked straight at Amanda.

"please trust me on this. I know what I'm doing" she said pleadingly to Amanda who stared at her. She knew she could trust her friend instincts and sighed "you better stay alive" she warned

Fiona smiled and nodded to Radagast who took off.

"Why did you let her got! She will get hurt!" Thorin roared in Amanda's face but she held a blank face "I trust her Thorin. Besides, I think I know why she wants to do this" she said

"Why?" Fili asked

"She wants to test something....I'll explain later but for now we need to run....."
