Chapter 8: Finally Friday

**Sang**

Gathering my books at the end of my Business Management class I revel in the fact that it was finally Friday! The fact that it was a long weekend due to some meeting all the professors had to attend on Monday just made it all the better. I haven't seen any of the guys outside of class since Gabriel walked me back to my room on Tuesday. I still can't wrap my head around what the hell happened that night. He licked my lips! MY LIPS! Who does that? And then claiming my voice and hair as his? Who the hell does he think he is?

Walking out the door I notice Kayli leaning against the opposite wall waiting for me.

"Hey Kay, what are you doing here?"

"Brandon asked me to drop by his shop class for something. I figured since your class ends when his starts, I could knock out two birds with one stone."

"More like one dog and one bird. Hey Kayli."

I turn around and notice one of the guys from my class walking past us.

"Hey Axel." Kayli says to him.

"Anyway, back to what I was saying. I get to pick up my girl from class, and I get to see a hot guy work on cars. It's really a win/win."

"I'm sure it is." I say laughing.

We head out of the building and slowly walk over to the other side of campus where the garages are. Apparently his class gets out at 5 so there's no rush. The pit, as we call it, is where all of the hands-on activities and classes take place. There's even one for archery during the warm months.

"Ooo there he is." Kayli points him out to me, and sure enough he's the spitting image of his twin brother. Although I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of this guy either.

We stop just outside of the shop as he notices us. He says something to his friend who is underneath a truck and then walks over to us. I notice his friend slide out from under the truck at Brandon's departure, he's another scary looking one. What is with the guys at this school? Did they all take intimidation classes or something?

While Kayli and Brandon are talking I space out, looking around the shop while thinking about my options for this weekend. When my eyes spot a 2013 Indian Chieftain Dark Horse with some serious modifications I can't stop myself from blurting out, "Whose bike is that?"

I've been into motorcycles since I was a kid; I got really heavy into dirt bikes and ATV's while in high school. That's actually how I got my baby. A 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300, I won her when I entered this contest my junior year. I was super hype because I had just got my license the month before. The contestants were asked a series of questions regarding the motocross world. Needless to say I kicked butt, and that's how I got my Taylor.

"What do you know about bikes?" Brandon asked me.

"More than you think." Kayli replied.

"I know that that isn't an ordinary 2013 Dark Horse. I also know that whoever did the modifications put in a Four Stroke engine, V-twin, Thunder Stroke 111, with what looks like a 5 speed transmission, and a split system exhaust." I told him smugly.

"It's his." He said with a smirk while indicating over to his friend.

"Tell him I said he's got nice taste. I'd love to have some modifications done to my ninja, it's a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300, if he's gracious enough to share his mechanic."

"He's his mechanic." Brandon tells me, "I helped but the thought process, and getting all the parts was all North."

North huh? I look over to him to see him leaning against the hood of a Jeep looking towards us. North looks to be about a head taller than me, he's got muscles that scream danger and a gold hoop in his ear; yet another one I wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. I give him a small smile then turn my attention back to Brandon.

"Tell him I said he does nice work."

Brandon nods his head and then heads back over to him. Kayli and I turn around and head off to the cafe, I guess they finished their conversation before my little outburst.

"So what did Brandon want to tell you anyway?" I ask her once we sit down with our food.

"He was telling me about this game night they're having over at the Academy house. Wanted to know if we were interested in going. I told him we'd think about it. Gotta keep our options open."

"So we're going then?" I ask her.

"Of course we're going! Can't let him know that though."

With that, she sends me a wink and we bust out laughing. Again earning us disapproving looks from the other students. I start to blush while turning back to Kayli. Let's just hope this Academy event goes better than the last one we went to.

**Brandon**

After thinking about my little talk with Corey and Kayli yesterday, it occurred to me that I completely forgot to mention game night. That was the whole reason I was over there in the first place, well that, and to spend some extra time with Kayli. I told her to meet me at the pit while I was in my shop class so I could ask her in person. Yea, I could've just told her over text, but why give up the opportunity to see her in person? When I noticed her and who I'm guessing to be Sang walk towards the bay we were in I told North that I'd be right back.

"Hey girls."

"Hey." Kayli responds with a smile. Sang just looks like she's lost in her own head.

"So I meant to tell you last night that were having a game night over at the Academy house tonight if you're interested. Sang is more than welcome to come as well, she's friends with Victor and the guys right?"

"Yea, she's cool with them. We'll see if we can make it."

"Whose bike is that?" Sang asks out of nowhere. I know the only bike in the garage is the one that North and I built so I don't even need to look where she is.

"What do you know about bikes?" I ask her.

"More than you think." Kayli tells me.

As Sang goes off to show just how extensive her knowledge about bikes are I'm floored. Not even half the guys in this shop know all of the modifications we made to the bike just by looking at it. But this tiny little blonde girl laid it all out on a silver platter. She then precedes to tell me about her own bike, a Kawasaki Ninja 300. What the hell is a little girl like her doing with a bike like that? Although I guess if I've learned anything from the Academy, it's not to judge a book by its cover. This little slip of a girl has Academy written all over her.

**North**

I'm working on my Jeep in shop class with Brandon when he gets up and tells me he'll be right back. I finish what I'm working on and roll out from under the Jeep to see Brandon standing at the entrance of the shop with two birds. The one he's talking to is tall with dark brown hair, but it's the girl standing next to her that catches my attention. I get up off the floor and lean against the hood to watch the her. She's tiny with long blonde hair, standing with her hands wrapped around the strap of her messenger bag busying herself by looking around. Her eyes land on my bike and she tilts her head to the side like she's trying to figure something out. She never will; that bike is custom made by Brandon and myself, we took an old 2013 model Indian Chieftain Dark Horse and boosted the engine to the current Four Stroke, V-twin, Thunder Stroke 111, gave it a 5 speed transmission, and a split system dual exhaust. We gave it a glossy black finish and installed the front cover that's on the newer model. The blonde turns her head back to Brandon and says something to him, they talk for a little before he turns and points me out. The blonde turns her head to look at me and gives me a small smile then turns back to say something to Brandon. That was a little odd, normally people try and avoid eye contact with me and not only did she look me in the eyes...she smiled. Interesting. Brandon nods his head to the two and they turn around to walk out of the shop while Brandon walks back over to me.

"Who was that?" I ask him once he gets close enough.

"The brunette's Kayli, the girl I was telling you about in my Chem class. The blonde is her roommate Sang, I was inviting them to come hangout at the house tonight for game night."

"Sure they'll be ok with hanging around a bunch of drunk college guys all night? The small one looks like she's never taken a drink in her life."

He chuffs and responds "They'll be fine. Corey tells me they're not as delicate as they look."

"What would Corey know about it?"

"He's in a few classes with them. Kayli takes no shit, and if she hangs out with Sang I can guarantee that there's more to that girl than meets the eye."

"Yea, sure." I say sardonically.

"She knew your bike." he says with a smirk.

"Not a chance." I tell him, "We build that bike ourselves."

"Yea, and she could tell. Named the parts we changed and everything. Said she'd love to be able to do something like that to her bike."

"Her bike?"

"Yea, she's got a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300."

"What's a tiny girl like that doing with a Ninja?"

"You can find out for yourself tonight."

With that he walks away from me to start cleaning his area. I glance at the clock and see that time's almost up for class. I go to get cleaned up, all while thinking about this tiny blonde bombshell in all black sitting on my bike. I get an instant hard on. If her knowing about my bike is any indication, tonight will certainly be interesting.
