Chapter 57: Sweep Me Off My Feet
**Gabriel**
After talking with the guys the other night, I couldn't stop thinking about Owen's last text. If we even had a fraction of love for her. Does he love her? I think I might...has he told her? What would she think if one of us told her? Would she choose them? That's the only thing that ran through my mind. What I would do if she chose one of us, instead of staying with all of us. I need his to work, it's the only way I get to keep her.
So, what do I do? I ask her out, duh! I may not be sure if I love her, but I do know that I want to keep her in my life. And the only way to do that is to make sure she's happy with us. The only way to do that is to take her out, and show her how much she means to us. To me.
"Hey Trouble," I grin at her as she walks out of the classroom.
"Hi Meanie," she says with a small smile.
"Hey Gabe, what are you doing here?" Kota asks me as he walks out of the classroom with Luke.
"Came to pick Trouble up for our date." I tell him grinning.
I wrap my arm around Sang's waist and lead her out of the building with Kota and Luke following.
"Where you guys headed?" Luke asks.
"It's a surprise." I tell him when Sang looks over with a raised eyebrow.
I texted her earlier to ask if she was doing anything after her last class. When she said no I was immediately relieved. Even if she was mad at us for last night, it's hard to find time to date the girl you like in between school and her dating your 8 other brothers. I always wonder how she does it. I know that we can be a bit much to deal with, and I hate to think that we might push her away.
I often wonder how we got so lucky to find someone who fits each of us so perfectly. If she leaves... She's the only girl that I've ever dated that actually gets me. She never thought I was gay, she likes when I dress her up and do her hair, and she always pushes me to do better. She says it's because she knows I can. No one has ever believed in me as much as she does, not even the guys. I can't lose her.
Anyway, when she told me that she was free, I told her not to make any plans, and that I'd be picking her up after Algebra. When she asked what we'd be doing, I told her not to worry about it and trust that we'd have a good time.
"Come on buddy, you can't even tell me?" Luke whines.
"No, she might finagle the answer out of you someway between here and the dorms. Plus, her hearings like North's, I'm taking no chances."
"Meanie," I hear her mumble. Then louder she says, "How am I supposed to know what to wear if you won't tell me where we're going?"
"Easy, Trouble, you're not. I am. I'm your personal stylist remember? Trust that I won't have you looking a hot mess. Not that you could. You'd still look gorgeous in a potato sack." I tell her honestly.
"Like that episode of project runway?" She asks with a smirk.
"Yeah, but you'd look 10 times better than those girls without even trying." I tell her with a wink causing her to blush.
"He's right, 10. You have what my mom would call flawless beauty." Kota tells her.
"Sure do Cupcake." Luke interjects.
By now she's as red as a tomato and trying to hide her face in my chest. She may be upset with us, but at least she's not pushing us away. That's gotta be a good sign, right?
"Alright guys, let's stop making Sang change colors." I tell them, then lean down to whisper in her ear, "Although I have wondered just how far that blush goes."
"Gabriel!" She chuckles, hitting me lightly in my stomach. "A gentleman never asks a lady such things."
"Good thing I never claimed to be a gentleman," I chuckle.
"Ain't that the truth." Kota and Luke laugh.
"Oy! Fuck you. Come on Trouble, time to get you ready."
**Sang**
Gabriel all but drags me back to my dorm room, and as soon as we're inside, he walks into my closet and grabs my shower pack and my towel. He takes my bag and throws it on my bed before pushing the items in my hands and telling me to go shower. With a slight eye roll, I take my things and leave the room.
After showering and shaving, I throw my hair into a clip before wrapping my towel around me. When I get back to my room, there's a light pink dress laid out on my bed, and a pair of white flats over by my desk. There's a note laying on my pillow, and I chuckle while reading it.
Hurry up and get dressed. I'll be knocking on your door at 6:30!
Checking my phone, I've got about 15 minutes before he comes knocking. Drying off quickly, I plug in my hair dryer before grabbing the underwear he so graciously left out.
He's seriously good at this. Should he be allowed to pick out my underwear?
Shaking the thought out of my head, I slip on my underwear and pull up the dress. Zipping up the side, I admire the fit in the mirror. It has a sweetheart neckline with thick shoulder straps and a plunging V down the back that stops right before the lowcut bra strap. The skirt is slightly pleated and flowy, stopping right above my knees. Walking over to my desk, I slip of the flats right before the first knock on my door. There's still five minutes until Gabriel's due, so I'm surprised when I open the door and Victor is standing on the other side.
"Oh, hi Victor. What are you doing here?"
"Hey Princess," he greets. His fire eyes shine as he looks me over, turning to a bright inferno when they meet my own. "You look beautiful. Sorry to just drop by, I know Kota said Gabe was taking you out. I just wanted to put in my bid for a date once finals are over."
"Truthfully, I shouldn't even be going out now, but I finished up my tech final last night and I can do some last-minute studying over the weekend for everything else. What did you have in mind?"
"Last day of classes, you, me, and an Italian dinner for two? The Academy is throwing a party at the house that night, most of the guys will be setting up. We could go there after if you like."
"Sounds like fun," I smile. "I'd love to."
"Great," his answering smile blinds me as he leans in and places a light kiss on my lips. "Have fun with Gabe tonight. Don't let him keep you out too late."
"I won't. Goodnight Victor."
"Goodnight Princess."
I still have a smile on my face when Gabriel comes back to the door a few minutes later. He compliments me on my dress, the only way that he can. By saying I look "fucking fabulous" before doing my hair and makeup, which I still find a bit weird since it's a date with him. After grabbing a light jacket, we head outside and over to a nondescript, black four door car. Gabriel holds the door open for me as I get in and soon we're off.
We drive for about twenty minutes before pulling into a parking lot of a dance studio. As we walk in, I see couples in similar clothing all throughout the room. We blend in perfectly with my flowy dress, and his black slacks and orange button up.
There's a woman at the front of the room in a beautiful red dress that flows down to her ankles and a pair of black peep toe heels. Her dark hair hangs in elegant curls down her back, and she introduces herself as Madam Lavita, our salsa instructor. Gabriel grins at me as my eyes widen slightly.
He's signed us up for a couple's dance class! I don't even know how to dance! Well, I guess that's what the class is for, but still!
Neither Gabriel, nor the instructor gives me anymore time to freak out, as she starts the music and shows us the starting position with her partner. The rest of the night is filled with dips and spins, twirls and high kicks. And yes, there is a difference between a spin and a twirl, I asked.
I'm floating on cloud nine as we leave the studio, and drive over to a Mexican restaurant. In keeping with tonight's theme, Gabriel has already ordered ahead, and we try a little bit of everything. Tonight was absolutely perfect, and exactly what I need before finals.
