Chapter 43: Friday Fallout
**Axel**
"Si, you gotta get us out of this bet." I plead.
We're walking out of our Biology lab midterm and I'm pretty sure that nothing short of begging will get us out of this bet Raven got us into. I can't believe I let him make it. What the hell was wrong with me?
"Raven made the bet with North." He tells me. "So it's North that you'll have to talk to if you want this thing over."
"I have a class right now, I can't talk to North."
"Then send someone who can." He laughs. "You guys got yourselves into this. Get yourselves out."
He walks away from me chuckling and shaking his head. Going through our schedules, I see that Brandon has shop class with North at 3. Let's hope he can convince him to let us out of this mess. I shoot a text off to Brandon as I walk to Hughes Hall where all the English and Business classes are held.
Me: Brandon, try and convince North to let us out of this mess when you see him in shop.
Brandon: What makes you think I can convince him?
Me: He doesn't hate you. Otherwise, I'd send Raven to clean up his mess.
Brandon: Got it boss, I'll try.
Me: Thanks.
"Mr. Toma." I hear as I walk into the room.
I look up to see Owen standing by the desk.
"Mr. Blackbourne." I smirk. "Fridays aren't your days to teach."
"Professor James had a last minute meeting he needed to get to. I'm to hand out the tests from Wednesday and send everyone on their way."
"Lucky me."
He flips through some papers before pulling one out of the stack and walking over to hand it to me.
"Well done." He congratulates.
"Did you really expect anything less?" I chuckle.
His answer gets cut off by Sang coming in the room.
"Oh," She says as she looks up. "Hey Axel, Mr. Blackbourne."
"Miss Sorenson." Owen greets her.
"Sang." I respond.
"Am I interrupting something?" She asks, "Where's Professor James?"
"Last minute meeting." I tell her as Owen walks over to collect her test.
"Oh."
"Here's your test Miss Sorenson."
"Oh, thanks. Huh." She huffs.
"Are you unsatisfied with your results?" He asks her with a tilt of his head.
I lean over and take a look at her score. She got an A+, I'm guessing she even got the bonus questions right. Why would she be unsatisfied?
"Oh, no." She tells us. "That's not it. Just...I don't have anything to do. I've been busy all week and now I have nothing to do." She mumbles the last part to herself.
"Have you had lunch?" Owen asks her. "You could join me if you'd like."
"Don't you have to stay to hand out the tests?" She asks him.
"Only for the next," He stops to look at his watch. "15 minutes."
"Oh, well sure. Sorry if I'm not too much fun though. I've been running around like a chicken with her head cut off all week."
"How come?" I ask before Owen gets a chance to.
"Oh, just stuff." She evades.
I wonder if it has anything to do with their membership training.
"Well I guess I'll stick around." I tell them. "If it's alright with you Owen. I was gonna head back to the house."
"It's fine. That's where I planned on us going anyway. Is it alright with you?" He asks Sang.
"Sure. The more the merrier."
As more students come into the class, Owen deals with them and Sang and I stand off to the side. I wonder if her and Kayli are back on speaking terms. I really hate that she's going through this whole thing without even knowing why, and without Sang.
Once Owen hands out the last test, we all head out of the classroom, and Owen locks the door. We make it to the house in record time and see North and Silas on the couch watching TV.
"Hi North Star. Hi Superman." Sang says as she sees them.
"Aggele."
"Sang Baby." They greet her.
Owen and I walk into the kitchen and leave them talking.
"Hey Owen?" I ask as he starts taking out the sandwich fixings. "Do you know if Sang and Kayli have made up yet?"
"I'm not sure." He tells me. "I haven't seen her much this week, and when we do talk she hasn't mentioned it."
"Damn. I wanted to ask if she knew how Kayli was doing."
"You can still ask her." He responds.
After we finish making the sandwiches, we go back out to the living room, to see Sang sitting between Silas and North, looking all the part of a stuffed animal between the two giants. She's leaning against North, with her legs in Silas' lap. She looks about ready to knock out right there.
"Hey Sang?" I ask her, as Owen hands North her sandwich.
"Yeah?" She asks, as North hands her half, but keeps the plate on his lap.
"How's Kayli doing?"
"I'm not sure. I haven't really been in the room much other than to pass out." She confides between bites. "Why do you ask?"
"I haven't really talked to her this week."
"How come?"
"Mitigating circumstances." I hedge, which causes North to chuckle.
"I'm not here for Pre Law Axel." She tells me. "You're going to have to be a bit more forthcoming than that."
"We lost a bet." I mumble.
"I know my hearing is pretty good, but I'm a but wiped out. You'll have to speak up."
"We lost a bet." I say clearly.
"....I'm sorry what?"
"We lost a bet."
"Let me get this straight. You're not talking to Kayli because you lost a bet?" She asks skeptically.
North and Silas look as if they're trying their hardest not to laugh.
"Yeah." I sigh.
"To who? What was the bet?"
"It was a stupid bet." I tell her.
"I'll say. Now what was it?"
"Best two out of three on last Sunday's football games. Raven bet North that his teams would lose. Loser had to go a week without talking to his girl. Then the jerk kicked it up a notch to include the whole group."
She says nothing for a while, just sits there blinking at me.
"You made a bet to not talk to me for a week?" She rounds on North.
"Well, yeah." He admits sheepishly. "But Baby, the asshole was goading me-"
"You're grounded." Sang interrupts him.
"You're grounding me?" He asks her shocked.
"Yup."
"How do you even know about groundings?"
"Lucian and Gabriel." She says matter of factly.
"Of course." He mumbles.
"We'll discuss the details later. Now back to you." She rounds on me. "You're an idiot."
"In this case I have to agree with you. What are you doing?" I ask as she types something in on her phone.
"Saving your relationship." She tells me. "Or what's left of it. I just told Kayli. Good luck."
**Kayli**
"They did what!"
Thankfully I'm alone in my room, with no one around to hear my outburst. When I first saw that I had a message from Sang, I was relieved, thinking she'd finally forgiven me, only to find out that the idiot boys I'm supposed to be dating lost some bet that Raven made, and that's why they were ignoring me. Oh, if they think they can just get away with that, they better think again.
I slip on my sneakers and throw my hair up into a pony tail, grabbing my keys before leaving my room. I almost feel sorry for whichever one I run into first. Almost. Now, up or down?
I quickly think over what I remember of their Friday schedules, and decide to see if Brandon is in his room first. Even though Raven is the one that made the bet, it was football related, so chances are, Brandon was there as well. Axel was too according to Sang. How could he let him make a bet like that!? Oh they are sooo going to pay!
I get to Brandon's room and knock furiously. The muffled sounds of the T.V. that were playing have now been muted.
I bang on the door again. "Brandon, open the damn door. I know about the stupid bet!" I yell.
There's no way he's ignoring this.
It takes a few more seconds for him to open the door, looking all the part of a kicked puppy. I ain't buying it. I push the door the rest of the way open and storm into the room, turning to face him as he closes the door, his head hanging low.
"Well?" I ask as I cross my arms.
He puts his back against the door and blows out a breath. "Kayli I'm so sorry."
"You're sorry? How could you let him make a bet like that!?" I fume.
"Kayli, you know Raven. Anything I could've said would've just made it worse."
"Then you tie him down and tape his mouth shut!"
"I really didn't need that mental picture Kay." He shakes his head.
"Seriously!? You're making jokes about this!? Do you know the kind of week I've had? I was practically being molested by some magic freak and I couldn't even sic my boyfriends on him because they made a stupid bet to not talk to me!"
"Someone's been messing with you?" He grows, anger radiating through his body, causing him to shake.
"Too late to do anything about it now! Brandon how could you? You know my relationship with Sang is still rocky, plus midterms and my own deep seated issues, and you guys pull this? You had to know that this was a bad idea right!?"
By now I'm hysterical, my breathings out of control and I have a slight headache building behind my eyes. Brandon walks over to me and tries to pull me into his arms but I pull away. The hurt that flashes across his face justifies my rampage. Let's see how he likes feeling pushed aside.
"Kayli, baby, I am so sorry. We never wanted to hurt you. That's the last thing we ever want to do." He pleads. "Stupid Raven just couldn't keep his mouth shut."
"Stop passing the buck! Raven will get his. I'm dealing with you right now."
"Alright, you're right." He says as he steps closer to me. He takes my hand in his, and tightens his grip so I can't pull away. He gets down on one knee and looks up at me, regret shining in his sad blue eyes. "I'm so sorry baby, and I will do anything you deem necessary to make it up to you. Please forgive me."
Brandon's head comes up to my chest, but something about seeing this big, strong man on his knees, begging my forgiveness, does me in.
"Anything you say?" I question, skepticism lacing my words.
"Anything." He says suggestively, giving me an idea.
"Stand up." I tell him. He does. "Now sit on the bed."
Questions are racing across his face, but he wisely keeps silent and does as he's told. I stand in front of him after he sits down, and push his shoulder to get him to lie back. I place my knees on the outside of his thighs, straddling him, but not close enough to touch. Keeping my weight on my legs, I lower my upper body until it's over his, placing one hand next to his head on the bed, and the other on his chest.
"You're really sorry?" I ask in a low voice, sliding my hand down his chest.
"So sorry baby." He replies.
"And you'll never do something that stupid again?" I untie the knot on his basketball shorts.
"Never." He gulps.
His heart rate picks up, his breath becoming shallow as I pull out his thick length, already hard and pulsing. Guess angry Kayli turns him on. I'll have to keep that in mind for the future.
I slowly stroke his length and his eyes flutter close. His whole body relaxing under my ministrations. I pepper his face and neck with light pecks, relaxing him further. I pick up my speed as he starts to moan.
"You won't listen to Raven anymore, will you baby?" I ask seductively, my fist pumping him hard.
"No." He moans out.
"And you're really sorry?"
"God yes." He moans.
"I guess I can forgive you." I whisper.
"Thank you baby."
I spread the drop of precum over the tip, working it over his shaft, eliciting a sexy moan from his chest.
"You like that?"
"God yes baby. Don't stop."
I pump him harder as I nip at his neck, causing him to jerk into my hand. He's close.
"You like that baby?"
"Fuck, yes Kayli. Baby I'm close."
His eyes are closed tight, his heartbeat erratic. Perfect.
"I hope you enjoyed this baby," I whisper, before stopping my hand and squeezing the base of his shaft, stopping him from cumming. "Because this is the last time I touch you like this."
The venom in my voice makes his eyes pop open in confusion. I remove my hand from his shaft and pick myself up off the bed. I'm at the door when he finally finds his voice.
"Kayli, what...what was that?" His voice still husky with lust.
"That, was you learning who's boss." I tell him with my hand on the door knob, looking back at him. "And don't even think about finishing off. I get denied for a week? You get denied for two. Until those two weeks are up, you only get pleasure when I allow it. You can thank Raven for that."
"But you said you forgave me." He pants.
"And I do baby. I forgive you."
"Then why the s&m punishment?"
"Because I need to make sure you remember this the next time one of the others has a dumb idea. Ciao love."
And with that, I went in search of my next victim with a smile.
