**Sang**

I'm in my room getting ready for bed, waiting for Kayli to come home, when I get a call from Lucian.

"Hey cupcake."

"Hi Lucian."

"Have I ever told you how much I love hearing you say my name?"

"I thought you didn't like your name."

"Well, I didn't until you said it."

"Haha. That's so sweet."

"Well I am the bringer of all things sweet and fun."

"So I've heard. So what do I owe for the pleasure of this call?"

"I wanted to ask what time you were done with class tomorrow."

"My last class ends at 3. Why?"

"Would you do me the honor of going on a date with me tomorrow?"

"I'd love to."

"Great, I'll pick you up from your room at 4."

"Can't wait." I say with a smile.

"Goodnight Cupcake."

"Goodnight Lucian."

The next morning, I see that Kayli did make it back to our room. While we're getting ready for class, I tell her about my idea for a girls' night.

"Come on it'll be fun. I feel like I never see you anymore."

"Yeah, well those Academy boys have been taking a lot of your time."

"Yours too." I pout.

"Yeah, I suppose I have been spending a lot of time with them."

"So we can do this? Friday?"

"Yeah, Friday. Now let's get going. We can grab breakfast after."

After Japanese class, Sean pulls me to the side.

"Well hello Ms. Sang." He says with his flirty smile.

"Hi Dr. Sean."

"I was wondering if you had some free time in your schedule tomorrow to hang out for a bit."

"I'm sure I can find some time for you." I tell him with a smile.

"Just what I like to hear Pookie. I'll text you tomorrow for the details."

"You'd need my number first Dr. Sean."

"That was my way of asking for it Pumpkin."

I give Dr. Sean my number, with the promise of responding whenever he does choose to text me. I can't believe this is actually happening. Before I came here, I didn't have any friends. Now, within the last month I've gained 9. Along with Kayli and her boys. I finally have people in my life who want to be around me just for me. I gotta say, I didn't know what to expect when I got to college, but this has definitely surpassed any expectations I might've had. Things are finally looking up for me, and I couldn't be happier.

**Lucian**

I'm soo glad North let me borrow his truck. After that confusing discussion yesterday, I was a little worried he might say no. I know he likes her, why wouldn't he try and stop me from going out with her? Let's not think about it. The important thing is, I have a date with Sang! I hope she's back in her room by now. I'm not sure I can wait much longer. Glancing at the clock I see that I'll be a few minutes early if I leave now, she is only one floor up after all. After a very heated internal debate, in which I had to take into account of the food spoiling in the truck, I decide to risk it and head upstairs to get Sang.

I knock on the door and am greeted by beauty. She really is the sweetest thing ever. She's wearing a white t-shirt, with light blue stitching, and a flowy baby blue skirt and zip up hoodie. My first date with Sang, and she wears my favorite colors. At the tilt of her cute little head, I notice that I've just been standing here spacing out.

"Wow, Cupcake, you look great." I tell her, feeling a grin split my face.

She giggles while shaking her head. Man I could listen to that sound all day. Her giggles are the stuff dreams are made of, mine anyway.

"Hi Lucian, and thank you, so do you." She says with a smile.

"You ready to go have some fun?"

"Born ready."

We head downstairs and I help her get into the Jeep. I'm really glad I didn't ask for the bike today. I'm not sure how well that would've worked. We head out of campus and off to a little park by a lake, a few miles out. I help Sang down from the cab and go around back to get the picnic basket and blanket out. We walk down to the water, and set the blanket up close to the edge. I sit down next to Sang and start pulling the treats I bought, out of the basket.

"I hope you're hungry Cupcake. We've got sandwiches, fruit, and if you're good, maybe a little dessert." I tell her with a wink.

That adorable blush breaks out on her face, along with a genuine, heart stopping smile and I know I'm a goner. I pull out my laptop last and bring up Finding Nemo. I figured watching something fun and cute would be a great addition to our first date, hopefully the first of many. We eat and talk a bit while watching the sun go down. We take our time, getting to know each other. I can tell she's holding back something, I don't push her, just enjoy what she chooses to talk about.

I ask her what her favorite food is, and when she tells me it's seafood pasta, I decide to bring up my favorite line in the movie.

"Now Cupcake, you know what they say about seafood." I tell her.

"I actually don't know." She says with a tilt of her head.

"Fish are friends, not food." I say with a serious face.

Hearing her melodious giggles, sends me into a daydream about making her laugh when we're old and grey. I've never connected with any girl as much as I have with Sang. When we get to dessert, I watch as her eyes grow huge. She stares at the chocolate covered strawberries like I stare at cake. I feed her a bite and get lost in another daydream while watching the juice drip down her mouth.

What I wouldn't give to be able to lick up those juices. To trail a path to her beautiful pink lips. To take her mouth and explore it with my tongue. Mmmm, strawberry covered Cupcake.

"Lucian?"

Her sweet voice breaks me out of my daydream.

"Yeah Cupcake?

"I was asking if you wanted one." She says with a smile.

I look down and see her holding out the delicious treat in offering. I quickly take the treat in my mouth, making sure to lick her fingers as I pull it away from her. I see her blush as I chew and wink.

"Thanks Cupcake."

"No problem." She says in a breathy whisper.

Man, this girl is a walking wet dream. We pack up as the sun takes its final bow and get back in the truck. I drive us back to the dorms and walk her up to her room.

"Thank you for tonight Lucian, I had a great time." She gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek that leaves me stunned. Her lips are so soft. "Goodnight Lucian." I hear her whisper before her door closes. I head back down to my room in a daze. I think I've just found my soulmate.
