"Valerie truth or dare?" Carter asked. Valerie opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by a nudge from Brooklyn.

"Oh yeah" Realization dawned on her face. "Dare..." She reluctantly sulked.

"I dare you..." Carter looked around the room for inspiration and Stella tilted her head and whispered something to him. Carter cackled. "Okay I dare you, to try not to laugh for a minute." Everyone groaned that would be easy. "If you fail," Carter continued, "You have to call your mom or dad and tell them you are running away tomorrow with a boy you just met to get married. If you succeed, you have to write the name of a guy, in this room, on your forehead with lipstick that you would mind the least to take you out on a date."

Valerie stared at him in shock. "Who will try to make me laugh?" She asked.

"Everybody," Stella smirked. "Or would you rather do slap or kiss?"

"I'll do the dare," Valerie replied quickly, wringing her hands and taking a deep breath. "Okay I'm ready."

People did funny faces, weird voices, strange poses, and eventually, Valerie let out a laugh. She immediately covered her mouth and looked around in fear. Someone handed Valerie her phone and she dialed her mom's number.

"Hello?" she asked nervously. "Hey mom, I met this guy on the street and we're heading to Vegas tomorrow to get married." Noise on the other line. "No, I am not mental." More sound. "Yes, I am perfectly fine." Confused shouting and then mumbling. "Yeah okay bye mom." Valerie hung up. She rolled her eyes as the others laughed. "Okay Zoe truth or dare?"

Zoe got herself together. "Truth." She giggled.

"Ok" Valerie smirked. "To say, out loud, who you like."

"I'll do slap or kiss." Her eyes flicked to one particular boy. She picked up the bottle from Lauren's turn and spun it. She looked up. It landed on Liam. 

"Leave the room." Brooklyn squealed. "And your fortune will be decided."

Zoe did so warily looking at the grinning faces of the people around her. The paper was in Liam's hand and he was looking at her strangely. "Can I see it?" She asked. There was O's everywhere. A few x's but it was obvious what the answer was. Liam came over and slowly bent down, giving her a soft kiss on her cheek. When Zoe sat down in shock her fingers stayed where her cheek tingled.
