I spend the whole week completely oblivious to what his name is. I also try to avoid conversations with him as much as possible for some unknown reason.

So instead I look around the campus and try to study where my classes will be so I'm not lost on my first day.

"Luhan!" Xiumin shrieks as I enter the cafeteria.

He runs over to me and pulls me into a tight hug making it impossible to breath.

"Xiu- your squishing me." Is all I can get out before he lets go and apologizes.

"I haven't seen you all week! Let me introduce you to everyone." He chirps as he pulls me over to a table with others who are siting and chatting.

"Everyone! This is Luhan, he's new!" He says, getting everyone to lock their eyes on me.

"Hi." I shyly wave.

"This is Chanyeol, Taehyung, Choiseunghyun, Amber, Kris, Kai, Krystal, and Namjoon. There are more but they just left." He tells me.

"It's nice to meet you." I smile as I connect my hands together in front of me.

"Want to go get food? I was just about to when I saw you come in." He smiles and pulls me to the line before I can answer.

He ends up forcing me to stay and eat with them instead of taking my food to my dorm.

"What's your major?" Kris says as he rests his elbows on the tables and looks between me and his food as he continues eating.

"Engineering Physics." I say.

"Really, so, you can build things and stuff?"

"Well, yeah."

"He's building something right now, but it's top secret." Xiumin says.

"Top secret? You can't tell anyone?"

"I can if I wanted to but I want to keep it a secret until I'm done. I've been working on the blueprints for it since I was a sophomore so I think I could keep the secret a little longer." I say with a small smile.

"Have you made anything else before?"

"He made a pair of headphones." Xiumin answers happily for me.

"Really? Are they good?"

"Mhm, some of my friends were trying to make things to top the laptop I made. I had been working on the headphones and all this stuff happened and the first pair I originally made got fluoranium hexafluorostibanuide poured on them so those were destroyed, and so table, and some of the floor." I chuckle as they look at me like I'm a freak.

"Um, it's a really strong type of acid, it disintegrated the ear buds and made a hole in the table and floor." I say before they all make 'oh, right' faces.

"How did you get your hands on that?" Amber says as she gets into the same position as Kris.

"My friends made it."

"How do you make that?!" The say in shock.

"Fluoroantimonic acid is an inorganic compound and it's not difficult to make. It's an ionic liquid made by reacting hydrogen fluoride with antimony pentafluoride in a stoichiometric ratio of 2:1." I say, knowing there is no way for me to dumb it down any further. "You don't want to spill that, it's very difficult to clean up seeing it's a superacid." I chuckle.

"Welp, I feel stupid." Taehyung says as he sits back and rubs his eyes as I awkwardly laugh.

"What else have you made?" Kai asks.

"Um, I made my car-"

"You made your car?!"

"Y-yeah." I stutter as the table goes crazy.

"Was it for a school project or something?"

"Kinda, well, it started out with me and my friend Chen trying to make a water powered engine and then we did and this guy payed us to put it in a car and see if it works good-"

"Can we see it?!" They say.

"Eh, it's dirty~" I say before they being to flip out on me.

Maybe I shouldn't have brought that up-

I'm interrupted by my phone ringing and try to excuse myself as I answer it.

"Luhan! Shit.. We were messing around with sodium hypochlorite, ammonia, and sulfuric acid and something made it explode and it got in Lays eyes!" He says making my heart drop.

"What?! Why the- tell him to go flush his eyes and call an ambulance! You idiot why the hell would you be playing with sulfuric acid and sodium hypochlorite?!" I say as I hear yelling in the background.

"We were bored!"

"That doesn't mean you mix shit with sulfuric acid! He could loose his eyesight! You need to call an ambulance right now-"

"We are!" He yells at me.

"Tell him not to stop flushing his eyes until the ambulance gets there and see if there's any neutral saline, I think that helps. Didn't we learn out lesson last time we played with sulfuric acid?"

"Don't fucking lecture me right now!"

"Calm down, he'll be ok, just, how stupid do you have to be? Last time we played with it I ended up with bandages around my eyes for three weeks and now I can't see without contacts-"

"Luhan! You're not fucking helping!" He yells.

"Did you call an ambulance?"

"Yes! Luhan! I have to go, the floor is slowly melting away-" he says before the line goes dead.

"You idiots." I mumble as I pinch the bridge of my nose and lean back in my chair.

I told them, I freaking told them before I left not to play with my sulfuric acid and what do they do? They blind Lay. My poor baby, is all I can think about. I can believe they did that, I hope none of the others got any in their eyes.

Lay is to sweet to loose sight, all of them are, I couldn't stand to see one of my "children" loose their eyesight.

"Luhan, is everything okay?" Xiumin asks me softly.

"Yeah, no, my friends were messing around with some chemical and one of them got it in their eyes." I sigh.

"Really? Is he ok?"

"Yeah, I'm not sure yet. It happened to me a while ago but it was um, you could say it was watered down so it didn't do that much damage." I say as I look up and see all of them staring at me like I have two heads.

"You're eyes are damaged?"

"Yeah, I can't see with contacts or glasses, it's just all blurry." I say.

"Aw, that's so sad." Krystal says as she looks at me with wide eyes.

"Well I'm lucky I didn't completely loose it." I say with a small smile trying to lighten the mood.

"Sorry, I should go." I say as I get up and pick my try up.

"No! It's fine, stay, chat." Xiumin says as he gets up as well.

"No, I really do need to go. I need to get my books and do some laundry.." I say, kind of wanting to get out of here.

"Oh, okay, well me and you need to hang out soon." He smiles and I nod as I throw my trash away in the bin behind us.

He pulls me into a hug making me smile slightly before we say goodbye.

I leave to the library and get my books before leaving back to my dorm to put them down.

When I get in the room I find it empty and happily pull my laptop out and unlock my nightstand drawer.

Yeah, I had to get a lock so he's stop messing with my things.

I pull out a small cube and begin examining it before something begins irritating one of my eyes.

I think I got an eyelash in my eye.

I jump up and hurry to the bathroom and find a fuss on my eye. I hate messing with my eyes, it's the one part of the body that I can't see things happen to or mine start to water.

I realize the damn fuss in under my contact and take it out before deciding to just use my glasses.

I slowly make my way back to my desk, feeling slightly stupid that I didn't leave one in while I got my glasses but I can't change that now.

I find my chair and sit down before feeling around for my glasses. I find them and don't time fiddling with them before putting them on and get to work.

I open the small cube and use a magnify glass to look at the small grids on it and get tweezers to fiddle around with it.

I feel a zap in my arm making me fall back and hit my head on the ground as I roll of the chair in pain.

My arm feels like a noodle and chills run down my spine as my body becomes unable to focus on one part hurting.

I groan as I lay flat on the ground and spread out my arms and legs out. "God, what a great feeling that is." I say sarcastically as I use my left hand to rub my eyes under my glasses.

I just lay there for a few minutes before getting back up and continue working on the small cube.

After at least four hours of working on it, occasionally hitting a circuit on it and get shocked, I finally put the edges up and screw them back together.

I make sure the door is locked and the blinds on the window above my desk are closed before grabbing my phone.

I set it on my desk with it recording towards my bed before starting it. I sit on the edge of my bed with the cube in my hand.

"Um, hi, I'm Lu Han and I'm twenty four years old. This is test number one of my mini anti-gravity robot." I say as I show the camera the cube.

I rest the cube on my hand before slowly pressing the small black button on the side of it making a smile grow on my lips.
