Personally i don't like the beginning of the first book.
I believe the beginning could be more interesting and mysterious.

But that sad point is overcome by the name of the first chapter : The boy who lived.

It brings a thought in our mind that the boy must have faced fatal death situation, which comes out to be true in the oncoming chapters.

Dudley appears to be a rich spoiled bastard, which is exactly what he is.

Mr. And Mrs. Dudley....
Well i can't say that they are bad, because its not their fault that they are afraid of the 'Witchy Ditchy' things.

In fact when i put myself in Petunia's shoes, i believe i will do exactly what she did.
After all she was jealous of her own sister.

But yes i agree that Mr. Dudley is a very bad uncle and very bad person.

If we come to Harry, well beware before reading, he is not like the Prince Charming hero's of our usual love and fantasy books.
In fact he wear glasses, he is too lanky and skinny, his vision is blurred, and he not at all good at studies, which we come to know when he befriends with Hermione. But my heart is love with his gorgeous green eyes.
He is a very brave and strong character. Who has a mark on his forehead.

Despite being brave, he is afraid to loose his friends and family members.
Which shows how deeply he cares.

If we look at his friends, all have a very contrast trait.
Hermione is the know all, but in the chess game as we notice in the end, she is not very good.
In fact in the quidditch class, she faces a lot of difficulty.
Which clearly shows that even the most perfect person has defects.

I don't know about other people, but I'm impressed by the role of Draco Malfoy,  who makes his first entry in the 'Diagon Ally' In an indirect way, his role points towards those people who are proud of their bloodline.

You are the best.

The hard work of the author can be clearly seen in the first book.
All the imagination are top class.
When you read the book, it feels like you are yourself a part of the the wizarding world.

The four houses of Hogwards 'Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuf' describes the four types of class in our society. Our society needs all four, because all of them are important.
Their house symbols as well as their house dorms....
One word 'FABULOUS'

The way J. K Rowling described the death of professor Quill, it was outstanding.
A perfect mixture of curiosity and horror.
The speech albus gives harry in the hospital , is one of the best lines of the book.
Personally the book brings tears in my eyes.

But i feel most sad about the final match that didn't occurred. Too bad Gryffindor couldn't win the final match.

But that part is overcome by the house cup, when the Slytherin almost wins the house cup, but then Dumbledore comes and announces ' Some extra points to Hermione, Ron, Nevil and of course Harry'
Trully in the Ron comes out to be useful by his Chess knowledge.

I love the invisible cloak the most. When i read it, i am like 'oh how i wish, i had a cloak like that too'
The most realistic thing in the book the best friendship of Ron Harry and Hermione.
The story of three befriends with totally different personality.
