I rode on my horse pass my girlfriends house. She has been dodging me for bout a week, ever since we got into that fight I reckon.

What did I do to deserve this, I thought.

I rode to my favourite bar, where I met my baby.

When I walked into the bar everyone turned to look at me.

I strolled to the bartender and sat at the bar.

"What will it be?" He asked with a husky voice.

"Whisky," I replied.

The bartender left to grab the drink when I felt a gun pressed against my head.

I reckon you'll come if I was here." I said before turning to face my girlfriend.

"You reckon nothin'!" She said in her sexy southern accent.

"Sit down let's have a drink," I replied back with a smirk.

"Why shouldn't I kill you now! I don't reckon you'll be missed."

"Because as I told you last time, I'm a vampire you may shoot me all you want I won't die," I said quietly.

She sat down next to me, and pressed the gun against my ribs, "Do anythin' funny I'll blow you one."

"What will it be hon?" The bartender asked as he passed me my drink.

"Whisky."

"What did you need honey," I asked.

"I don't reckon you remember do you."

"Stop playing games, remember what?"

"You bloodhound-"

I grabbed her arm and twisted it in an odd angle, she let out a low cry of pain.

"I reckon tellin' you not speak of this in public." I pulled a roll of cash out of my pocket, it looked to be a lot but it was mostly ones.

"I'll see you outside!" I slammed the cash on the bar table and went outside.

I mount my horse and sat waiting.

"What you want." My baby said.

"Let's go, we don't need anybody except us."

"I'll never ride with a blood suckin' madman like you."

I reached down and grabbed her by her wrist, I pulled her up behind me and kicked the horse off.

"How dare-"

She fell silent when she saw more horsemen were riding behind us.

"W-who are they?" She whispered into my ear.

"My pack, you will have nothin' to fear for  you ride with The Vampire Lord."

We rode the horse till we came to my pack's meeting spot, it was a dry grassland far from everybody else.

I stepped off the horse and turned to speak to my pack.

"Tonight, we take what is ours! Tonight we raid the village of this pitiful town! Tonight we claim are home back!"

"What of the human girl? Is she to be trusted?"

"Yes, she is my mate."

I got back on my horse and we looked ahead, the town we just left was already mine, this new one would be mine soon...
