          Weapons—That's all they were to the group known as The Light. They were cloned from the DNA of Superman, hoping to bring the Man of Steel into the organization or eliminate him should he refuse. Well, that was Connor's purpose. It was originally supposed to be just Connor.

Iva Kal-El was a last-minute experiment for Cadmus scientists. They had just completed their cloning process for Superboy when one scientist proposed to make another. The more, the merrier was the idea. With not one, but two clones, they'd have their weapon and a backup should one perish. Whilst Kon-El would be the one to carry out their mission, Iva Kal-El would be "crowd control" and ensure that nothing stood in the way of their mission and if it came down to it, she'd put her life on the line. As Cadmus put it "We just needed Superboy. We don't need you." She was just collateral.

With her newfound freedom, Evangeline began to grow fond of her team—her family. Especially a red-headed speedster. Wally and Evangeline had a weird friendship, but they fit together like a puzzle. Where Wally would use his 'charm' on others, she didn't need it to want to be around him. There were many times where the two would be lounging in the cave, the girl talking about the places she'd love to visit and things she'd wish to see. He would promise to show her and bring her anywhere she wished to go. Just like he promised to show her the sun when he set her free from Cadmus. When it came to Evangeline, she wasn't collateral anymore. She was wanted and she was loved.

Wally would make sure of it.

AUTHOR'S NOTE !      i've been on a wally west brainrot era because i'm binging young justice again. if y'all remember mari kal-el, this is a revamped version. i'm really proud of the plot and the work i put into this and i just love evangeline (even though the ending is gonna be hell for her). and cause connor is gonna be in his protective brother role :)
