Cinderella the Robber
Len stared out at the crowd, looking for someone cute to dance with.
He scanned them quickly, hoping to find someone who would be easy to sneak into his bed.
Suddenly, he saw a quiet young boy at the food table.
Perfect.
He made his way over.
Suddenly, the boy's eyes darted around, as if to see if anyone was looking at him.
No one noticed.
And the boy didn't notice Len.
He recognized what the boy was doing. After all, it was what he did when he was in a crowded place and was about to steal something.
He decided to test whoever this boy was.
Maybe he could still get laid.
...
Barry scanned the room quickly, hoping to sneak off with a thousand bucks or so.
Suddenly, the host of the party, Leonard Snart, walked up to him.
Uh oh.
"Who might you be?" Leonard asked.
"Not as famous as you," Barry replied.
"Then you know who I am," Leonard said. Barry nodded.
How was he going to rob the place if the host was distracting him!?
"Would you like to dance?"
"Nah. I'm into girls, no offense." Barry tried not to lie very often, but hopefully, it would cause Leonard to leave him alone.
No such luck.
"Something tells me you're lying," Leonard muttered against his ear. Barry barely stopped himself from moaning/shivering.
"I'm not," Barry said.
Leonard frowned.
The kid was a better actor than he'd given him credit for.
"You can still dance with me."
"But I don't want to."
Len inwardly smirked.
He could make anyone, even actual straight people, change their mind.
"Are you sure?"
Barry nodded.
This would be fun.
...
As Leonard walked away, Barry almost cheered.
The sexiest man alive had just flirted with him.
And he'd managed to say no.
He didn't know if that was a good thing or not.
Either way, he had to get back to the mission at hand.
Steal something.
He didn't know what yet, but he knew what everything in this building was worth.
His only question was how Leonard had gotten so rich.
Everyone always asked for his secret, but he never told anyone.
In fact, he always managed to dodge the question.
It made Barry wonder.
He shrugged.
He should stop thinking about Leonard and figure out how he was going to be able to steal anything.
Suddenly, he saw the spotlight shift.
Leonard was on the stage.
"Welcome!" he yelled. Everyone cheered.
"I come up here for two things. One, to greet you all." Another cheer. "But the second thing is, that man," he pointed at Barry, "is refusing to dance with me. Think you can change his mind?"
Everyone roared.
"Dance with him! Dance with him!" they yelled.
Barry looked at Leonard, who had a very smug smirk on his face.
Two could play at that game.
Barry shook his head.
"I don't dance with strangers!" he called out, making the crowd around him gasp.
Leonard chuckled.
"You dance with people so that they aren't strangers!"
Barry shook his head.
"Nope. Not gonna. You can't make these people change my mind."
Suddenly, the felt someone grab his middle.
He looked down and realized his feet weren't on the ground.
He felt hands across his entire body.
He looked around and realized that the crowd was carrying him to the stage, where Leonard was smirking.
"Are you sure about that?" Leonard called, making the crowd roar.
When he finally hit the stage, they pushed him up.
Barry internally was grateful. He hated heights.
He immediately ran to the stage exist, but the people there blocked his exit.
He turned behind him to saw that the other exit was also blocked.
He stared at Leonard, silently fuming.
Why couldn't he just rob the party?
"Now will you dance with me?"
"If I do, will you call them off?" he gestured to the people blocking the exit.
Leonard nodded.
Barry rolled his eyes.
He walked up toward Leonard.
Suddenly, a slow song came on. Barry rolled his eyes.
"Now, I never got your name," Leonard whispered.
"You don't get my name if you use a crowd to kidnap me," Barry replied.
Leonard rolled his eyes fondly.
When the song was over, Barry immediately rushed toward the exits.
Leonard sighed.
He was going to win over whoever that was, no matter what.
...
Barry sat at the bar.
He wouldn't be able to rob this place because now he was known as "the one who refused Leonard Snart".
It was annoying.
"How can I win you over?"
"Go away," Barry muttered.
He was so sick of Leonard Snart.
Maybe he should just leave...
"I know you're a robber. If you make me, I will call my security detail."
Barry glanced up lazily.
"I'm not a robber," he said.
Leonard rolled his eyes.
"Yes, you are."
Barry scanned the room as quickly as he could.
Security was blocking every door.
Damnit.
"What do you want?" Barry asked finally.
"A night of fun."
Barry nodded slowly.
"Just sex? Fine," he agreed.
Leonard raised an eyebrow.
"Who said anything about sex?"
"Oh... so what do you mean?"
"You'll see."
"What if I don't want to?" Barry asked.
"Then you'll end up in a jail cell."
"Fine," Barry agreed reluctantly.
...
"Where are we going, Leonard?"
Leonard smiled. "Call me Len," he said.
"You didn't answer my question, Len."
Len smirked.
"I guess you'll just have to see."
...
"Wow." Barry couldn't help the gasp that escaped him as he gazed out at the scenery.
Len smirked.
"Shut up," Barry said without turning around.
"It's an amazing view, isn't it?"
Barry nodded silently.
Len watched the young boy's face as he gazed at the Effiel Tower.
He found that he liked the smile of amazement.
Possibly a little too much.
He didn't want this to be just one night.
...
Barry stared for the view for a while before Len started pulling him away by the arm.
"What now?" Barry whined.
Len rolled his eyes.
"If you must know, I'm taking you to dinner."
"I already ate!" Barry protested, but Len was already dragging him away from the balcony.
Barry would never admit it, but he liked how strong Len seemed.
...
"Why are you taking the person who tried to rob you to dinner?" Barry asked suspiciously.
"Don't worry, whatever your name is. I won't kill you."
Barry rolled his eyes.
"Is there any chance I can get that name yet?" Len asked.
Barry shook his head quickly.
"How'd you even know I was going to rob you?" Barry asked.
"If I tell you my secret, you have to tell me your name. Deal?"
Barry nodded slowly.
"I rob banks. How do you think I got so rich? When I have big fancy parties, I usually steal a few diamond necklaces."
Barry snorted.
"Real classy."
Len shrugged, a small smile on his face.
"Your name?" he prompted.
"Barry. Barry Allen," he sighed.
Len laughed.
"See? That wasn't so hard," he laughed.
"Unlike you," Barry muttered.
Len rolled his eyes.
"You're a stubborn pain in the ass, you know that?"
Barry laughed.
"Yep."
Len just shook his head.
"When are we leaving? I wasn't kidding when I said I had already eaten," Barry said.
Len exhaled loudly.
"I hope you know how annoying you are," he said as he started walking away, leaving Barry to chase after him.
...
"Where are we?" Barry asked.
It was a dark, abandoned warehouse.
"This," Len gestured to the whole room, "is where I grew up."
Barry gasped softly and looked at Len.
"Really?"
"Rags to riches."
Barry nodded slowly.
"Someday, I want this for myself. Fame, money, maybe a family."
Len turned to him.
"I want that too," he whispered.
"Anyone special?"
Barry shook his head.
"I don't do relationships. They're messy and complicated."
Len smiled at him.
"Same. But I think I would make an exception for you."
He leaned forward slowly, cautiously.
Barry smirked at him as he grabbed his shirt and pulled him close.
...
Note: I can't believe I'm almost done with this book!
I hope you enjoyed!
Note: I just realized this, but why did "Prince Charming" need to have people try on shoes? Shouldn't he recognize her?
