"Have you seen this man?" The OFC asked Namjoon who was a little incoherent at the time. He thought the so called man looked familiar. But, he couldn't quite place where he had seen him.

"That looks like a boy…" he slurred his words as he giggled at the photo. The OFC glared at him, then walked away muttering under his breath. Namjoon shrugged turning back towards the bartender throwing up an index finger for another drink. Jackson shook his head at his friend, sliding another shot if whiskey towards him.

"Look man… why don't you just talk to her.." Jackson questioned him while making a mojito for a very impatient redhead.  Her long french tip fingernails tapping the bar. She gave Namjoon a look of disgust then snatched her drink and walked away shimmying her hips in her slinky black dress.

"Well…. Looks like you have an admirer." He joked watching her disappear into the crowd.

"Fuck off." Namjoon hissed knocking back the burning liquid. How many was that now? Five or six… he had lost count.

"Bro it was a joke. Chill out." Jackson shot back.

Namjoon felt like his luck had run out. No one seemed to care about him or what he was doing. Except a little girl with pigtails that one day and her Nanny… what was the nanny's name? If only he could remember, and maybe find her in his phone.

"Abby?" He questioned himself.

"Who?"

"No… that's not it. Anna?..."

"Ah geez… her name was Y/N.. You're not that drunk are you?" Jackson asked skeptical.

"Noo… it's a girl I met in the park."

Jackson walked away shaking his head. The OFC approached the bar showing him the same picture he showed Namjoon. He apologized and told him he didn't but he would keep a look out. The OFC thanked him and walked away towards the crowd.

"Amber…" Namjoon puckered his face as his mind became cloudy. However, he was certain that was her name. Pulling out his phone he dialed quickly.

"Hello?" A soft voice asked.
"Hi…" he slurred.

"Who is this?"
"It's me...Joonie.."

"Ah...Willow boy. Don't you know it's one in the morning?"

Namjoon looked down at his watch. It was a quarter after one. He sniffled a little and mumbled an incoherent apology.

"Sss...so..sorry."

"Are you drunk?" Amber asked. Namjoon nodded. But didn't say anything. His phone magically flying out his hand, or so he thought.

Jackson took the phone from him. "Hi this is Jackson the bartender at 'The Quake'. Namjoon is lit."

"Oh…"

Looking at Namjoon then back at the phone. Wondering who the hell he was talking to.

"Who is this?"

"I'm Amber… Is Namjoon alright?"

"Nah… he needs attention to boost his ego."

"You're rude…" she snapped at him.

"Sorry… he's been upset about this girl. Apparently his friend stole her."

"Ah geez… Same thing from the other day. I'll be right there."

The line went dead. Jackson handed the phone back to Namjoon and smirked. "Maybe you'll get lucky."

Namjoon looked at Jackson confused then back to his phone. He sighed heavily, holding up his index finger again. "Please?"

"Why not buddy." He said sliding him yet another shot of whiskey. Tapping his chin while observing his broken down friend.

-----------------------

Amber stared down at her phone in disbelief. Why the hell would he call her so late. He didn't even know her aside from the park that day. Yea they sent texts here and there but nothing to indicate a friendship. Groaning because she knew even though she didn't know him that well she would go to help him.

She walked out of her bedroom to see Catie sitting in the living room typing hastily on her computer, her glasses at the brim of her nose. Amber smiled and snuck down the hall out the door. She didn't want to disturb her. She was probably doing homework to avoid sleep. Her insomnia had gotten bad since they moved here.

The night air hit her hard with chills. The autumn air invading her nostrils with the smell of leaves and firewood. Amber slid into the seat of her black Chevy S10 gripping the steering wheel and taking a deep breath.

The streets were lively, and the sidewalks riddled with people stumbling and speaking loudly. Couples could be seen making out on walls near bars, and random drunkards passed out. One literally hanging halfway out of a trash can.

Amber laughed out loud, " so stoopid!" Shaking her head she parallel parked in front of the Minute cafe where Catie works part time. She seemed to like it there just fine, and said the customers were great. She just felt bad for the girl who lost her life.

Crossing the street Amber heard several cat calls which made her flick them off, before she ducked into the club. The smell of stale beer and sweat was sickening, but she pressed forward. The bartender was leaning against the bar next to a slumped over man in a leather jacket and faded blue jeans. Hesitating she walked up a little straighter and shouted over the music. "Is he okay?"

The man she assumed was Jackson smirked at her. "He is now." Then he walked away. Namjoon peeked over his sleeve to see Amber standing close to him. He instantly grabbed her and cried into her shoulder. Taken aback she regained her composure, lightly patting him on the back whispering in his ear.
"Hey ...hey.. it's okay.. talk to me."

His shoulders heaved as he breathed in deeply not moving from her embrace. Amber looked over at Jackson with a "what the hell" look. He just gave a cocky smirk and went back to talking to some redhead. Who was running a finger down his toned arm. Amber shook her head in disgust, and hugged Namjoon. He whimpered into her neck.

"I...I'm no good… I screw everything up.." he whined. Amber ran her fingers through his hair to try to calm him. It seemed to be working because he started breathing deep and he started getting heavy.

"Uh…. Help Jackass! I MEAN Jackson!" She squealed. Jackson jumped across the bar and helped her before the passed out Namjoon fell to the ground. They struggled for a second but was able to stabilize him.

"Can you take him home?" Jackson asked Amber as they stood there staring at the snoring Namjoon.
"Really??" She laughed nervously. Jackson quirked his face and nodded. She glared at him and curled her nose.
"I really don't like you...and you are an awful friend!"

"Back atcha Tiny Tot." He winked at her. Amber just kept glaring at him. If looks could kill that whole club would be dead.

"Ugh… fine…" she exasperated tugging on the sleeping Namjoon. Except he didn't budge which made Jackson stifle a laugh. Which caught him more death glares.

"Hey BamBam! Man the bar!" He yelled towards a slim blonde haired boy who didn't look quite old enough to be there. Let alone behind the bar. Instead of questioning it further Amber watched as Jackson tossed Namjoon up on his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. The sleeping man grunted but hung limply.

"He sleeps like the dead.." she observed. Jackson nodded and headed towards the exit.

"Where's your car?" He asked shrugging Namjoon back up on his shoulder. Amber lead the way to her truck. Jackson's eyes widened and then his head nodded in approval. Not that she needed his approval.

"I thought you'd have a Prius." He teased rolling Namjoon into the passenger seat. Brushing himself off after, then bringing two fingers to his forehead in a salute and heading back to the club.

"What an ass.." Amber said in disgust. She didn't even know where Namjoon lived. Could she wake him? Maybe he had a wallet on him. Feeling along his waist, careful not to touch him inappropriately she found his wallet. In his wallet was a paramedic ID, and then his drivers license, along with a few other cards.

"You trying to rob me…" he murmured in her ear. She jumped up and looked at him. He was staring at her with accusing groggy eyes. Amber gave him a half smile and shook her head no.

"I'm trying to help you." She informed.

"Oh…"

"I needed your address… so I took your wallet for your ID."

"I think I'ma…." His sentence was cut short when he started to heave and retch.

"Oh no you don't!" She yelled jumping out her truck and running to open his door. Namjoon leaned dangerously far out of the truck, throwing up the contents of his stomach. Amber covered her mouth and stared up at the night sky. Why her. She thought to herself before pushing him back into the cab of the truck.

"You good."

He just nodded with a sleepy grin.

((Message from Catie: Where are you? Are you okay?))

Amber cursed herself for not texting Catie sooner, but she couldn't do it while driving so she waited until they pulled up on Namjoon's apartment building.

Namjoon snored lightly in the passenger seat, his hair pushed back exposing his forehead. He looked so handsome. She sighed heavily then her face dropped in horror.

"How the fuck am I suppose to get him up to his apartment?!" She cursed loudly causing the sleeping man to flinch in his slumber. Several minutes passed as she stared at him and then the building, trying to judge the distance. When something glinted in the bed of her truck. It was a dolly, Joe must've left it there after he borrowed her truck.

"Thank you Houdini." She praised as she got out to grab it. Wheeling it around to the passenger side she opened the door, after laying the dolly flat on the ground.

"Hmmmm…." She was thinking of a strategy. When a figurative lightbulb lit up above her head. She pulled off her jacket tossing it on the side of the truck bed, then carefully pulled the overly heavy sleeper out onto the dolly. Tying him to it with her jacket and an extra scarf she had with her.

"Man am I thankful for Catie and her obsession with leg day." She groaned as she hoisted the dolly up and started wheeling it towards the building. A few people stopped and stared as she made her way into the building. She giggled to herself before she said, "Special delivery!"

Then quickly got in the elevator. Three-zero-six is what it said on the key attached to his belt loop. So hopefully that was his apartment.

Struggling with the dolly and the door  for a moment, an OFC walked up with his eyebrow cocked upward. "Miss what are you doing?"

She smiled sweetly, "making sure this idiot gets home safely."

"Ah yea… he was a bit torn up at the bar earlier when I talked to him. Would you like some help?"

She breathed out heavily and nodded. He gave her a kind smile. "My names Jungkook by the way...and uh… this was very creative."

"Amber..and I'm used to thinking on the fly."

Jungkook smiled again, pushing the dolly through the door that Amber held open. She scanned the apartment trying to figure out which room was his bedroom.

"Uh… one second." He just nodded and watched as she walked from door to door to find his room. If he lives by himself why the hell does he have 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

"Geez… I think this one is it."

Jungkook laughed at her and wheeled the unconscious man into his room. Carefully they untied him and then lifted him onto his bed. Amber pulled back the covers and propped his head up on a pillow. Tucking him in like she would Perseus and Calliope.

"Welp I'll be off…. Uh.. if you ever find yourself in need of a job here's my card." He said with a warm smile before leaving. Amber tucked the card in her pocket and walked back to the bedroom to check on Namjoon.

He was snoring lightly and his face seemed so calm. She wondered what he was dreaming about as she sat down on the edge of the bed.

"Stay with me…" he muttered softly. Amber shifted her eyes towards his now open ones.

"What?" She asked surprised. The guy was just sleeping. I mean he still looked tired but he was now looking at her like a lost child.

"I should.. go…" she sighed slowly going to get up, but he grabbed her wrist pulling her to his chest, and wrapping a leg over hers. Her eyes widened in fear and confusion.

"Namjoon…" she started.

"Please…"

Sighing deeply she adjusted to where his head rested on her chest, his arm draped across her stomach, and his leg still across hers. It wasn't the weirdest situation she's ever been in. However it was definitely in the top three.

A few moments later he was fast asleep, and her eyes began to get heavy. Yawning widely she wiggled to get more comfy, then fell asleep herself. This should make for an interesting day tomorrow.
