'I woke up with a lot of pain as I felt the cold snow that was below me. My face was red and I had blood stains all over my body. "Where's Eddie?"  It was hard to move and the cold didn't make it easier. Small snowflakes fell from the sky as it covered the pine trees making a snow paradise.'

Today was a special day. My fiancé and I would be married in just a few hours. Israel.

Life hasn't been easy for me ever since I lost my parents and my home, because that demon ruined it all. Pretty much my life was miserable, but when I adopted Edward (Eddie) a few years ago, life started to get more better. I felt less lonely and now that I've found the love of my life, I can start a new beginning.

Israel and I have been childhood friends, our parents have known each other since then. Growing up with him was wonderful; playing in the forest, visiting the temple my parents used to worship, and enjoying each other's company.

Ever since my parents passed away, his parents have been providing me with a lot. They have provided me with food, good clothing, and a home. They've been taking care of me, and even Eddie. I was just so grateful to have them.

"L/N-Sama!!! Where are you?!" I heard Eddie's voice and slowly went towards where he was. "Hey Eddie, are you looking for me?"

He looked calmed as soon as he saw me, I could tell by the small smile he had. This kid really is lovely.

"L/N-Sama I've been looking for you everywhere. I wanted to give you this gift before the big    ceremony." He took out something from his pocket and revealed a beautiful lotus hairpin.

(The hairpin looked like this.)

Eddie handed me the hairpin as his green eyes widened in innocence. The hairpin looked absolutely beautiful. "This is for you L/N-Sama. It's like a thank you gift for everything you have done for me. Thank you for taking care of me and for being my guardian. You deserve it all."

"Thank you Eddie, but if may I ask, where did you get the hairpin from?" He gave me a soft smile said "Well L/ N-Sama, I had small jobs and earned money to buy you the hairpin. I saw it a few months ago at a store when we were at the Entertainment District, and I really wanted to get it for you." My heart melted by just hearing this. I never had children of my own, but Eddie was like my biological child. He lost his parents too at a young age and ever since I adopted him, he's very caring towards me.

Hours passed by and Eddie and I have talked a lot about our future lives. Just a few more hours till night and our lives will forever change into better ones.

I will have a husband, and Eddie will have a father. Honestly I was very nervous about the ceremony, but everything will turn out perfect, right?

Eddie was sitting down in a chair as he played with some paper dolls and stopped playing to look at me with a worried expression. "L/N-Sama. I don't wanna sound like an over-thinker but I'm getting a feeling that something bad is going to happen...and I'm scared."

His green pure eyes weren't shinning this time, he looked anxious and he couldn't stop shacking his legs. I started at him and looked at him directly in the eyes, "Eddie, don't worry. Everything will be alright, and the best part is that our lives will be better, so stop overthinking too much."

I said with a warm smile in my face, "and also stop calling me L/N-Sama, that's too formal"

Eddie giggled a little, but I could tell he was still kinda anxious. This kid was known for always trusting his instinct, even if I told him everything was going to be alright, that simply could not stop his overthinking. But either way, what could possibly go wrong?

The night had finally came, as I was finishing getting ready for the ceremony, my future sister-in-law came in. "Hey...umm Y/N...we got a problem.." She said with stutters.

Her faced showed worry but at the same time satisfaction, why? Now that I think about it, she looks like someone very familiar..or maybe I'm just overthinking too much..?

I let out a sight and turned to face her. "Oh? What's the problem Bella?" She froze and her face looked more paled than usual.

With stutters she slowly spoke.

"Israel is....

Missing..."
