*Pia Pov*

"Guys! Don't drag me like this." I shouted at Dinesh and Rajeev. As for Sush he is holding Angel carefully.

I looked at Nikki and Priya to see them dragging Aman to their side. "Don't touch his fingers they are burned."

"Don't worry! We will take care of him." Suma said teasingly and I just rolled my eyes.

"Ok! Now Pia is in our team and Aman is in yours. Let's start the decoration." Sush said looking at Arthi.

"Isn't it should be girls versus boys?" I asked them confused.

"Yeah! But here we are trying to prove that you are the best and they will try to prove that Aman is the best." Rajeev replied.

"I will not participate." I said moving away.

"Please! We will do anything." Rajeev said pleading.

"Ok! I am actually inviting all our parents but I don't have address for Aman's In-Law's house. So you must go and bring them tomorrow." I said looking at him.

"What? Why should we invite them?" Dinesh asked frowning.

"Because they are real grandparents of Angel." I replied in 'Duh' tone.

"Ok deal! Now will you fight them with us?" Rajeev asked smiling.

"Definitely!" I replied and we all high-fived.

"Guys! You are my friends." Aman shouted from that end.

"And they are all my friends but looks like we need to go with it. All the best Aman!" I said smiling.

"All the best Pia!" he said winking.

"We will decorate the inside house and also get Aman ready. And by tomorrow evening you guys will be jealous of him." Suma said looking at us.

"That's not fair! We will have so much work left for us to do if you guys only do the inside decorations." Kalyan said frowning.

"Well this is your chance. Prove yourselves that you all are not old." Priya said winking.

"Ok then we will decorate the outside house and the entire garden because ofcourse looks like we have more strength than you all." Kalyan said laughing.

"And we will make Pia the hottest girl for tomorrow party." Dinesh added.

"Oh god!" Aman and I said at the same time.

It is already evening and I am having great time with the boys. I am only close to Sush and Kalyan until now but now I am very good with Dinesh and Rajeev too.

"So tomorrow morning we will go for shopping." Dinesh said excitingly.

"Thank god! Atleast one of us are excited about the shopping thing." I said and we all laughed.

"I am not excited about that. I am excited about making them realize that we didn't act like some old people." Dinesh said rolling his eyes.

"Ok. And I will bring her parents here." Rajeev said and we all got up.

We went inside to see that all the decorations are almost over but we are very back comparing to them.

"Hey you can't do all those on me." Aman complained to Arthi.

"Come on Bhai! They are just pedicures, waxing and etc." Arthi said rolling her eyes.

"No way! I will not do any of those things. You already made me decorate all these." Aman said shaking his head.

"Ok. We will not do them." Nikki said laughing.

They all left and said they will come early. I closed the door and turned around to only shriek.

"Aman! You just gave me a heart attack." I said hitting him on his shoulder.

"I am tired!" he said tiredly.

"Dinner?" I asked him and he just shook his head.

"I am also tired. Let's just call it a day early." I said and we both decided to sleep.

Next day I woke up feeling someone's gaze on me. I opened my eyes to see Aman looking at me.

"What?" I asked him yawning.

"You are beautiful!" He replied kissing me and I kissed back.

After releasing him I said "You need not lie like that."

"Why do you think I am lying?" He asked confused.

I shook my head and got up to get ready and he too did the same. After sometime our friends came and all girls went for shopping in the morning itself along with Aman.

They took Angel with them as our team need to complete the decoration. By the lunch time we finished and then left for shopping. Rajeev was the one who finished his shopping first and left for the village to fulfill my wish.

"Pia! What about this?" Dinesh asked showing me the 100th sari.

"You have very bad taste Dinesh." Sush said shaking his head.

"Guys! She is fashion designer. She knows what to do." Kalyan said rolling his eyes.

"It should be formal as there will be clients right. So I guess this will do." I said showing him one sari.

"But you will not look sexy in that." Dinesh said complaining.

"Are you hitting on my wife?" Aman asked coming out of nowhere and I immediately hid the sari behind me.

"Nope! But we are trying hard so that you can hit on your own wife." Dinesh replied.

"Trust me! We need not do anything to make him do that." Sush said smiling.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"We completed shopping just now." he replied smiling.

"What? From morning you all are just here?" I asked him shocked.

"Perks of going to shopping with four girls Pia." He replied shaking his head.

"Then go home. We will be there after some time." Kalyan said pushing him out of the shop.

"Now let's get you to some beauty parlor." Dinesh said buying the Sari against my protest.

"I don't want to go there." I said shaking my head.

"You need to listen to us atleast in this thing." Saying this he pushed me inside the parlor.

After painful one hour I came out and we all went to Sush house. As they decided it will good to hide me for some more time.

In the evening I got ready and came outside to see Sush sitting on the couch. I sat beside him smiling and asked "Where are they?"

"They already left for the party to check on the decorations and I am waiting for you." He replied.

"So now you both like each other right?" Sush asked teasingly.

"How can he like me within a month Sush?" I asked him frowning.

"What do you mean? One thing is good that you are not denying your likeness but you are questioning his." he asked confused.

I ignored his second statement shaking my head and looked at him asking the only doubt.

"I mean we just got married one month back right. And we just accepted our relation. So how can he like me so soon?" I asked frowning.

"He didn't tell you?" Sush asked shock.

"Tell me what?" I asked him confused and I am actually tried because we both are just asking questions to each other.

"That idiot! If only you read those mails then everything would have been perfect all these years." Sush talked to himself shaking his head.

"What mails? Sush tell me what mails are you talking about?" I asked getting up.

"We are getting late so let's just go and about those mails ask that stupid." He replied making me even more confused.

I decided to ask Aman everything after the party. We reached the house by taking few steps as usual and saw that the house is beautifully decorated.

Some guests started to come so we went inside to see our friends are all standing in the living room looking great. And then I saw Aman looking handsome in that formal attire of grey shirt. I always know he will look good when it is tucked.

"Wow Pia! Until now we thought we actually won this but after looking at you it seems like we lost it." Nikki said hugging me.

Hearing her words Aman looked at me and didn't move his gaze away. I don't know why but his gaze is making me blush a little. I went near him to see Angel sleeping in his arms peacefully.

I bend down to kiss on her forehead and then on Aman's cheek. We turned to see our guests arrived and we moved forwards to talk to them.

"Wow Aman! Your wife is looking beautiful." One of the guest said making me drop my smile.

Aman seeing this asked me with his eyes but I didn't said anything. Like this whenever someone said that I am beautiful or gorgeous my smile always misses from my face.

*Aman Pov*

What is happening? Why is she uncomfortable when someone is complimenting her?

"Hey Aman! It's been so long." One of my old college friend said coming near me.

"So I am not seeing any painting made by you in your house. Did you hide them somewhere?" He asked looking around.

"I stopped painting three years back." I replied honestly and Pia looked at me immediately.

"That's so sad. But I wish I can see your work again." Saying this he moved away.

Pia dragged me to a corner and asked "Why did you stop painting?"

"I just didn't felt to. Now tell me why are you frowning whenever someone complimenting you?" I asked her.

"Because they are telling lies." She replied shrugging and a mask formed on her face.

"What do you mean?" I asked her confused.

"I am just not beautiful!" she replied in serious tone and then I just looked into her eyes.

Then I remember me saying that she is not beautiful every time Arthi asked me on our birthday.

I cursed and said "Pia! I never meant those words at that time. I was lying."

"It's ok Aman. You need not lie to me." she said shaking her head.

For few minutes I tried to make her understand but she is not at all budging and then I saw that she is again closing her walls so I left the topic. We continued to meet the guests and then I saw that Rajeev is nowhere to be seen.

At the same time he entered smiling at us and two people walked behind him. Looking at them I just held Angel tightly in my hands and moved back.

"Aman! Come on let them meet their beautiful granddaughter." Pia said smiling and dragged me towards them.

"No pia! We shouldn't do this." I said but we are already standing infront of them.

Pia took Angel from me and placed her in their hands. They looked at her adoringly and kissed her forehead.

I closed my eyes and moved away from them. I kept on looking at Angel so that I can be sure she is safe.

After sometime I couldn't bear and took Angel from them saying some clients want to meet her. Pia looked at me shocked but didn't say anything except a frown on her face.

Finally the party came to an end. Everyone left along with our parents. Through the whole party I didn't left Angel alone and Rajeev took them back to their village after they bid good bye to Angel.

After locking the door we went inside my room and then I released my breath. Kissing on her forehead I placed her inside the crib and turned towards to see Pia standing there.

"Hey!" I said because I don't know what to say.

"What happened to you Aman? They came from so long distance to just see her and you didn't gave them enough time at all." She shouted at me but stopped herself from raising her tone.

"Because they will take her away from us." I said shaking my head.

"Why would they take your daughter away from you?" She asked and looked at me like I am crazy.

"Because she is not my daughter! And they know it from the starting." I replied closing my eyes.

I didn't hear anything. It is just completely silent and I really don't want this silence to cover us.

"Say something!" I said opening my eyes.

"I don't know what to say." She mumbled and sat on the bed. She just sat there in complete shock and I just couldn't stay there anymore so I left the room.

I held my head in my hands and paced around in the side room. Then I remember that I need to make her understand that I really think she is really beautiful.

I opened the store room and took the canvas and the bag in which I placed the paintings. I went inside my room and started painting the image in my head.

After sometime I completed it and let it dry for few more minutes. Then I returned to her room to see her still sitting on the bed lost in her thoughts.

"Pia! You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. And I know my words will not make any difference so here see this." I said continuously without giving her any chance to say anything.

She looked up to see the canvas I am holding and she walked towards me. Taking the canvas in her hands she saw the painting of her's holding Angel.

"It is beautiful!" She said looking at it.

"So are you and please believe my words." I said taking the canvas from her and placed it aside.

"I believe you Aman." She said looking at me with an emotion which just made me fall in love with her even more.

I pulled her towards me and kissed her slowly taking my own time. She kissed back and we both released each other.

"Full moon!" she mumbled still closing her eyes.

"What?" I asked her confused.

"I just saw full moon while kissing you in my vision." She replied frowning.

"But today it is not full moon." I said confused.

"Leave it! Now you need to tell me everything Aman and I mean everything." She said in serious tone and I nodded at her.

Ok looks like story is going to end soon and i don't even know that. That's really weird i guess..........

Truth to be told it is not turning out like i imagined but i atleast hope u guys liked it......
