*Aman Pov*

I actually thought we are moving forward but hearing her words just made one thing clear. That it may not happen anytime soon.

I can understand that she is terrified but I never thought she will pretend just to make sure I am close to Angel. I am happy about one thing that because of all these I got close to that baby.

But it just hurts a little to know the girl I love actually doesn't even like me. I wanted to move away from this room but she is not letting me at all.

Then suddenly she pulled me by my collar and pressed her lips. I just froze in that moment. Pia continued to press her lips but I didn't move at all.

"I know you are angry at me but kiss me back." She mumbled on my lips and placed her both hands around my neck.

And that's when I moved my lips along with her as she is doing. She tugged me even more near her making me press her between me and the door.

Placing my hands on her waist tightly I kissed her back following her direction. Few seconds later we stopped to take breath and then I pressed few kisses on her jaw and then to her neck.

"Aman!" she said tugging my hair making me stop in my tracks.                          

I moved back a little to see that she closed her eyes and by my moment she opened her eyes dazedly asking "What happened?"

"You said 'Aman'!" I replied frowning.

"Is that a wrong thing to do Aman?" She asked looking at me.

"You stopped saying my name for all these years like you said to Nikhila." I stated what I heard the first day of our marriage.

"Yeah! But l just don't want to call you by any other name anymore." She said shaking her head.

I smiled and said "I loved my first kiss."

"First kiss?" she asked confused. I cursed myself in my mind and started thinking to give some reply to that.

"I too felt like this is my first kiss." She said smiling and hugged me.

I hugged her back and asked "Are you still pretending?"

She cursed herself loudly and removed herself from me saying "I never pretended any of our moments Aman. But the way I moved forward is for Angel if I am being honest."

"So that means whatever you said to me that day after dragging me from my office are true?" I asked her.

"Yes everything is true but the reason behind is the thing I hided from you. Call me a coward but I am terrified to move forward." She replied placing her forehead on my shoulder.

"And now?" I asked her with small hope.

"Now the reason will be for us to move forward. And you must trust me because I am sure if I moved away from you then you will still take care of Angel." She replied looking at me.

"This time shall we date really?" I asked placing my hands on both sides of her head.

"Yes! We will and I will not over react." She replied smiling.

"Your smile is beautiful and I missed it so much." I said smiling back.

"I always smile Aman." She said frowning.

"But not with your eyes. And yes I can tell the difference immediately." I said and placed my hand on the door knob.

"Where are you going? Are you still angry at me?" she asked frowning.

I laughed and said "I am going to change my dress. Or do you still want to lock me in this room?"

"I did that because I am sure if you step out of this room we can never come over my stupid thought. And you will always be angry on me." She replied smiling a little.

"I can never be angry on you Pia. I was just hurt because I really thought we are progressing." I said shaking my head.

"I know! I am so sorry and I am sure we should forget the past little by little." She said and I nodded stepping out of that room.

I went inside the washroom in that room and came outside to see Pia entering the room holding Angel.

"What happened?" I asked her confused.

"Nothing! I just thought you are still angry and going to sleep here." She replied turning around.

I got confused and looked down to see that I am still in my towel. I cleared my throat and said "I will come in few minutes."

She nodded and went away from this room. I immediately changed into my evening wear and entered her room.

She is already lying down on the bed. I switched off the light and lay down beside her. She placed her head on my shoulder and I held her placing my hand on her waist.

"I forgot to tell you some of my clients want a party for our wedding." I said after few minutes.

"When?" she asked with a yawn.

"Day after tomorrow!" I replied kissing on her forehead.

She nodded and drifted off into sleep and I followed her suite.

*Pia Pov*

I woke up with the smell of something burning. I immediately got up from the bed to see Angel still sleeping. I went outside the room and towards the kitchen to see the little smoke coming from it.

"What are you doing Aman?" I asked shouting at his back.

"I am trying to make some bread toast for us." He replied turning back.

"If you don't move away from that machine, I am sure we will be the ones that becomes toast." I said entering the kitchen and switched off the toaster.

I opened the windows and let the smoke move away. After it is all clear I turned towards him glaring.

"Who asked you to do this?" I asked and held his hand to drag him outside the room.

But he immediately flinched making me release his hand. I took his hand carefully in mine to see few fingers in redness.

"Did you got burn?" I asked him and he nodded.

I took his hand and placed it under the water making him flinch a little but I made him stay like that. I brought the curd from the refrigerator and placed some on the burned part.

"Bubbles will not form if you do this immediately." I said and placed some more curd on his hand.

He nodded smiling. I glared at him asked "Why are you smiling Aman?"

"Nothing! I just thought it will not be same like yesterday night when I wake up but it is same like when I closed my eyes." He replied smiling.

"What?" I asked him confused.

"We! We are progressing." He replied making me smile a little.

"I will prepare breakfast for us and you just go and sit down calmly." I said pushing him away from the kitchen.

"I will go and bring Angel downstairs. She must be hungry." He said leaving the kitchen.

"Be careful Aman!" I said and started preparing the breakfast.

He returned with Angel and sat on the dining chair. Few minutes later I placed the food on the dining table and at the same time bell rang.

I opened it to see all our friends are outside. I frowned a little without any effort and opened the door.

"Looking at your face we can tell that Aman didn't tell you that we are coming right?" Sush asked smiling.

"Yeah! I didn't know that you all are coming. I will prepare some breakfast for you all." I replied moving back.

"No need for that. We already finished it but we are here to help you guys." Nikki said following me along with other.

"Help for what?" I asked her confused.

"For tomorrow's party Pia!" Aman replied smiling.

"Oh ok! Just give us few minutes." I said and went near Aman after they all nodded settling themselves in the living room.

"Let's eat!" I said sitting beside him.

"How?" he asked showing his hand.

"Like this!" I replied placing a piece of toast in his mouth by my hand.

"It tastes more delicious than the times I ate before." He said smiling.

I rolled my eyes but smiled looking at him expression. I started feeding him and also ate myself. We both smiled at each other in between.

"Thanks Pia!" He said kissing my cheek.

I rubbed my cheek glaring and said "Atleast wash your mouth before doing that."

I shook my head and went inside the kitchen. I returned to see Aman turned towards me and just smiling at me making me smile back.

I looked at Living room and then I remembered that our friends are sitting there. They are looking at us wide eyed and with open mouths.

"Are we in the right address?" Rajeev asked slapping Sush's shoulder.

Sush looked at me and I smiled at him nodding to which he smiled brightly and said "We are in perfect address."

Nikki looked at me with full questions and I mouthed 'Later'. She nodded and we all started to plan about the decorations and everything for tomorrow's party.

"So what just happened after we left?" Nikki asked when we both are little far away from all of them.

I told her what happened yesterday night not in complete details but in brief. She smiled and hugged me saying that she is happy that I decided to give this marriage a chance.

"Pia! Angel is asking for you." Aman shouted even though he is in the dining hall and I am in the living room.

"And how did she did it Aman?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

"I don't know she just did." He replied shrugging.

"Aman ha!" Nikki said mumbling beside me.

"I am getting a feeling that you both are some teenagers and not some married couple." Dinesh said shaking his head.

"You are just jealous Dinesh." Aman said rolling his eyes.

"Yeah! See how cute they both are and look at both of us. We are like some old couple." Suma complained.

"Totally! You are always acting like some old age man." Arthi said to Sush.

"These guys are totally waste. They need to learn from Aman." Priya said glaring at Rajeev.

We all looked at Nikki and waiting for her to say something but she just shrugged and said "You all are lucky because my one acts like he just born yesterday."

We all burst into fits of laughter and Kalyan glared at Nikki. All the guys went near each other and whispered to themselves except Aman.

And I walked near him smiling to which he smiled back. "So Angel is calling me right?" I asked smiling.

"Yeah! See she is mumbling something." He replied and I kissed him on his cheek.

"And you all must learn from Pia." All the boys shouted at them and we both turned to see that there is going to be big fight between them all now.

"Why are they bringing us both between their fights?" Aman asked frowning.

"This will be fun!" I replied smiling.

Happiness is really worth to fight all the fears and take some risks......

Uff! After so many days i updated at this time.......

I read osme comments and they felt that Pia is over reacting and i know that but what can she do she is just terrified. she didn't acted but she just had other intentions about their progressing and i hope this chap cleared that...

How is the chap????

And thanks for replying to previous question so i updated that new story intro..
