*Pia Pov*

When Arthi told me about the room where she died I immediately know that he lied to me. So in the evening I opened the guest room and placed my bags there.

I looked around to see that it just looks like a girls room if I need to be direct. I even placed the crib here and went back near our friends.

After they left I decided to inform him but he replied so coldly. I am not saying I got affected but it was just cold. He hugged me suddenly and I so wanted to shout at him but he slammed the door on my face.

I looked at it in shock and returned to my room. After Angel slept I lay down but within four hours I got up because she cried. I tried to feed her but she didn't drink so that means she is not hungry as per the book I started reading. I rocked her placing in my lap and sat on the bed.

Finally she slept after some time and I placed her again in the crib. But she immediately cried so I took her back and did the same. She slept again after few hours.

I looked at the clock to see it is already 8am. I placed her calmly in the crib and lay down to sleep for sometime. But I had to wake up with my phone ringing beside me. I looked at the time to see it is 9am.

"Hello!" I said picking it up.

"Pia! I am coming there. We need to work on few designs immediately and there is deadline until this weekend." She said rushing.

My eyes widened and I said "What? We need to finish it in two days."

"Yes! So I am coming there in 10minutes." She said hanging up.

I groaned and woke up to get ready. After getting ready I went downstairs holding the sleeping Angel to see him sitting on the couch. He must have slept very happily and I didn't get any sleep. That is not right he should share the responsibility.

"We need to talk." I said sitting beside him.

"Yes?" he asked shocked.

"You need to take care of angel too." I replied showing him the baby.

"I can't." he said shaking his head.

"Well I can't take care of everything. I have work for office and also in this house. So just take some responsibility." I said calmly.

"I will take care of the whole house for you and you just take care of her and ofcourse your work." Saying this he got up and left the house.

I looked at his retreating back with mouth wide open. Why is he not taking care of his own baby? Aunty was right! Getting him married was the best option for Angel.

 "What happened?" Nikki asked entering the house.

"Nothing! Angel just acted just what her age babies do and I am tired." I replied leaning on the couch.

"Didn't she do that yesterday?" she asked taking the angel from me.

"She slept so peacefully yesterday. She didn't wake me up at all. Maybe she was tired of crying for the whole week." I replied and went inside the kitchen to make some breakfast. But I saw that it is already prepared and placed neatly on the dining table.

I started eating it and it is not at all nice. I don't care that he made it but as he said if I let him take care of the house then we both will get ill soon. But I am not stepping back until he atleast take little responsibility of Angel.

After I ate and placed Angel in the baby trolley we both got down to work. It felt nice to work again and then I got it that he can't cook so he has to do like I said.

Nikki left after we finished nearly half work. In the evening when he returned he looked like hell I mean so tired.

I placed some tea and some biscuits infront of him when he flopped himself on the couch. He thanked me and started drinking it.

"Look you can't cook the food so I need to do it for sure. I am not asking you to give up your sleep but just try to help me a little atleast." I said very calmly.

"But.. but I can't." he stuttered.

"Ofcourse you can. Just do it!" I said glaring at him.

He glared back and said "I said I won't just leave it."

I got so angry that I hit him on the shoulder. He looked at me as if I am crazy and pulled me completely on him. I gasped and struggled from his grip.

"What are you doing? Leave me!" I said trying more.

He just sat there calmly and removed the hair fallen on my face with his fingertips. He looked at me and then moved a little closer kissing me on my forehead.

I fisted his coat in my hands and with huge force I pulled back. I closed my eyes for few seconds and opened them to glare at him.

"Don't you dare touch me again! As for the Angel you just take care of her otherwise I will leave this house. Because there is no need for me to stay here anymore." Saying this I went inside the kitchen to prepare the dinner.

After we both ate dinner calmly I went inside my room to see Angel sleeping. In few hours she will get up as usual so before that I will atleast catch some sleep.

Next day I woke up with the same tired eyes but I have to get up because I need to finish my work. I got ready and also got angel ready for the day.

We went downstairs and I gave her favorite toy to play with. I prepared the breakfast and at the same time I heard the door bell.

I opened the door to see all our friends standing infront of it with big smiles on their faces. We all went inside and they started playing with Angel while I prepared extra breakfast for them too.

After serving them I asked "So don't mind but what are you guys doing here so early?"

"Oh! Sorry about that but we three companies have same meeting to attend so we thought to go there together." Sush replied smiling.

"Three companies?" I asked confused.

"Dinesh is working in a company and he is M.D for it. And Rajeev is for M.D for Jaykar's. You know about mine right." He replied.

I nodded and continued to do my work on the dining table where everyone sat. Nikki and I started to work on the past designs which need little alteration. Then he entered the room little shocked seeing them but composed himself.

When he started going towards the couch I stopped him saying "Have some breakfast."

He turned towards me again little shocked but I ignore him and continued to do my work. He sat calmly beside me and completed eating.

When he was about to stand up I stopped him saying "Give a small hug to Angel and then leave for office."

"We are getting late." He said standing up completely.

"So? Just a small hug will not make you loss any money." I said looking at him but my tone is calm.

"It is not about the money. Leave the topic because whatever you are wishing will not happen." He said matching my tone.

"That is not my wish. That is your duty for god sake. She is small baby and don't you have atleast little affection for your own baby. Don't forget that she is your blood and also don't forget my yesterday warning." I said looking at him.

"Stop it! Just stop it! You don't know anything and you have no right to say anything to me. Like you are saying everyone that you married me for the baby right then be like that. No need to put your finger in everything." Saying or shall I say shouting he left the room.

And everyone looked at me worriedly but as for me I continued to work on my designs. They all sat in their places as statues. After few seconds he returned with slow steps and stood beside me.

"I am so sorry! I shouldn't have talked to you like that. I didn't mean any word I said trust me." He continued to say. But I didn't budge and didn't even look at him.

"I said I am sorry." He said again.

I sighed and looked at him asking "So?"

"I am really sorry." He said looking at me.

"Do I look like I care? Let me clear one thing for you Mr.Jaykar. I don't give a damn about what you say or what you do. So enter this information in that thick skull of yours." I said with as much calm as I can.

He looked at me in shock along with everyone. I gave one last look at him and then looked at my work to continue it.

"Let's go Aman. We are getting late." Rajeev said and dragged him from there. Everyone left me and Nikki alone after bidding their 'Bye'.

"Pia! I know he shouldn't have shouted at you but you are being colder to him than to anyone." Nikki said calmly.

"Well I think he doesn't care how I behave with him. I mean he doesn't care about his own daughter then who am I. I am just his so called wife who came here to take care of his baby like he said." I said and drowned myself into the work.

I don't know why you don't want to be close to your daughter but I will make you for sure. I thought determining my main aim.
