hoseok didn't come to the park
or university
for a week.
i tried not to think much
of it.

"park jimin!"
i shouted
over all the voices
in the hallway.
his now black hair
moved as he looked at me
in fear.

"y-yes?"
he asked,
slowly walking towards me.
he looked
completely terrified.

"where does hoseok live?"
i asked in full confidence,
needing to be sure
he was okay.

"why do you want to know?"
he leaned against the lockers,
a curious look on his face.

"i want to make sure
that he's okay."
everyone knows
that i am not a liar.
so he knew
i was telling the truth.
