Erica walked into the small cabin her and Victoria used. She moved to the back room, knowing that was where her sister would be waiting for her.
Erica moved the small window without sparing her sister a glance. She gazed outward, watching silently for any sign of movement.
"You might want to leave," Erica broke the silence. "I think they might have followed me, I tried to shake them but there was this one wolf. He never got too close, never strayed o far. He even went as far as snapping at the others when they got too close."
Vitoria slunk closer, her voice as quiet and gentle as Erica's was. "What are you talking about?"
"I killed Laurent." The blonde ignored the question. "He was there to kill the little pet, made it seem like he was doing it from the kindness of his heart."
Victoria scoffed, she stepped up behind Erica in the window. Light streamed through the window, illuminating their faces ever so slightly causing them to sparkle.
"I never much cared for this dreary little cabin anyways," Victoria spoke tenderly. "We can get you away for a few days, maybe head down south."
"We haven't been to the south in while," Erica concedes.
The redhead hugged her sister tightly, laughing softly. "I'm thinking Texas."
Erica didn't answer right away, instead she stared out the window, her eyes set on the hidden being in the tree line. By the way Victoria kept glancing, she knew someone was there as well.
The scent hadn't reached her yet, the intruder standing downwind, but she could still make out the pumping of their heart, the way they stand still. She had no doubt that he ad succeeded in following her.
"Vicky, why don't you go on ahead? I'll clean up here and follow you shortly." Erica gave her sister a gentle push leading her out of the home. "Don't let them see you," She whispered, her words breathed out so they were barely audible.
Victoria disappeared as fast as she appeared, the girl's survival instinct forcing her to obey her sister. Erica watched her go as far as she possibly could, making certain that the intruder never moved.
She was calm and composed as she stepped into the bright sunlight. Her skin sparkled, giving the appearance that she was covered in millions of diamonds.
The bushes shook as a large grey wolf stepped forward hesitantly. He panted, his tongue lolled out of his mouth. Their eyes were wide, as if he had seen the sun for the very first time.
She took the time to rally look at the thing. He was large, easily towering over her petite frame. The colour of his fur was a deep grey, a tone that could easily blend. His eyes were a soft brown, and she wondered if the human's eyes looked the same.
"You followed me, you're faster than the others," she spoke emotionlessly.
The wolf shuffled uncomfortably. Its body shook violently, but nothing seemed to happen. His eyes attempted to burn holes into her skin.
"Are you going to show me your skin? Because I refuse to speak to an animal." He didn't make any movement. "I'm growing annoyed. I will not hesitate to kill you, if you're lucky I'll just leave you here. I have places to be."
The wolf whimpered at and moved closer unconsciously. His shaking grew worse.
Seeing him turn from fur to skin was interesting to say the least. His fur disappeared into nothing, his skin pulled over his body. His bones snapped each cracking sound making her want to flinch. She never minded the sound of breaking bones before, but not when I wasn't a game.
"You're rather tall, do all of the wolves look the same in appearance?" Erica asked as soon as he stood straight. "Does that hurt? Do you have any special abilities as a wolf like us vampires do?"
The boy stood stock still, an expression of confusion and anger flickering on his features. It was easy for her to recognize his anger, an emotion she had seen of her brother far too many times. She fell into a defensive position.
"Why did you follow me?" She ground out through clenched teeth.
"You were there to kill that girl," he seethed. "You killed all those people around town last year."
A smirk slipped onto her face. "I have killed many people, I take pride in that, but I was not going to kill the little human."
Horror flashed in his eyes briefly before anger replaced it. "You-"
"I was going to turn her," Erica interrupted him. "Give her immortality."
The wolf man stopped speaking in disbelief, his eyes grazed her face looking for any signs of her lying. "What?" his voice was squeaked out.
"I was going to sink my teeth into her jugular, drink her until she reached the cusp of death, then I was going to change her. She shows signs of possessing a wonderful gift. Incredibly useful for what I have planned." Erica let her hatred seep forward, redirecting it towards the boy.
"What plans?" he asked cautiously.
"What's your name?" she purred, fluttering her eyelashes for extra effect. He smelt so good, better, sweeter than Bella ever had and her throat burned terribly. She would find a way to make him let her, an easy distraction from what was previously said.
He gulped. "Paul Lahote," he stammered.
"I'm Erica." Paul smirked, all shyness disappearing.
"No last name?" he spoke cockily.
Erica tilted her head to the side, letting her blonde hair fall into her face ever so slightly.
"I'm afraid I can't remember it, me and my brother never bothered with it. We constantly went around changing it as human's."
Paul flinched as she reminded him that she wasn't human. She rolled her eyes in irritation.
Erica lifted her hand to her throat, rubbing at the ache that lingered just beneath her stone skin. Her eyes were nearly consumed in black, the regular crimson nearly completely consumed. She was able to push the pain away, only showing that she was hurting as a show for him.
As expected, his eyes narrowed on her movement. He looked conflicted; sorrow, pain and disgust flooded his eyes.
"What is it?" Paul asked in concern, unconsciously stepping forward.
"I'm just- I need to feed, I haven't in so long," Erica trailed off and made a sure of running at her throat and wincing harshly.
The wolf looked uncomfortable, he silently pressed a finger to the pulse on his wrist. She watched his movements carefully, willingly for him to offer, eyes pleading with him.
Erica wasn't stupid to think that he hated this. By the look on his face he was picturing the person that she would feed from; by the way he eyed his own pulse, he wanted to offer up himself.
"I'm sorry, it just hurts so much," she shook her head slowly. "You just- your scent is better than I have ever experienced. You're driving me crazy."
A gleam filled his eyes and she knew she had him hooked.
"You can feed from me," his voice was choked.
Erica was filled with glee. She could feel her eyes turning pitch black, her mouth filled with venom. She was in front of him in a second, the unnatural heat radiating from his body felt like a blessing against her icy skin.
She extended her hand, touching the pulse that laid just beneath the skin of his throat gently. He shivered at her touch.
"The venom is poisonous to werewolves," Paul stuttered.
She guided him to the ground so he was sitting and straddled his waist. She leaned in close, her lips hovered over the artery.
"I'll be careful, gentle," she whispered in his ear.
Her mouth latched to his neck, teeth sinking into the vein.

So I knew that this doesn't seem like something that out baby Paul would do because of his deep hatred for vampires BUT I would like for you all to keep in mind that he has imprinted on a vampire and that entitles wanting to do anything for her.
now that , that is over..... I think this is pretty damn good, if I do say so myself.
