VVIP
Archie POV
Breathing felt so hard as I clench my black shirt as if easing the anxiety I felt. Felt suffocated but I don't know why whether it was because the place reek of alcohol or my breath its felt suffocating.
'okay Archie you need to calm down' I said to myself taking slow and steady breaths as I stumble on the stool I sat on. I was just being dramatic because of a kiss? Not that me and Matilda hasn't kissed before but this one was intense and wild mixed with so much passion.
Speaking of kisses, where is Zephaniah? As I thought of that flashed my mind. I started scanning the room for her. Then I saw her, I barely saw her as a huge man in black was talking to her.
Wait backup wasn't that the security man from earlier, the one Zephaniah tired seducing? I remembered him because of the baldness of his head that shined like oil in the flashy lights.
Soon after, the two of them walked out with Zephaniah taking the lead.
'where the fuck are they going' I asked myself till I see her open the door with a visible light signboard slightly on top of the black wooden door, VVIP
How did she manage to get there? I think I was asking too much question already with no one answered.
She was actually going to meet Wilson??!? But I couldn't leave her alone with him. I know things are awkward with us about the kiss. All this things are just in my head. With all this thoughts in my mind I decided to walk up to them but was stopped by the hand of the bald security.
"No one is allowed here" he said sternly with his dark shades of no emotion.
"Then why is Chloe going there" I asked annoyed.
"Cause she was called" he said nonchalantly.
"By who?" I asked surprisingly curious.
"Mr. Wilson"
"Why" I asked bluntly.
"No one knows" he said as if it's been something said on a daily based.
I tried to sound unconcern but worry settled on me as soon as she engulfed into the dark room. I walked back to the bar tapping my foot on the tile staring at the door, waiting for it to open.
I tried to calm down and figured I could talk to her over the glasses.
"Zephaniah?" I called trying to sound calm but I got no response. Could she probably have dropped the glasses but why? I figured I just had to wait and see then as I sip another glass of lip savor.
Zephaniah POV
Entering the VVIP room as I close the door behind me and the room became dead quiet. The music coming to an end and low sentimental music playing in the background giving a peaceful atmosphere but still I felt unease.
The room has its own bar counter in red polished wooden shelf with gold lining and the starry sky illuminated the room that the low lightening just made it chiller. In here it felt as if time froze or had a very slow pace.
The clicks of my shoes were the only sound I heard feeling my heart racing as I didn't know what to expect. So phased in my own fall out. I didn't see the shadow that loomed in front of me.
"Chloe?" the masculine voice said making me to stare up into a pair of black and blue eyes.
"And you are?" I asked trying to keep my cool even tho my body did the exact opposite.
"I'm the one who called you here" he said standing away a little allowing me to take his appearance in.
His white skin complimented his blue straight short hair and his black cute eyes that shone a glimpse of blue in the sky blue lights. He wore a light blue long sleeve shirt with a nice pair of black trouser. A austere casual attire.
"And why is that?" I asked trying to seem a little offended.
"Saw you dancing and that place isn't your best suit" he figured.
"What do you know about my suit" I said and he looked shocked for a second.
"Do you want a glass?" he offers.
I figured I shouldn't get too interested in him but I don't think he will give in
"I think I've had too much already"
"I figured so there isn't alcohol just juice"
"Oh" was all I could say.
"So you new here?" he asked as he pour out for two glasses.
"What makes you say that?" I said as panic settled in a little.
"It's quite obvious, from your alcohol and dancing in the centre and then the cute sexy outfit" he said looking at me giving me the chance to actually see his face and his quite good looking.
"Guess I couldn't hide it then" I said taking a sip.
"So tell me more about you Chloe?" he asked.
"Oh....I'm over here to visit my uncle and..." he cuts in.
"No not that but something no one knows" he said shocking me completely.
"Not to be rude but I'll trust my gut to not open up to a stranger and met few minutes ago" I said taking a seat across him.
"Fair"
"So tell me more about you... you know something no one knows"
"Okay but what I can tell you is trust no one actually...." He said confusing me the more.
"You see I created this club to free my stress, business is a hassle tho but we do good" he continues.
"So what business in particular?" I asked curious.
"That's classified!" he said in that serious tone earlier and tensing the atmosphere.
"But what's the deal with you actually, a random black girl in a club taking the party with sexy dance moves and outfits" he asked changing the topic and I liked that.
"I'm stressed just like you" I said of a truth.
"Being a business man for a time, I know when someone is stressed and blatantly lying and your lying" he said and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"from the bag of balls behind your eyes and the stress lines written in your forehead and your uplifted posture, its looks wore off but because you are so used to it you don't know when its overdue" he continued and he looked at my eyes as if looking for the answer to his theory.
"And that is a fake smile" he said taking a sip.
I looked blankly at him not knowing what to say.
"So I am right?" he asked and as to avoid it. Gulp my drink in one go
"Are you okay?" he asked closing the gap between us.
"Yeah, I just need some air" I said trying to slow my fast breath.
The black man in suit walks up to us and whispers into Wilson ear as his whole smile and funny demeanor suddenly wipes off making me a little confused with fear.
"I need to go" he said standing up hastily in a rush.
"Anything wrong?" I asked figuring I needed more time with him.
"Have a good night Chloe" he said avoiding my curious gaze.
"What happened did he find out!?! I hastily wore on my glasses trying to catch up with him through the crowd. I saw Archie over the counter in the main party room outside the VVIP coming over to him.
"Wilson is leaving" I said panting.
"What happened?" Archie asked as I ignored him.
"Levi! Wilson is getting to the front door be ready to get him" I said trying to keep him in sigh but it was hard.
"No one is going out" Levi sounded alarmed.
How? Where did he go?
I push through the crowd filling the worry and anxiety settled into me. How did Wilson get out but most especially who tipped us off? It's such a coincidence that's it's exactly when we were about stepping out. Maybe too much of a coincidence.
The thoughts pooling in my mind. I got through the front door getting out into the lonely dark alley. Not a single trace of Wilson.
"How?" I whisper out loud. Trying to let this sink in but I just couldn't accept it.
"Zephaniah....his gone" Archie said mildly.
"He was with me. I had him but all the sudden he just left why?" I asked all the questions that didn't make meaning to me.
"dad...Wilson is gone the mission is over" Archie said over the glasses but I was too lost to be aware of the things around me.....
That's a wrap!! Too bad for Zephaniah! What do you think about mr Wilson? Keep your amazing thoughts flowing loves and expect the next chapter very soon promise!!!! Have a great day!!
