Zephaniah POV

Archie explained to me his 'Carson proof' plan, it was very detailed but any little mishap could ruin the whole operation.

But that didn't seem to dispirit me cause of the self-belief he had over the plan.

Soon after we heard Carson's car pull over, we speedily cleaned up anywhere that could seem suspicious. I hid the half-heart necklace in my bedside drawer.

Archie earlier told me that Matilda visit should also be kept a secret so my lips were sealed.

When Carson opened the front door, I was coming out of the kitchen drinking a glass of water and as for Archie he was busy with his phone nonchalantly.

"Archie how was your day?" he asked stressed out at least he wasn't skeptically of anything.

"Boring yours" Archie answered with unconcern conserved in his tone.

"Good" Carson said promptly.

"Good?" Archie asked equally as surprised as me but I didn't show it.

"Yeah, good! Cause you have a mission today, well both of you" Carson said momentarily looking between me and Archie.

"We flunked the other one what makes you so sure in this one?" Archie asked.

"you just need to get files from a secured gala party" he said in the obvious  easier-said-than-done tone.

Everywhere fell silence. He handled us some files while Levi handled us outfits.

As Levi gave me my outfits, his payback stare at me was still apparent flaming in his black eyes and I didn't hesitant to give him the same favor.

"Everything you need to know about the mission is in there, if there's any question ask on the trip to the gala or during dinner" Carson said. I could tell he wasn't in a good mood today and I was curious to why.

All me and Archie did was nodded.

We leisurely upstairs to our separate rooms.

As I closed the door behind me, I breathe for armistice as the first stage of the plan worked which is to clear any form of suspicious on us with Carson.

I still have to behave as the cold typical Zephaniah too, to clear off any mindset that I care for Archie as he mentioned last night.

I grabbed the files going through it. It was another Mr. Wilson heist.

What's the deal with Carson and Wilson even?

What surprised me the most was I wasn't supposed to talk to Mr. Wilson or even have contact with him.

I'll have to ask Carson later.

The mission was practically easy, get the files, get out as soon as possible and boom! We're done.

I decided to take a look at the outfit I was given it looked really beautiful but first I had to take a quick hot bath. It was already evening and the sky was getting dark.

After my bath I got dressed and came out for dinner. Strolling down the stairs as I looked towards the dining table, Levi and Carson were on all black outfits then Archie was on a dashing suit. I almost forgot how handsome he his.

He looked older than a teenager unlike slim me.

"So any questions?" Carson asked once I sat down across him, next to Archie.

"Yeah, my file says I shouldn't talk to Wilson, why?" I asked feeling I shouldn't have because of the what-the-fuck expression Carson shot at me.

"you two talked at the VVIP, he has seen you and it's too risky to try and avoid him, only Archie can talk to him but only briefly if he can" Carson explained as he took a bite out of his beed and I gave a curt nod.

The remaining time in the dining table was silent eating and I was grateful for that.

Not long after we go out to the luxurious car park and entered cinto a black sleet limousine car.

Alright now, I love this mission, too bad I couldn't show my excitement.

We drove out of the high metal gates down to the road in the dark darkness of night as the headlights illuminated  our pathway to only where God knows where......

"Your mission tonight  is to get enough information on Minister Wilson he's a young businessman. although his young his mind is very Swift and smart too so be careful and get his fingerprints for the mission to be successful".

Says Carson will, the leader of the arms deal gang the Lords.

He is presently in a black limousine dressed in a black outfit.

Across him in the limousine is his son, Archie will and his prisoner Zephaniah Sin.

"here" carson says as he hands them a pair of fancy mask to fit their outfits as Archie wore a white tortoise vest  embraced with black tuxs while he is given a black shiny mask with white and black feathers at the side.

While Zephaniah wore a gold glittering dinner gown with a deep V line and gold shimmer pearl net sleeves with gold straps heels.

"The masks have a camera in it... yes mobiles are not allowed... knowing wilson  his aware of his enemies around..."carson says

Archie just simply nods. Suddenly they hear the screening sounds of the tires brakes.

Shortly the limo door automatically opens and zephaniah steps out first alongside archie but he was stopped by the dominating voice of his father.

"Don't fuck up archie" he says looking Straight forward across the driver's mirror.

"Of course"archie says as the door closes shortly and drives off.

Archie breathes deeply as he looks up at the building in front of him.It has the inscription

"LIGHT CAST HOTEL"

Hey bees!!! For those who don't remember this is the epilogue of cold embrace!!! The first chapter of cold embrace and it brings me joy that very soon I'll be rounding up for season one

Season two will be available very soon but I have to announce that I start school soon.
