Zephaniah POV

My head ached and felt like being crushed to the sun. My heart clench everytime i tried to think. My whole body aching with this never ending pain and agony. Was this how being hurt felt like. I'm not even sure.

That man. The leader i persumed to be the mastermind of all this was in front of me and the boy i assume to be my age was sitting next to me. He looked lost and distant and conflicted and as much as i wanted to stare at him. My body couldn't let me.

I unconciously closed my eyes and for a second i saw all the screams, blood, the disappointed look of ezra, her cold body lay lifeless on the floor.

I shake off my body as if to shake off the heavy guilt i felt as a cold shiver went through my spine.

My train of thoughts came to a stop as i hear the screening sound of the breaks. I looked out the window but we were in the middle of a lonely road.

What are they gonna do to me? Kill me and dump me here? But no the leader needs me or i just convinced myself that i was needed.

Soon after  the two men in front got down and i followed down too.

"We are camping here for the night" the leader said.

"Carson please help me with the car" the other guy said. The guy who shoot ezra. I will sure remember to seek revenge later....

It was already getting dark the sky giving a orange shade. We were deep in the forest. Sleeping bags set and that killer was making dinner. I wasn't really brothered about anything. I didn't really have  an appetie after all.

The Ferrari  was covered with leaves as camouflage . The little fire made  with burning ashes in the air didn't make anything warm at all. I just felt colder and colder and i just wanted to freeze to dead.

Sitting in the corner not to far from site. The boy around my age walked up to me.

"Here's your food" he said stretching it towards me. I just shrugged it off. The sweet aroma of the brown soup lured me but the sight of it made me think back to the think smoldering blood that stained the white wall of high tech.

Soon after he left and just laid on the thin sleeping bag with my back to the ground. The sky was stunning as there was a full moon tonight and the full moons always get the prettiest stars.

The cricket sounds of insect noises around made the night a movie scenery of a cold romantic night but that was totally the opposite for me.

I couldn't sleep. Anytime i close my eyes, the hurt and pain in ezra blue eyes or the pain of the bullet on my left arm. The dead body of louis, alex, lisa.......

My hands touched my left upper arm. It sting at the slight touch but i could still feel the bullet. It was too deep but i could pull it out.

I looked around me. Carson and levi were alseep. I walked carefully so as not to wake them up. Scoping the forest it was thick and the trees were large like canopies but the light from the moon shone brighter than anything around.

As i walked deeply into the forest a scenery so beautiful that i was fortunate to come upon. There was a lake and it glitters like star dust was splotch on it just perfectly.

I walked slowly toward it memorize in such classiness. It seen as if if i torn my gaze off it was all disappear leaving me with nothing or no one.
