"Aditi!" She winced as she heard her boss call her name.  Aditi was just a starting intern at the Zee magazine. Zee magazine was recently a new magazine that covered Bollywood stars for Indian British audiences and Aditi was a true lover for inside scoop on Bollywood celebrities but her position at the magazine company wasn't as glamorous as she expected.

Aditi forced a fake smile, "Neela. What can I do for you?" She wasn't too fond of her boss as she didn't assign Aditi to follow any juicy gossip.

"All of my best reporters are off tracking our valuable money making celebrities. I need you on a case."

"A-a case?" Aditi said stunned. She had been waiting for this but she didn't expect it so soon.

"Yes. my little birds have spotted this girl with Rohan Chopra and I want all the info you've got."

"Um Neela...why are we tracking a business man?" Aditi asked once she realized that she was talking about the wealthy heir.

"Rohan.... isn't just any business man. Him and his family all  have strong ties with Bollywood." Neela said giving Aditi a pointed look, "I need you to find out everything about this girl and her relationship with Rohan."

"Okay I'm on it." Aditi said to turn to her computer, still slightly disappointed on her assigned topic.

"Oh and Aditi when I said I had all my best reporters busy, I lied you're partnering up with Raj."

"Neela!" Aditi exclaimed before she could control herself. Raj was one person that Aditi tried her best to ignore at work. He was a major pain in the ass so to speak.

"Oyye partner."

Aditi sighed. Speak of the devil and he shall appear....

"Raj." She said closing her eyes and silently counting to three.  When she opened them as she faced with his lopsided smiled staring back at her.

"Chalo. We have a job to do. Here is everything that I know about the girl so far." Raj dug through his drawers and handed Aditi a vanilla envelope.

Before Aditi could retort, Raj looked up to her with a serious  "Look whether you like me or not. We are partners now. Let's get this article done and then we can go back to ignoring each other."  Aditi was shocked with his behavior. While Raj was flirty and semi annoying, he was still focused on his work as she was beginning to find out.

As Aditi and Raj worked on their case, Jenila was in for the shock of her life.

"So you two know each then?" Mrs Chopra clapped her hands, "Perfect the two of you will work on this project." She smiled figuring out the solution to their problem.

"Mom." Rohan settling out of his shock, "What are you doing here?" His mother was the last person he expected to see in the office.

Anjali smiled, "I had to come and talk to you about things."

"Then I ran into Jenila here." She continued . "Honestly Rohan you could tell your staff be to nicer."

"Sorry ma but we already have someone in mind for the position." Rohan said cautioniously not wanting to hurt Jenila or his mother.

"Well I guess you're going to be hiring two people for the position today."

"Mom-"

"Don't worry, I will talk to your father and Jenila see very qualified and dedicated."

"Okay and what will dad say?"  Rohan crossed his arms. His father was not always reliable to count on his side but when it come to business Mr. Chopra tended to take Rohan's side-mostly.

Anjali smiled, "Has your father ever said no to me beta?"

Rohan shook his head...Remembering that if he knew that his father got involved, he would never deny his mother's wishes despite being a business honcho.

"Good then. Here you go beta. Tomorrow the both of you need to go here and check out the plot of land." Anjali handed Jenila and Rohan the files and left the office.

Jenila turned to Rohan, "I'm so sorry. I truly had no idea. I can quit if that-" she blurt out nervously. She may have ruined the man's entire day.

Rohan's eyes widen, "If you do that, my mom will have my head." He sighed. His mom was someone that once they commit to something, they will follow through.

"I guess you're stuck with me." She said playfully hoping to lighten the mood. She promised that she would hard twice as hard as the person that was also given this job.

"Sorry." Jenila respond when she got no response back Rohan, who was frantically looking for papers in his office.

He rolled his eyes, "Don't be. We're partners now. You help me and I'll help you."

Jenila only nodded. She had no idea what she was in store for.
