~Hiccup's P.O.V~

It has been weeks since the incident took place, but finally I'm out of the hospital thankfully. Astrid has been by my side all the way to home. She has been calm which is good for her and she's been worried watching her back all the time. I'm getting worried about her, she has been quite odd lately and I hope this will change soon, as long as people won't suspect her everything should be okay.  Oh yeah we had our graduation, but I wasn't there in person, I was there virtually. It felt weird but we did it.

I did all of my work in the hospital but I wasn't failing at all, was able to to pass and heading to Berk University. But this made me wonder what Astrid will do now since we finally graduated. Knowing her, I'd do the same if I have to watch my back because of the things I did. So I hope I can keep her occupied and spend time with her this summer, luckily she was able to afford a car to use.

As we got out of the car she made sure I was good enough to walk to the door at my home.

"Astrid"I chuckle"I'm good, you don't have to-"

"Zip it Hiccup! I'm making sure you don't trip"She says in her bossy tone, as we enter my home.

"Yes ma'am!"I said playfully, looking at her with a smirk.

"Oh don't give me that look"She chuckle.

I smile and then call out for my cat.

"Toothless I'm home!!"

Suddenly we heard a lot of noises upstairs and saw Toothless quickly ran up to me as he starts purring, walking around me in circles.

"I miss you too bud"I said to him as I waddle myself to the living room.

Toothless then went to Astrid as he begins to purring again.

"Awww you're so cute!"Astrid squeal, petting Toothless.

"Your parents should be home soon, I told them you were discharged early"Astrid said, while we sat together on the couch.

She sighs heavily and face planted"I'm so tired".

"Why don't you rest for abit"I suggested to her, putting my cane on the side.

"I don't want to"She yawns, as she gets closer to me.

I slightly blush but allow myself to be well relax, I then glance over at my foot which is now a prosthetic that I have to get used of. I couldn't help but to feel sad but I know I had to take a risk for it.

"Hiccup"Astrid says, softly.

"Hmm"I respond.

"I'm sorry"She whispers, like she was about to cry.

I then reach over her hands as I stare at her gorgeous eyes, knowing by the look of her. She looks stressed and worried, I couldn't help but to feel sad with her but I couldn't help it so I then wrap my arms around her and hugged tightly.

"Astrid, you don't have to feel sorry for yourself, we both know what we have to go through. I'm just glad that I can be with you, to help you understand, and to forgive yourself. Just remember I care about you"I guess Jen look at her again and smile, while my tears start coming down on my cheeks.

"Thanks Hiccup"Astrid smile, wiping off her tears and relax upon my chest.

"You're welcome"I whisper to her ear as we then decided to relax quietly and fell asleep together.

We stayed like this for couple hours until I heard the door opening, I was the one that was awake but Astrid was still asleep, so I gently placed her on the couch and cover her up with a blanket.

I then also notice her phone has been buzzing, so I check and her mom texted. I couldn't help but I texted back and said that she's here with me. Her Mom was relieved and glad I'm with her.

I put the phone down and continue to the front to see if that was my parents coming in.

"Mom? Dad?"I called out, as I waddle to the front and spot them.

"Hiccup! "Mom cries out, running towards to give me a tight hug.

"Hey Mom!"I grunted"hey Dad!".

"Hiccup! Welcome home son!"He then embraces us as we have a moment together.

After the hug they let go and glance down at my foot.

"Is that prosthetic foot working out for you?"Dad asks, examining my foot.

"It's alright, I just need more time to adjust this new feeling"I said"sometimes I can't stand very long, unless I practiced my balancing".

"You just got out of the hospital, you'll improve"Mom gave me another hug and make her way to the living"I take it you didn't get here on your own?".

"Astrid dropped me off"I walk back to the living room as we saw Astrid still sound asleep.

"Awe look at her, she's very beautiful. She'll make excellent grand babies!"Mom says cheerfully.

"Mom!"I groan"she can hear you".

"I'm only joking Son"Mom nudges my arm and left the room.

"Oh don't jinx it"I chuckle.

"So Son, are you still planning to go to Berk University?"Mom says, as we're in kitchen.

"Yes"I said"I'm going".

"Oh wonderful! This is good! My boy is growing up too fast!"Mom says proudly.

I smile, and then walk back in the living room until I heard groaning. I look over and saw Astrid waking up

"How long was I out?"She groans, stretching up.

"About an hour, my parents are here"I said, as I waddle to the balcony as she follows.

"Jheeeze I must've been tired!"She exclaimed, as we sat together outside the balcony to enjoy the view of the sunset.

"Oh! I texted your mom to know you're here with me"I point out, as we were close each other feeling this awkwardness again.

"Ah Mother, she's all I got now"She sighs"I wonder if she will trust me, or how will she react if she found out about me".

"She's your mother"I point out"she wouldn't abandon you of what you are".

"I know"She slightly chuckle"maybe I'm over thinking to the fact that Jack will figure it out, and why you got involved with the incident. Heck people will know soon".

"Astrid nobody's gonna get you. I can promise you that"I sworn to her.

She giggled"oh you, always so passion. That's why I like about you. Strong & always caring".

She reach over my hand"thanks for standing by my side" and resting her head against my shoulder.

"No problem. Everything will be okay, let's enjoy our summer break!"I cheerfully praise.

We both then look at the sunset as we then got closer to each other and cuddle abit on the balcony.

"This is nice"She whispers, getting to a comfortable position.

"Awww so adorable!!"

We got alerted and look over seeing my Mom standing there by the back door while taking a picture.

"Say cheeese!!".

Her cellphone flashes at us as Astrid laughed while I'm embarrassed.

"Mom!!!"
