~Astrid's P.O.V~

Currently we're in my room trying to connect the dots as much as possible if this ongoing killing continues on, or it's just too coincidence. But hearing Hiccup say Jack. It would've created suspicion because when I asked him to help to find Hiccup that day.

He didn't question it at first, but He is smart. Jack would've figure it out the truth.

This puts me in a tough position to watch my back for now on.

"We can't be uncertain"I said, breaking the silence.

"He's only person that almost knows what you are literally. After rescuing me from Grimmel, He could've figured out"Hiccup sat back down on my bed and could tell he's very worried of this.

I shrug and sat back at my chair"What if we're just over exaggerating. This can be all coincidence. After all Berk City is huge".

We both exchanged looks of curiosity and worried. Until something in my head came up with an idea.

"I got an idea"I spoke up.

Hiccup faces lit up"what's that?".

I chuckle nervously"you may not like it".

Half Hour later

We're distance away from the crime scene that's still currently ongoing and the police are all over the area. We're casually sitting or standing form a hill view area and have a tiny binoculars.

"Are you kidding me?! This is not safe, for you"Hiccup whispers to me as we're quite a long distance from the scene.

I glanced back at him, determination on my face"look Hiccup, I want to see if the police finds anything, clues, or whatever crime stuff they do nowadays".

"This is real stuff Astrid, we're literally inches away from our lives to be catastrophic"

"Babe, you worry too much. I can handle myself"I tease, playfully tap his cheek.

"Jheeze you"Hiccup mumbles.

We continue on glancing at the crime scene, without being spotted or looking so suspicious at all.

From my experience, I wouldn't even leave a trail that'll led back to me. But we been in this cafe quite awhile knowing we would have to move somewhere else.

I kept playing with my hands under the table as I felt so anxious to check it out, but I couldn't help myself. Knowing that there's a copycat or unrelated tragedy of my blood path.

Hiccup then spoke as he jolt up"looks like they're finishing up? Usually takes awhile".

"I guess they just concluded"I said, as we start making our way down the hill while the police drove right past us.

Hiccup gave me a concern and worried look right after the last police vehicle drove by.

"See, we're fine"I assured him, as we walk cross to the scene.

Luckily enough no one isn't around to see us snoopy about the scene. We then stop our tracks as we scan around the area knowing the police have just left.

"Right, let's see if we can find anything that's seems unusual"I instructed, as we began looking around to find anything at all.

I kept looking down on the grass as there has been a lot of movement that was left behind of whatever happened that drastic moment with this person who is now deceased.

I held my breath in as I look the entire area and try to play this out on how this copycat managed to persuade his or her prey, within a third time this summer.

I sigh heavily, constantly thinking what goes wrong here, why this and why now.

"Astrid"Hiccup interrupted my thoughts as he place his hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah?"

"I feel it too, something is wrong"He says, looking back at the area.

"The police said they've found a playing card in the scene. Could be a lead or not"I doubt myself.

"What would you do, if you were...you know"He nervously rubs the back of his head.

I scoffed"I wouldn't even leave anything to be honest, you know what's my body count".

"You never told me"He point out"but I don't wanna know".

"Well I'm very professional of my ugh! Not my hobby anymore thing"I then lean against a tree"I just don't get it, something tells me I'm being followed, I'm being Watched".

"You're not being followed, look Berk City is a huge place with several districts. It cannot be coincidence enough to know someone out there knows what you did but me"He explains.

"Are you saying this is pointless?"I declared in slight anger.

"Nooo I'm not saying that, I'm just trying to say is don't worry about it"He pleads, stepping closer to me.

I slightly looked away but couldn't help from his presence near my view.

"Let's go home, there's nothing here that connects to you"He held my hand.

I sigh in disappointment and couldn't resist"alright fine, let's go home".

Hiccup nods his head as he peeked a smile.

We left the scene as we climb back up the hill on the walk path.

"I guess you're right Hiccup, I don't think there's any connection to me"I said to him.

"See, you just gotta relax, don't look back, just look on forward"He cheerfully said.

Once we got to the car and drove back home, it was already dark. On the ride home we listen to the radio, changing channels.

"Wow it's late"I spoke out, glancing at my passenger side window, seeing the light traffic.

"You bet, and I'm famished"He exclaimed, turning to the right.

I lean back on the seat as I felt disappointed"you're right".

"What's that?"Hiccup quickly glance over to me.

"There's nothing to worry about"I said, looking over at him.

"See what did I tell you"He slightly chuckles"we're good".

"Yeah"I rolled my eyes in a playful expression.

We finally then pull in at my home as I walked out of the car and waved Hiccup goodbye.

"I'll see you tomorrow!"He called out, driving away to his place which is few blocks away.

I then unlock the door and went inside my home, knowing my Mom isn't home quite yet. I led out my arms to stretch and felt something on the floor.

I shook off and look down to see a piece of envelop

"I guess the mail came?"I said to myself

Without second thoughts I opened the envelope and seeing the small stamp on the side that addressed to me.

As I pull out a letter, I felt chills for no odd reason. When I glaze at the letter...My eyes widen as I read the words
