A man was running through the Forest, as he was afraid and running out of breath, walking through the bushes, pushing away branches and try to lose whomever was chasing him. Until he suddenly trips and twisted his ankle, he grunts in pain as he looks away panicking if that person stopped following him.

Then a silhouette figure appear, moving away the branches and walk towards him.

"Stay away!"He cried, struggling to crawl back.

That person smiled and pull out her knife.

"Astrid please! I love you!"Hiccup begs.

"Oh Hiccup. I'm so sorry about this"Astrid said in a nonchalantly tone.

"P-Please! You don't have to do this!"He begs, looking straight at Astrid.

Astrid closed her eyes and slashed him, she then starts whimpering"I'm sorry!".

Astrid then pull out the knife, hearing the grunts of Hiccup collapsing on the ground. Astrid stand up look up in the air as it was slowly raining, she looks at her hands as they shake uncontrollably.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!"Astrid cried out, as she stood up and pants away from her bed.

Astrid looked around her room as she was sweating away, realizing it was just a dream. Astrid sobs glancing down at her hands as it was uncontrollably shaken. She then starts crying as her tears starts falling...

The Day After the Incident...

Hiccup was just sitting on his hospital bed, still trying to get all the rest he needed, he only woke up nearly a week ago. But still in some pain. He slightly struggle to reach over his juice box.

And then his door open which reveal Astrid, closing the door behind her.

"Hey Hiccup"She greets walking towards and realizing he was reaching over his juice box in a struggle manner.

"Ugh hey Astrid!"Hiccup slightly grunts, but Astrid gave him assistance.

"You know you can call for help Hiccup"Astrid points out.

"I know"He groans"I just don't want to feel so helpless".

"You're not helpless, you're just incapacitated at that moment"Astrid sits down, pulling her chair closer.

Hiccup slightly smile and reach over her hand, as they touch"how was your day?".

Astrid sighs, squeezing his hand"okay I guess, I can't get this unforgettable feeling".

"It's okay, I'm sure we'll work this out. I can promise you that"Hiccup declares.

Astrid then looks at him with worried eyes"I'm scared".

"Don't worry, whatever what happens. I'm there for you"

They both stare at each other and smile, both have been through a lot this past month. Over the past month Grimmel has been tracking Astrid down and was able to locate her in Berk City, giving him the advantage to play with her by using Hiccup as bait along with the help of Heather.

However, Grimmel was defeated and that leaves Heather to leave Berk City, unless she's still here. Now that both have finally get to be together and try to live a normal life, Astrid on the other hand couldn't stop thinking about her bad deeds and that people will eventually find out about her true secret. She nearly gave it away when she asked Jack for help but it may cause suspicions for him towards Astrid.

Astrid wouldn't bare enough to hurt Hiccup more, but she knows he really loves her, and that no other human being loves her that much, it changed her. Astrid have to find ways of figuring this out and how long she has to make things right.

If Astrid leaves or turn herself in, everything is over and a whole big trial will go down in history. Astrid thought about leaving for awhile but she wanted to stay with Hiccup, because he needs her right now and she wants to be with him.

While in Hiccup's hospital, both were just watching tv or playing board games, Astrid kept staring at the city view of the window.

Hiccup taps her shoulder"hey, you okay?".

Astrid blinks constantly"uhh yeah! Sorry, I'm just you know"She stammers.

Hiccup place his hand on her shoulder for reassurance"don't worry, nothing will ever happen to you".

Astrid then rest herself next to him as both star back at the tv.

~Astrid's P.O.V~

As I watched Hiccup trying to keep his balance as he hold on the bars of trying to walk but his legs kept shaking as he only has one foot. It has been a week already and he recovered very quickly which I'm impressed. But I'm also worried about him.

"Hiccup, just take baby steps, we got all day. Just don't rush it"I said to him, while he pants away.

"Ugh!"He grunts, sitting back down on the wheelchair"this, this can't be too hard".

I scoffs"Hiccup, you need to take your time on this. I know you have a prosthetic foot right now. You're gonna hurt your self if you keep standing too long. Stitches are still in".

He sighs"I know, I know. I just don't wanna feel vulnerable".

"You're not, you're smart!"I said, encouragingly.

Hiccup then sits back and sighs. I then pull back his wheelchair as I stroll him back to his room. Once we got there he went back to his bed and gave me a concern look.

"What?"I said.

"Astrid, I can still walk, I just need a lot more time to focus on getting back up. Without struggling"He says, pulling up his left leg and glance at his prosthetic foot"with the current technology I won't be able to limp as much".

I then sit next to him and slowly reach over his hand and look at him at his emerald eyes"Hiccup, I just worried about you....I...don't wanna get you hurt again".

He slightly chuckles and grabbed my hand"Don't worry...I'm Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. I survived worse".

I rolled my eyes"oh Hiccup".

We both then went to the cafeteria to have lunch, and it was not so busy as usual but luckily it was safe to assume nothing hadn't happened yet. Like if Heather escape, she knew who I was and she could easily exposed me to the public which is bad for me. So I'm trying to keep a low profile until everything cools down, but I'm still worried that some of our friends will see suspicions between us.

I kept picking on the meatloaf as I can't stop thinking, Hiccup then notice my deep distraction so he tap my wrist to gain my attention which it did.

"Y-Y-Yes?"I said, immediately.

"You hardly touched your food"He point out"are you sure you're okay?".

I exclaimed"well I'm just kinda worried. What if Heather already exposed me to the police and they're just waiting for the right moment to catch me".

"Astrid, nothings gonna happen, you're safe, we're safe! I highly doubt Heather won't runaway to wherever she working for".

"But Hiccup, Heather works with Grimmel right?".

Hiccup gave in a thoughtful look but shook his head in disagreement"she's about our age, I doubt he offered her something. Unless Grimmel used her to lure us in?".

"Grimmel hunt me down for couple years now. I had to move like twice to get far away as possible and I tried my best to hide my tracks"I said, looking down at my hands"you wouldn't understand what I've done".

Hiccup then reach over my hand"Astrid, I still love you, and I always will. But we will fix what have you done. We can't bring them back, we just gotta find a different way of saying it".

I slightly smile at him but immediately a huge headache came in"ugh, man this headache bugs me. I need to sleep more often".

"Jheeeze. Do you ever have...psychological episodes?"He asked.

I sigh"I would say maybe but I don't know. Sometimes at night I have a rough time sleeping".

"Do you have nightmares?".

I then finally took a bite out of my meatloaf and tried to avoid the question"let's not talk about it...please".

Hiccup nods his head"okay".

I never told Hiccup about my nightmares, I had a rough time sleeping. I bet this is karma of the victims I perished, sometimes I can hear their screams. I never thought I would be this sick but I didn't want anyone to know what caused them to keep appearing.

~Hiccup's P.O.V~

Everyday I tried pushing myself to the limit as I struggle to walk again with one foot. But at least Astrid is there to support me. She decided to go home and come back later this evening, so it's just me right now watching basic tv and not knowing what to do now.

With Grimmel gone, Heather is still out there and I'm afraid she will let out the truth about Astrid being the Cold Blooded killer as she were and it has been a few weeks since her last killing as well. Which I'm very relieved to hear that from her, I'm glad she is really trying to change her life around but it will be a forever burden for her that the victims she has perished over the last few years.

Suddenly I heard a few knocks on my door as I look up"uhhh come in?".

The door opens and it was Jack.

"Oh hey Jack! Good to see you!"I greet, happily.

"Hey Hiccup! How you feeling?"Jack pulls up a chair as he sat down.

"Uhh well I'm feeling good, just trying to walk again. As I got only one foot"I frown looking down at my foot.

"Oh cheer up Hiccup, you will walk. With that new technology I'm sure you won't limp as much"Jack assures me.

"Thanks man"I said, giving him a fist bump.

"No probs dude".

As we were chatting away, something pops up in my memory that Astrid went to Jack for help which I'm wondering if he knew about the truth, so I'm not gonna make it so obvious about the topic.

"So Astrid went for you to get help?"I said in a casual tone but not too suspicious.

"Yeah she did, I was confused at first about what is she talking about. But I kinda understood that you were in danger"He explains"but I was still confused, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Do you now anything?".

"What me?! Oh nooo not at all"I chuckle nervously"I just got involved in the wrong place at the wrong time with some old creepy guy".

"That could be truth"Jack shrug"least you're save dude!".

"Oh yes for sure".

I wonder Jack knows about Astrid, I know he's not dumb to realize what's going on. He must know what Astrid is, I have to find out for sure in a different way of approaching this conversation. Hopefully then Astrid can find closure of her old ways of ending someone's life.

Since she stopped, maybe people will forget in a couple years. But it won't be easy. I notice Astrid's strange behaviour like she looks over her shoulder as she's watching her back. I just hope she really trust me to keep her secret as long as possible, until we find a way for her to be safe.

Meanwhile...
Narrator

Astrid was peacefully sleeping as she snooze away while her parrot Stormfly was also sleeping in her cage. Unexpectedly Astrid seems to be moving around back and forth of her bed, her face expressions appear to change as her breathing accelerating which cause her to wake up and stood up fast.

She rapidly inhaled & exhaled as she felt exhausted, while panting she begin to cry as she made herself into a ball.

"W-W-Why I'm like this!!"She cried out, while her mother ran into her room.

"Astrid honey! is everything okay?!"Her Mother quickly went up to her and hugged her while Astrid hugs back tightly.

Astrid kept on crying while her Mother embraced her to comfort her, then for awhile Astrid finally calm down.

"You okay?"Her Mother asked.

"I'm..."Astrid sniffs"okay....thank you".

"Was it another nightmare?"

"Yes. I don't wanna talk about it!"Astrid went back to hug her Mother.

"Shhh it's okay...I'm here"

Astrid felt safe that her Mother was there to comfort her as she simply fell back to sleep, knowing her Mom is there for her.
