Based on a soulmate au where the first words your soulmate says when you see them appears on your wrist, and the same with your soulmate (if that makes sense). Enjoy! Also yes i know the song doesn't have anything to do with the oneshot but it fits the whole Resident Evil Village theme :D

Y/n and Bela were playing a board game in the kitchen whilst watching the heavy snow fall down on the village. They were both playing a simple game of chess, and so far Bela was winning. Y/n had never played chess before however, and Bela was apparently 'making the game easier for her'. Y/n didn't believe that.

"Oh, would you look at that! I've won! Again! You did good this round though, Mother Y/n," Bela smiled, taking the rest of Y/n pieces in her final move. Y/n congratulated her, although she was annoyed. 

"Well that was fun- wait, what's that?" Bela spoke, before noticing something on Y/n's wrist. Y/n was confused as she looked at her right wrist, but was soon shocked at what she saw.

"Why are there words on my wrist, Bela?! Did you and your sisters do this? I-I'm confused..."

"No, I didn't do anything! Neither did Daniela and Cassandra! Maybe it's... no, it can't be that... what does it say?"

"It says 'Cassandra, Bela, Daniela, what thing is it now?'. It can't possibly mean anything important... can it?"

"I know exactly what that is, Mother Y/n! Follow me, I've got to tell Cassandra about this!"

Y/n followed Bela to the ballroom, where Cassandra and Daniela were teaching each other different songs on the piano. They looked up for a brief moment, but quickly carried on playing. 

"Daniela! Cassandra! I have news!" Bela smiled. Daniela looked up happily.

"Is it about Y/n?!" Daniela questioned, "*gasp* did Y/n and Mother Alcina 'do it'?"

Y/n stared at Daniela in embarrassment.

"Pfft, I wish! Mother Y/n has a soulmate mark!" Bela replied.

"A what?" Y/n spoke, surprised. Cassandra walked up to Y/n and looked at her wrist, carefully inspecting the words.

"You're right, Bela. It's a soulmate mark," Cassandra smiled excitedly.

Since Y/n was still confused, Cassandra explained the whole soulmate mark thing. At the end of her explanation, Lady Dimitrescu entered the ballroom, confused at why everyone was getting so excited over Y/n.

"Girls, what is heavens name are you doing?" She spoke.

"Mother Alcina! Can I see your hand please?" Cassandra exclaimed. Lady Dimitrescu got even more confused, but she agreed nonetheless. Cassandra quickly looked at Alcina's hand, and looked at everyone else in pure excitement and surprise.

"Wait, what does it say?!" Daniela exclaimed, trying to look as well.

"It says 'Hey, fuck off!'. That was the first thing that Mother Y/n ever said to Mother Alcina!"

"N-no way..." Y/n stared. She looked up at Alcina, realised that she just so happened to be her soulmate. But how had she only just found out about it all? Was Alcina hiding this from her from when they first met each other?

Alcina left the room after a small discussion with Daniela, and left the rest of them in the ballroom. She also left them all with many, many questions...
