The midsummer sun was glaring down on Y/n and Alcina as they wandered the castle's vast garden. The garden only seemed like a small field full of tall grass and wildflowers, but to Y/n, it was more magical than the castle itself. Alcina sat down near a patch of daisies, and Y/n continued to wander the area. She spotted ladybugs and grasshoppers amongst the dandelions, and it all made her feel like a child again, when she didn't have to worry about the life ahead of her. Her h/c hair swayed behind her as she walked back to Alcina.

"Darling, this place is amazing... why didn't you tell me about this sooner?" Y/n smiled, sitting next to Alcina.

"Because I wanted to save it until I knew that I found the perfect girl to share it with..." Alcina replied. Y/n blushed, but smiled and hugged her. 

Time passed, and Y/n began to wander the area again. This time, she picked a variety of flowers and arranged them in a circle, like a crown. The flower crown was big, but vibrant and filled with an array of wildflowers, like cornflowers and poppies. Y/n ran to Alcina, in hopes of surprising her with it.

"Hey, I have something for you!" Y/n exclaimed, kneeling down and keeping the crown behind her back.

"What is it? I hope it isn't an animal of some sort,"

"Nope! I think you'll like it,"

"Ok..."

Y/n took Alcina's hat, and replaced it with the flower crown. It fitted perfectly, and it complemented her curly hair. Alcina was speechless for a short while but blushed as she saw Y/n staring at her in awe.

"Well, t-thank you, darling," Alcina smiled, "It's gorgeous,"

"You're welcome!" 

Y/n kissed Alcina on the cheek and got back up to wander the field once more, leaving Alcina in a lovesick mood for the rest of the long summers day...
