So...at first I wanted to make this chapter for Yemisi and then Yinka in the next but after I had published this....I thought about it and realized that it was stupid. Its been exactly Two weeks...

Fourteen days...

Three hundred and thirty-six hours...

Twenty thousand one hundred and sixty minutes...

One million, two hundred and nine thousand six hundred seconds..

And I have heard nothing from Tony.

Believe me when I say, I was running mad. As per MAD!

It was as if he had vanished from the surface of the earth....maybe God took him to heaven the way he took Enoch.

But he could've at least given me notice? I've prayed and prayed day and night. I only get words like it'd be okay. Trust me. And things like that. To be honest, it made me calm....but the thing is, I would then remember what I'm dealing with and start to forget what God has said.

Which is obviously giving me heart attacks slowly.

"First of all: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!" Yimika screamed

Right...mine and yinka's birthday. Is today.

We are finally sixteen. But I expected to celebrate with Tony also. My parents wanted to throw a big party for us and invite over some celebrities but I didn't want to which took them by surprise because I'd been so happy about it and now...I didn't want to.

Yinka also didn't want to because she felt that if I wasn't going to enjoy it, there was no point. which obviously, I was great full for.

"Aww thank you" I smiled but it didn't reach my eyes

"You want to hangout today? I mean for you guys birthday since you didn't want to do anything. I thought we could all you know" Yimika asked over the phone "Daniel would be there along with Thomas"

"I'm not so sure, I don't feel like it, tell Yinka about it or sum. I'm not in the mood" I said. To be honest, I felt dead and never felt like doing anything. I swear his disappearance has done a lot to me.

Even on our birthday, I didn't want to do anything....how bad is that on a scale of 1 to 10?

"Yemisi....I know what you're feeling, I really understand but just because he left doesn't mean you should die. I mean...he of course means a whole lot to us but you're running mad literally. You need sometime to just chill and breathe. And forget about him for your well being, it's you guys birthday for crying out loud, you've been wishing for this day to come ever since yinka left so why are you now doing....."

"Are you asking me to just forget about Tony? You're forgetting his MY boyfriend an---"

"And MY best friend. Well one of my closest friends. Do you think I'm not feeling bad about it also? Do you think I haven't cried about it?"

"Well that's the impression you're giving" I muttered

"So you expect me to go around with black clothes and ashes on my head and torn bathroom slippers cutting myself with blade and screaming? Yemisi don't be delusional. You need this outing to just calm down and at least celebrate your birthday. Its you guy's Sweet SIXTEEN!" she said.

I paused to think for a while. If I actually just stayed at home and drown myself in sadness and guilt and anger....I'll probably die sooner so it would be better for me if I went out with them

"Fine....wait Thomas is coming?" I asked...another drama coming right up my friends.

Little did I know that mine was also coming up.

"Yes he is, I know what you're thinking. I talked to Daniel before and he's going to try to contain himself" She said

"You know...boys can be stupid. Like very stupid. How can you like someone..and you know the person likes you. But you'd be do in strong head there? And when the person now moves on...you'll be forming vexed?" I said
.

"I know right? But that's his own business. If he likes..let him not like me. if he likes..let him like me. I know I like him but I cannot force myself on him. plus Thomas is a really nice guy"

"I don't like Thomas like that" I said.

"Ehn that's your business. You're not the one dating him"

Huh?

"DATING! Yimika you're already dating him? You guys are moving wayyy to fast okay?" I said

"Whatever. Be fast sha and wear something reasonable. If you wear sweatshirt and sweatpants, I'll slap you. Meet us at Shoprite" She warned.

And I actually wanted to wear that.

"Fine" I said . she said good bye and hung up.

I quickly ran into the bathroom to shower. Don't kill me yet, I know I'm not the only one who showers by past 12pm.

I did my regular hygiene and then packed packed my hair in a slick bun, I did my edges and a little natural make up.

I wore a yellow off shoulder top and black jeans pairing it with a black and white sandals.

I walked downstairs to find yinka sitting all by herself munching on toast bread. "Happy birthday girl" I smiled at her reaching out to hug her. "Happy birthday!!!!" She squealed hugging me back tightly.

"Aww we're sixteen!!" She said

"I know right? Its so unbelievable. I still can't believe it" I said

"But you aren't that happy about it either. It's Tony isn't it?"

"L-Lets just forget about him for now and focus on our birthday. Where's mom and dad?"

"I don't know...I woke up and they weren't home but The Maid said to read this letter from mom. I wanted to wait for you before we read it"

I nodded and opened the letter, reading out loud.

In case you're wondering...we all went out for a concert by Davido. We'd be back later in the evening. take care

My heart ached, I looked at Yinka to see disappointment etched onto her face. "I---Wow. No birthday wishes or anything" She said. I shook my head. this was the last thing I imagined would happen

"What if they forgot?"  I asked.

She shrugged "Yimika sha said we should meet up with her at shop rite"

"Yeah...she called me lemme eat fast so we can go"

We both finished up our food and got the driver to take us to shop rite

Once we got there I called her.

"Where are you guys?" I asked

"By the pizza hut place. You'll see the table and chairs there we're waiting for you two" she said and hung up.

Pizza hut pizza hut pizza--

Oh there it is! 

We walked in and the next thing I saw shocked me bad.

Everyone...including my family was there with a birthday cake and two big golden balloons shaped in 16.

I squealed and turned to Yinka who looked equally shocked 

"Omg!!!" I screamed at the same time Yinka let out a "My heart!"

Everyone sang for us and hugged us, giving us presents.

"You didn't want a birthday party Yemisi, and Yinka agreed on your behalf. so...we fixed this. All thanks to Yimika" my mom said.

"But for real...Davido concert?" Yinka laughed.

"You used that?! Honey I told you not to" Dad said

Mom shrugged at him

"Let's get going so that you guys can spend time together" mom said dragging dad away.

Leaving me, yinka, yimika, Daniel, Thomas and Temi.

Daniel was already glaring at Thomas and we hadn't even started.

"Let's go shopping since we've eaten?" Thomas suggested

"Um no...let's chill for a while. Right Yimika?" Daniel asked.

we all looked at  yimika while Yinka whispered the words "Drama" to me in a singsong.

"Uhh we've been chilling for some time now so..let's go shopping" she said.

Thomas smirked at Daniel who glared at him.

Fast forward to two long hours of fights between Daniel and Thomas over Yimika, shopping and gisting...we were good to go.

We all carried our bags outside when my eyes caught something.

"N--No it can't be" I whispered dropping all my stuffs onto the floor and running towards the person.

"Hey Yemisi....I've missed you" he smiled at me. If it was any other time I'd have melted at his smile and smiled right back but this wasn't any other time.

So I did what I always do slap him and stand there waiting for an explanation.

Call me a brutal girlfriend but that's what he needs I tell you
