"You think this is okay?" Hoeseok huffs out, reaching for the younger's attention.
"What?" Jungkook mutters, acting all clueless.
The sudden turn of the conversation leading towards the same old topic was solely known by Jungkook. But still, the idea of acting oblivious injects through his behavior, in hope of escaping.
"C'mon Kook. You know what is 'not' okay?" The older rolls his eyes in his oblivious acting. Even though he never pulled out this act before, but still it was somehow very obvious to Hoeseok.
"If you are talking about me, then 'I'm very okay.'" Jungkook replies in a relaxed manner.
His doe-eyes resting on the papers and the screen in front of him, occasionally fiddling with the papers. The lack of attention on the elder from him results in few sighs.
"You're not the usual 'Jungkook' I know." Hoeseok states. His almond eyes now resting on his lap, already expecting nothing but silence from him.
"Okay." Jungkook inhales, " What do you want me to do?"
For a mere second, the alluring face of Hoesok lights up with hope.
"Don't just copy the words of 'dad' now." He warns, settling back on the papers.
And that send the pangs of disappointment on his petty face.
"I mean...you could at least date." His honey-brown orbs plead in the most sincere way, only to receive a deceiving sigh from the younger.
"I can't be sure that it won't be the same case as the wedding," Jungkook speaks nonchalantly.
"You know what?" Hoeseok snaps, "I'm gonna find that bitch who ruined your wedding." He cusses while pretending to leave his office room.
"Yeah...good luck on that." Jungkook challenges.
"I'm serious." Hoeseok glares, eliminating those cute eye smile that always inhabits his face.
"You haven't even seen her face and you don't know her full name. In fact, it would be quite hard for you to gather information about her cause she's not into fame like her dad." Jungkook throws in a fact, only to add a level to his aggression. Fortunately, Dongmin peeks in the office, being the cause of their distraction.
"Sir...Mr.Kim is here. Should I send him here?" He asks politely, as Jungkook nods, giving him a queue to leave.
But poor Dongmin...didn't know he would find himself under the hold of Hoeseok. The clouds of mischievous ideas on making that runway bride suffer were the only things Hoeseok could think of. And his brain suggests probably Dongmin could help him, achieve his goals.
"Dongmin will help me." He yelps cheerfully.
"Uhhh...I'll help you, of course. But may I know, what type of help?" Dongmin asks, being a bit insecure.
The flashy grin lits the once frustrated face of Hoesoek, inviting the dust of mischief. The only goal is to make that girl's life a living hell.
"Let's discuss this over coffee, okay?" Hoeseok asks, only to receive an apprehensive expression from Dongmin.
"Okay," He mumbles, shortly after. The exploration of zing inside him can't keep Hoeseok from jumping in hope before pulling him for the main discussion.
A sigh of relief yet with a trace of worry settles in Jungkook's mind. Relief from the same blabberings of Hoeseok and worry from what might going in the older's head. And what he might be able to do. But he was compelled to care less about it cause in the upcoming minutes he has a meeting.
'Okay let's just pretend nothing happened earlier' Jungkook announces to his cloud of thoughts as if it would come to an end.
Fortunately and unexpectantly, it came to an end, the moment his eyes tumble over a guy with dark hair. Be it in a mess or that's what it's intended to be like, that is certainly it suits with his sharp jawline and polite smile. Hair so long that it almost reaches his ear and covers his forehead, giving him that 'good boy' vibe.
His brown eyes squinted at Jungkook, never did he expected his client to be this young and good-looking. He looks like a cut-out model from a magazine to Taehyung, so goes with him for Jungkook.
"Mr.Jeon?" Taehyung confirms. His deep voice concludes in a mumble beholding the politeness he's attempting.
"Yes. Mr.Kim?" Jungkook exclaims, scurrying up from his seat. The polite smile still plastered on his face ever since feels so robotic yet comforting at the same time.
"Call me Taehyung." He proceeds his hand in terms of introduction.
"Jungkook," He accepts, reflecting the courteous grin.
But the eyes of Jungkook can't help but notice the ring sitting on his ring finger, offering his brain with another flash of thoughts. And from the time being in the meeting, Jungkook unintentionally takes notes of his behaviors mentally.
Super polite and modest, yet friendly that always motivates a genuine grin on the person with him.

-Flashback a few months ago-
The rain conjures a sweet pattern in the glass surface of the high-end glass window. Clouds showering the busy road, unlike the aromatic cafe being a contrast of warmth and touches of laughter.
Dongmin solely intended to be here, in terms of work. The paperwork and the laptop scattering on the small coffee table as his eyes proceed to identify the pattern of raindrops. His brain replaying the same words of Hoseok.
"All I know that she's Ms. Song. Jungkook won't even tell me what's her full name? But you know her, right?" Hoseok pleads with his adorable eyes. But the shock gripping Dongmin's face couldn't be compared with his pleadings.
Is it really the end of his and Ji-ah?
These questions always evolve his brain, and in such comforting weather, being caught in the webs of one's own emotion he couldn't help but realize the trouble he's into.
Even though it was Ji-ah's suggestion to ruin the wedding like that, he couldn't blame her.
Cause be it earlier or later, he might ask her the same thing if she didn't suggest it that day.
"Congrats Ms.Song!" The array of people on a particular table hollers out in enthusiasm while the receiver feels a bit embarrassed from all the attention, including Dongmin's.
"Thank you." She voices out, with a pursed grin across her flushed face.
All these scenarios playing in front of Dongmin, but not like any other normal person's. The only thing he could think of is,
"She has the same surname as Ji-ah." His mind notes.
He knows about the upcoming guilt and trouble on the plan he could only decipher now. But being out of options, he has to at least try it out.
Maybe it's okay to be a little selfish, he convinces himself.
