Part one of three of the Christmas chapters

(Past Thea) -

[Stalker Journal: Entry NO. 13]

"I can't believe I forgot Christmas presents, again," I muttered as I sprinted to the mall. I always shop at the last minute, it was Christmas eve and I still only had one gift prepared, that too I only completed the same day.

Knowing that my parents would be happy if I just gave them a painting, I had planned on making one for their bedroom but then I proceeded to procrastinate as usual and only just finished painting it today, it was still drying at home.

Panting, I stopped to breathe for a minute then ran in. Finding a present for Neveah was luckily very easy this time. I spotted a hardback set of the Percy Jackson on sale and quickly grabbed the last set, upsetting a poor nine-year-old. Neveah was a die heart fangirl of Percy Jackson and I knew she'd love this.

Finding a gift for Lucky was hard though, I wandered around mindlessly for a while but then I found it; a guitar. He was looking for a new one for some time so this was perfect.

I bought some other gifts for my friends, then left the mall, happy with the gifts but sad that I only had about 50 bucks left since these were expensive.

Oh well, I'll just ask grandpa to add a few more bucks to my gift by bribing him with cookies and cakes.

Trying to carry all this stuff to the bus stop was no easy task but there was no way I could walk home and I didn't have my bicycle with me either so this was the only way.

"Excuse me, do you need help with that?" I heard a familiar voice call out and I groaned.

"As much as I don't want to see you, I'm in dire need of help so yes, please," I begrudgingly admitted.

"Aah, you again. I told you you shouldn't doubt fate," he smirked.

"Whatever," I huffed.

"Anyways, since I'm a decent human being unlike yourself, I'm going to help you," he said, taking a few bags from me and I poked my tongue out at him. "Where to?"

"Only to the bus stop over there, I can take it from there." I pointed.

We silently walked to the bus stop, me walking particularly close to him since I didn't want to risk him running off with the gifts.

Come on, I'm dumb but not that dumb.

"Here you go," he said and put the bags down on the bench.

"Thank you, for carrying these and for not running off with anything, as an award I will give you a gift," I thanked him and fished out a bar of chocolate from my bag, handing it to him.

"No problem and thanks?" he uttered and I grinned.

"Merry Christmas! Ooh, the bus is here, bye, thank you for helping," I said as I rushed to get on the bus.

"Hey, you." I heard him say and I turned around to see him giving me a soft smile while his cheeks were flushed.

"Merry Christmas to you too."

(Past Thea) -

"I love the cold weather, I especially love snow, too bad it doesn't snow here," I pouted as I said so, looking out of Chance's balcony.

"Snow makes it too cold for me to handle," Chance disagreed and I smirked, walking towards him to the bed.

"Then I'd cuddle you to keep you warm," I said as I flop down on him and he groaned. He immediately pushed me back but I guess he pushed me too hard since I tumbled down to the floor. I rubbed my head as I sat up, feeling a little bump. Slowly, I turned towards Chance, giving him a deathly glare and his eyes widened as he mumbled something.

"Uh oh."

Before he could run, I jumped on him with my claws in the open aka my nails and began to attack him mercilessly with my fists. I wasn't that cruel that I'd scratch him, I only did that once before.

Okay, maybe twice but that's it.

"Jesus woman, would you calm the fuck down, it was an accident," Chance pleaded under me and I smirked. In one swift movement, I had thrown him on the bed and was straddling him, holding his fists above his head.

"You're a fucking asshole, you know?" I said.

"And you're well aware that I could switch us over any second, right?" he retorted, rolling his eyes.

Before I could reply the door opened, "Hey guys, lunch is- Holy shit. Aight, I'm out, continue on, please."

We both hadn't even processed what just happened when we heard Noah yelling outside. "Chance and Thea won't be joining us, our man and woman are getting laid."

My eyes widened as I looked at Chance and I'm pretty sure my whole face was red as I scrambled off of him. I guess our position was a bit... inappropriate.

Chance's ears turned red at the tips and he ran outside, "You son of a bitch, she was on me because she attacked me, not because we were planning on having sex."

"Don't forget to mention that I only attacked you because you threw me off the bed," I called out as I entered the living room.

"And I only threw you off the bed because you fucking collapsed on me." he pointed out.

"So you admit that you threw me on purpose?"

"Mierda." (Shit.)

"Tonto, al menos aprende a mentir." (Dumbass, at least learn to lie.)

He just pulled my hair in response and walked to the couch, while I stuck my tongue out at him. I went and sat with Lexi.

"Hey, bitch," she greeted me, smiling.

"Hey, what are you up to these days?" I asked.

"Nothing much, I'm just bored, I think I've slept with all the people in our fashion and textiles class. I can't wait till tonight's party, maybe I can finally find a fuck buddy who won't catch feelings," she complains as I play with her hair, making little braids.

"Sure boo, I'll help you find someone. Who're you looking for; boy or girl?"

"Meh, I don't really care. Ooh, maybe I can try a threesome, those seem fun," she said and I laughed.

"You do you, bruh. Just know I'm here," I smiled at her and she pinched my cheeks.

"You're so cute, Thee. I wish I could date you, you have a fun personality and you're hot, that's like the total package, sadly I don't date nor do you swing that way."

"I'd date you any day of the week," I assured her and looked up as Lexi joined us, sitting down on my lap.

"What kind of lesbian shit is going on here? I wanna join, I'd never say no to a couple of sexy girls," she flirted and I giggled.

"Darling, just say the word and I'll take you right here, right now," Tori said and leaned in, towards Lexi.

"That's fine by me, mommy." Lexi innocently batted her eyelashes and Tori grabbed the collar of her shirt.

"Shut up, Lex. You don't know what you're getting into," Tori growled and Lexi only annoyed her more by mouthing the words.

"Make me."

"Cut off that shit, it's grossing me out," Vince said as he passed by, making the back of Tori's head, making her bump into Lexi.

"Vince! They were just about to kiss!" Noah and I whined at the same time.

These two always shamelessly flirt, however, they never act on it but then just when they were about to Vince's asexual ass had to be disgusted and ruin the moment.

"Anyways, eat your food people then we're gonna open presents," Noah grinned cheekily as he said so.

"I-wow, it's beautiful," I gasped as I observed the delicate pen in my hands.

It really was stunning, the metallic rose gold color shined because of the glare of the lights in the room and a beautifully crafted pink rose stood at the top.

"Do you like it? I know it's just a pen but when I went back home for a while, I had the idea to make one for you with my mom, she practically did it but I helped. The rose comes off, you know? It becomes a charm that you attach anywhere. And yeah, the pink rose represents friendship and I just wanted you to know that I cherish our friendship," Chance rambled on and on while I was still in awe.

"I love it, you amazing dumbass. Now my gift will look dumb," I said, laughing as a tear leaked out my eye.

"Sorry, I gave you that dumb sketchbook earlier, I just didn't wanna give this in front of everyone," he said, rubbing his neck. "Anyway, I'm sure I'll love your gift, what is it?"

"Oh! Well, I have only one present," I stated and stood up to take it out of my closet, opening its door open, I slid one large, neatly-wrapped gift out. I quickly gave it to Chance, urging him to open it.

His eyebrows furrowed looking at the size and he slowly unwrapped it, becoming still when he glanced at it, "Thea, this is amazing."

"I take it that you like it?"

"Like it? I love it!" He yelled and crushed me in a hug while I groaned. The gift was a painting; a mural of one of those times that we were at the park. The painting's inspiration had come to me because of a photograph I found in my drawer. In it, I was perched on Chance's shoulders as he was smiling and pointing to something ahead that now I did not remember.

"Okay, get up. We still need to finish packing and you distracted me," I broke the silence and stood in front of my closet once again, taking out all the clothes that I needed to pack since I was leaving on a flight to go back home tomorrow evening. It was the best I could manage around Christmas time and I would maybe just barely make it in time.

"Right, what's left?"

"My toiletries need to be put in a bag and my underwear I guess, I'll gather the toiletries, you know where my underwear is," I instructed and started to put all my things in a small bag while Chance walked to my underwear drawer and took some stuff out.

"Ooh kinky," he smirked as he held up a lace bra and I huffed.

"Focus! I have to get ready for the party soon too."

"They're still four hours."

"Yeah, I need to swing by Jonah's really fast to give him his present too."

"Aah. You want me to come to pick you up or will he drop you home?"

"He doesn't know I'm coming, I just know he's home because I asked his neighbor, she's such a sweet little lady. And I'm gonna drive, don't worry."

"Okay, just be safe."

"You know I will."

I took a deep breath and knocked on Jonah's apartment door.

"Open the door, dickhead!"

The door opened almost immediately and I was shocked to see Jonah in front of me, dripping wet with only a towel loosely hanging dangerously low around his hips.

"Thea." He breathed. "What are you doing here? Anyhow, come in."

I gulped and entered the house, trying my best to focus my attention on his face, "I had to give you your present."

"You didn't have to come all the way here, doll," he said, using that dreaded nickname. "Wait here, I'll go change and get your gift too."

I nodded and sat down on the couch while he disappeared into his room, emerging only a few minutes later wearing a pair of dark grey sweatpants and a flimsy white t-shirt that was sticking to his abs. His right hand held a box which I could only assume was my gift while the other rubbed a towel against his wet hair, making it messy.

"So, what'd you get me," he grinned as he took the gift from my hand. I urged him to unwrap it and he did. After tearing the wrapping paper off, he slowly raised the lid to reveal a black watch placed in the middle of the box.

"Ooh, that's a nice watch, looks expensive though, you didn't spend too much on me, right?" he questioned me, tilting his head.

"Don't worry about the price, besides it came in a set! It has a magnet in it that attaches to the other watch; this one," I explained as I held up my wrist for him to see the other watch.

"That's pretty neat," he commented, gently holding my hand as he observed my watch in silence. "Open mine," he spoke up and I complied. Inside the box was a stunning, silver, charm bracelet.

"One of the charms is the Taurus symbol, your star sign, one's Gemini, mine. Then the others are just things that you love like art, clothes, and your photography. I assembled it myself."

"It's really pretty," I whispered, in awe of the elegant piece of jewelry in my hands.

"I'm glad you like it, doll." He smirked and my heart fluttered.

Wow, so um yeah that happened, Jonah is hot, Chance is sweet, idk who to choose. Who would you choose?

Chapter 14 was supposed to be about Valentine's Day and unjust realized that it would've so cool since it would be 14 and 14, but the things that happened in that chapter seemed like things happened just out of nowhere. So then, Chapter 14 was about an ice cream "date" but then again it felt too rushed, thus these Christmas chapters were born. It was originally supposed to be like one chapter but then I went on a writer's high and wrote too much so it's now divided into 3 parts.

Yeah, Chapter 14 was a hassle.

I'm also thinking of adding collages on the chapter itself at the start of each chapter since I'm weird and bored.

But anyhow, here's your update. Comment on what you would like to see in the future and some flashback ideas, maybe I'll choose to include the idea!
